VinartFest is a multidisciplinary art event around the culture of wine and its symbolism that will celebrate its fourth edition in May 2023. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the first and second editions were celebrated online, even though the festival was created as a presential event to take place in the hamlet of Las Ventas de Alcolea, between Albacete and Cuenca province.
VinartFest wants to be a meeting point for diverse artistic expressions, gathered around the same common thread: the creative and evocative power of wine and its culture.
The Festival is articulated around a dual objective: to showcase the cultural riches that the wine universe possesses, as well as to empower a rural area that has become depopulated and is a testimony to the “emptied Spain”. The festival is an initiative of the non-profit association, Asociación Cultural de Las Ventas de Alcolea.
As part of the event, la Asociación Cultural de las Ventas de Alcolea, has convened the IV Contest of Micro-Rrelato, Photography and Short Films VinartFest 2023, which will join the rest of the activities that will be scheduled within the framework of the Festival.

After 2 successful screenings to commemorate International Women’s Day 2022 and 2023, GIFF is back with EMPOWERING WOMXN 2024. This is GIFF’s endeavour to celebrate the lives, experience, courage, and triumphs of women on International Women’s Day.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Gandhara Independent Film Festival Empowered WOMXN 2024 will curate and exhibit films made by female filmmakers in the capacity of writer and/or director. The films will focus on the female gaze and how it adds to our communal perspective.
In addition to film screenings GIFF will also host panel discussions with female filmmakers to highlight their contributions to the art and craft of storytelling and filmmaking. These discussions are designed to provide insight on the filmmaker's vision and shine a spotlight on the joy and trials that go into the process of making a film from a female lens. Films made by all-female ATL crews are especially encouraged to submit.

BioBiocine, International Film Festival of Concepcion, is an intercultural gathering of knowledge and wisdom expressed through cinema, which aims to be a space for dialogue and contemplation, as well as to disseminate, promote, support and place value on National and International Cinematography from a Territory and Identity that is established as the context for its annual meeting.
BioBioCine International Festival calls for works from all countries and cultures for its eleventh version. Its program includes competitive and non-competitive categories of Fiction and Non-Fiction Feature and Short Films, with a focus on auteur cinema, new filmmakers, experimentation, intercultural dialogue and first nations.
The competition is addressed to filmmakers from all over the world who produce short films and documentaries.
Its purpose is to appraise short films and documentary-films whose goal is expressiveness and cultural disclosure starting a cinematographic event throughout Val d’Intelvi.
The cinema festival Fantasmagoria- Festival de Cine Fantástico y de Terror de Medellín - reaches its 6th edition (Curse of the Full Moon – werewolf cinema). Our competition opens to the world and the city of Medellín to explore genre cinema and reflect on these thematic. The festival has several sections of short films and feature films to embrace the fantastic and horror genre spectrum. The Tsiolkovsky International Space Film Festival (Tsiolkovsky ISFF) is held annually in Kaluga. Films and programs about space and its relationship with science, art, and culture take part in the competitive, non-competitive, and retrospective screenings of the Festival.

The EXTRAMUROS Festival is an annual celebration dedicated to showing a cinema created from the provinces, peripheries or any point outside the capitals of the world, usually excluded from conventional screens. It is a space of recognition for all those people or groups that, through their audiovisual works, communicate their view of the world.
