For our 2018 festival, we shall be accepting all films of all lengths and genres including Documentary, Experimental, Religious/Spiritual, Animation, Comedy, Horror, with Horror sub-genres that include Supernatural, Thrillers, Wicken, Magical, Slashers, Science Fiction, Suspense, Horror Documentary, Horror Animation and all genres of Music Videos and LGBT films for the 2018 festival.

Now in the new millennium of filmmaking, our festival takes a leap forward and pierces the veil between the worldwide film audience and independent films with a cutting edge virtual theater that crumbles the boundaries that have in the past limited those who could partake in each filmmaker’s vision captured on film.
Much like with the digital technology that has swept independent film festivals throughout the world since the early 2000s, for many reasons the virtual theater is quickly becoming the first, best choice for festivals, and the new home of Independent film screening worldwide.
The virtual theater is the future of film festivals, as more and more festivals are now screening films online, and even the big festivals such as the Sundance Film Festival and the Tribeca Film Festival are moving to online screenings.
Festivals are making the leap to cyber screenings because of many reasons, including that it allows for so much more exposure for the films. It is expected that just like the extinction of the 35mm projectors that were replaced with digital, one day in the not too distant future all film festivals will screen almost exclusively online, with only a few live presentations, if any.
Unlike most other Film Festivals, ours is different because it offers a unique method of viewing films in an online film festival that is totally secure and safe for a filmmaker’s project, and even those that provide online festivals cannot duplicate the safety and security that our virtual theater offers.
Very different from other festivals streaming films online, films in this festival cannot be downloaded, the films HAVE NO EMBEDDING CODE and our HTML code if copied and pasted, the films will not play, therefore they CANNOT be placed on other websites.
The only time and place they can be viewed is in our festival. In short, we have gone to great lengths to set this system up to protect the safety and security of each filmmaker’s film always keeping the filmmaker in mind. Basically, it is just as secure as a brick and mortar theater screening, only much better.
The virtual theater system and screening platform is completely secure and can be viewed from any computer, and mobile device.

Este festival começa com a intenção de superar a simples exposição. Embora seja importante conscientizar o público sobre os riscos relacionados à exploração e ao uso de recursos naturais na produção de combustíveis fósseis, ainda permanece o enorme e dramático problema dos desastres causados pela falta de energia, com particular referência ao abastecimento de água, altamente relevante para a população mundial. O principal objetivo do festival será, portanto, não apenas enfatizar os problemas relacionados ao uso de combustíveis fósseis, mas especialmente identificar as alternativas que levem em conta, de acordo com o conhecimento científico atual, os diversos métodos de produção conhecidos.
Nossa chamada está aberta a todos os indivíduos, agências, coletivos de arte ou produtores que possuem os direitos de obras audiovisuais de curta duração, incluindo documentário, argumentativo, experimental e/ou videoarte. Torrelavega is likely to be one of the few Spanish cities that can boast of being a pioneer in this world as they speak of cinema, international festivals, filmmakers encounter and exchange of knowledge is not new in this city. Before the proliferation of competitions and short film festivals in Spain, Torrelavega lived more than twenty editions Film Festival Sniace precursor in Spain of independent cinema and similar initiatives. Festival fundado pelo Conselho Regional de Kharkiv em 2009.
A missão do Festival é encontrar e apoiar estúdios e clubes para crianças/jovens, que estão envolvidos na criatividade de cinema e televisão, crianças talentosas; desenvolvimento do cinema infantil e televisão juvenil na Ucrânia.
Os objetivos do Festival são:
— o estabelecimento e desenvolvimento de contactos entre estúdios de crianças/jovens, intercâmbio de experiências e desenvolvimento profissional adicional dos participantes;
— comunicação ao público em geral de obras e projetos interessantes e destacados de diferentes países, apresentação das melhores práticas globais no desenvolvimento da indústria cinematográfica e televisão para crianças/jovens;
— a configuração de plataformas criativas e de comunicação para trocar experiências e apresentar novos projetos durante o Festival e entre os tempos do Festival;
— desenvolvimento pessoal criativo, educação de valores morais e ativismo social;
— chamar a atenção de organizações governamentais, não governamentais e entidades comerciais para as questões do desenvolvimento da criatividade criança/juvenil de tela, para os processos de formação de personalidade através do recebimento de informações transmitidas por meios de comunicação eletrônicos de massa, para as necessidades dos clubes criativos de crianças/jovens, o desenvolvimento de crianças talentosas e seu futuro.
O Festival é realizado entre a televisão infantil e juvenil, animação, estúdios de cinema e rádio, clubes, grupos e autores individuais, emissoras de televisão e rádio e entidades de produção criativa, diretores e centros de produtores, que produzem programas e filmes para crianças e jovens.
Daazo - the European Shortfilm Centre proudly presents the 4th edition of the Friss Hús International Shortfilm Festival, which will take place at the end of March 2016 in Budapest, Hungary. The success of the last three years made it possible for Friss Hús to become one of the most important shortfilm events in Hungary.
The long term plan of the organisers of Friss Hús is to make sure that the event becomes an internationally acclaimed festival where the audience can watch entertaining and colourful short film selections and where the filmmakers can meet important professionals from the film industry as well as attend special workshops.
We hope to see you in Budapest at the Friss Hús screenings, for an all night long party or at one of the festival’s professional events!
