Il Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Salerno was founded in 1946 by CINECLUB SALERNO.
Since its inception, the Salerno Festival has been characterized as a competitive event for Italian and international productions, thus proposing a continuous comparison on the developments of world cinematography.
The Festival assigns to cinema an important social function and its finality is to constantly adapt its line with an eye to the evolution of technologies and new "audiovisual" media.
The 78th Salerno International Film Festival will take place in Salerno from 25th to 30th of November 2024. To increase the viewing of the films taking part in the Event more widely available, these films will also be visible on a dedicated VOD platform, subject to the authorization of the competitor.
Films uploaded on to the platform will only be visible to those who register on the site and cannot be downloaded. Those who register on the site to view the films have the possibility of voting for their favorites for the purpose of the "PUBLIC AWARD".
If one does not wish to be present on the platform VOD, the registered film will be viewed by the jury. The screening of the films participating in the Competitions in the Festival locations will be scheduled at the discretion of the Festival Management and in any case in relation to the date and the regular method of submitting the films.
In addition to the Competitions for the various Cinematographic Sections, the Festival also proposes Reviews, Retrospectives and collateral activities (Exhibitions, Conferences, Round Tables, etc.) as a contribution to the dissemination of the History of Italian and International Cinema.
On the final evening of 30 November 2024, prizes will be awarded to the winning films and awards to prominent personalities in the artistic, social and cultural fields. The Award Ceremony can also be divided into two specific evenings: an evening dedicated to "Specialised Cinematography" (documentaries, cartoons, etc.) and another evening dedicated to Feature and Short Fiction Films and various awards.
Both the side events and the awards ceremony will be streamed on the Festival's social channels.

Unalome associtaion, wich offers socio-educational and recreational services in Valcamonica, promotes the first edition of Unalome film festival, for italian and foreign film makers about “gender violence”. The meaning of this competition is to raise public awarness about the topic in all of its aspects, such as support for families and socialization in contemporary society.
We also want to create a school section for forth and fifth grade. We invite this last grade, in particular, to involve students in every phase of the creation of a short movie. We think debate among younger students is important to understand their point of view about gender violence.

The festival is a showcase of films in all genres by young emerging filmmakers.The cultural capital of India hosts numerous film festivals every year. Our team has taken into account the features of most film festivals. To present something new, we decided to place our primary focus on independent underknown filmmaking from all over the world. Besides, we realize that the boundaries of cinema have expanded significantly over the past two decades due to the digital "revolution.” Nowadays, one can shoot films with a smartphone, without using special equipment or being a professional filmmaker. Therefore, the cinema has become far more expressive and entered a new era of its development, uncovering all shades of life, all colours of culture and subcultures. We believe that the programme of Venus Brightest Star Film Festival gives a free hand to any way of artistic expression.
We welcome any experimental ways that create new film languages evolving the cinema!
The topic of the work will be the violence of gender, in any of its manifestations, its prevention and sensitization against it, being able to present documentaries and short films of plot fiction.
The jury will have special consideration for those works that address this issue by focusing on the youth world.
The Film Tracks Film Fest wants to be a meeting point between fans of filmic language, propose quality works.
A special prize will go to a short film about the MEDITERRANEAN.

The Association i Ken Onlus announces a competition for audiovisual lesbian gay transgender and/or questioning-themed works, at the 17th edition of OMOVIES – Lesbian Gay Transgender and Questioning Film Festival. The Festival will be held both on-line and in the cinema room.
The shnit worldwide shortsfestival is a premier platform for the exhibition and promotion of short films. This festival is a unique transnational event held simultaneously in ten cities across five continents. The festival consists of three main segments:

The International Amity Short Film Festival intends to share with the audience all sorts of film forms that points directly or indirectly to the relationship between humanity and the universe that focuses on friendship. Nambrocorto is the short film festival of Nambroca, a town located in the province of Toledo, Spain and its general objective is to promote artistic creation, the seventh art and audiovisual culture among the inhabitants of our town and visitors. The tradition of awarding a laurel wreath to the winner began in the Pythias at Delphi in Greece in, the 6th century BC.
They were organized in honor of the god Apollo, who usually appeared with a laurel wreath in memory of the nymph Daphne who transformed herself into a plant to escape his amorous moods. The plant was named "Daphne".
The International Film Festival of Greece opens its doors to the audience for the fifth time to present domestic and international films, videos and screenplays .
The last events of the festival took place on 28th of September in the center of Athens with screenings at the historic Cinema "Iris" (Cinema Sector - P.O.F.P.A.), and hosted short and feature films from around the world. The festival screened fiction films, documentaries and animations by Greek and foreign directors with free entrance. A significant number of films had their world, European and Greek premieres in Greece.

Το Διεθνές Κινηματογραφικό Φεστιβάλ της Ελλάδος θα ανοίξει για 5 φορά τις πόρτες του στο κοινό και θα παρουσιάσει ταινίες της εγχώριας και παγκόσμιας παραγωγής. Οι τελευταίες εκδηλώσεις του φεστιβάλ έλαβαν χώρα την 28η και 29η Σεπτεμβρίου στον Κινηματογραφικό Τομέα (Π.Ο.Φ.Π.Α.) στην "ΙΡΙΔΑ", και φιλοξένησε μικρού, μεσαίου και μεγάλου μήκους ταινίες απ’ όλο τον κόσμο. FeCHA is Festival de Cine Hispanófono de Atenas and was first organized in 2016 with great success.
The festival focuses on screening current Spanish- speaking films from Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Cuba, Chile, Colombia, etc. showcasing the rich cinematic wealth of these countries.
The festival, since June 2016, has attracted more than 20.000 audience members. Multi-awarded films from Spain and Latin America premiere at the festival. With its sold- out screenings and a diverse programme Athens has shown its love for Spanish speaking culture and cinema.

The national-regional Festival "Corto Cortismo" of Miguelturra (Ciudad Real), aims to promote short films as a means of audiovisual expression, contributing to their recognition, dissemination and appreciation as an essential means of transmitting culture. Our Festival presents a double modality of participation: regional and national, this, in turn, divided into the section of adult fiction short films, and the modality of children-family animation short films.
The regional modality will host all those works that come to us from people or teams that, in some way, have links with the region of Castilla-La Mancha and have been carried out in the last year.
