Aplaudimos a directores, guionistas y cineastas emergentes de todo el mundo y amplificamos su trabajo al reunir a un público diverso para que lo experimente y reflexione sobre él y entable un mayor diálogo.
Nuestra comunidad se encuentra en la intersección de una visión cinematográfica más amplia e inclusiva y el surgimiento de un cine verdaderamente excepcional.
Si las películas son el contenido, Alfama es la forma que marca la pauta de las experiencias que creamos. Una somatización arquitectónica de la intimidad, esta es la escena en la que invitamos a tus películas a hacer su aparición.
Nuestra historia
en 2009 como un proyecto informal para proyectar cine independiente en las recónditas callejuelas de Alfama, proyectado contra sus icónicos muros de piedra.
En los años siguientes, Cinalfama maduró y se convirtió en un evento competitivo de carácter internacional, así como en una referencia cultural en Lisboa.
La naturaleza de los eventos ha cambiado a lo largo de los años, pero el ambiente, las películas y los recintos siguen siendo tan íntimos como siempre.
¿Nuestro hogar
Fundado en 1914, el Grupo Sportivo Adicense es uno de los símbolos más antiguos y auténticos que quedan del verdadero alma de Alfama.
Los cantantes de fado de fama mundial comenzaron su carrera como camareros en esta histórica institución, una institución que sigue haciendo frente a los cambios constantes y a la mala caracterización del paisaje urbano del barrio
Sesiones de proyección
Escondidas en las callejuelas del casco antiguo de Lisboa, Alfama, nuestras proyecciones íntimas tienen lugar en la casa cultural más antigua de la ciudad, el Grupo Sportivo Adicense.
Organizamos tres ediciones de proyecciones de temporada a lo largo del año, para mostrar y premiar a los mejores talentos y películas de cada una de ellas. La entrada es gratuita y todas las películas tienen subtítulos en inglés.
Debido a la pandemia actual y a las restricciones asociadas, hemos decidido organizar la próxima edición de enero de 2024 en línea, poniendo a su disposición una selección de las mejores películas de la temporada. Con el objetivo de volver a tener las proyecciones en directo muy pronto.
8th INTERNATIONAL HALF FESTIVAL 2018
(Haiku Amateur Little Film Festival)
HALF Festival stands for Haiku Amateur Little Film Festival. ‘Haiku’ is a very short form of Japanese poetry, here used to mean any short form of aesthetic creativity. ‘Amateur’ here denotes a creation by a creator whose chief intention in the creation is not financial gain. ‘Little’ here stands for shortness of duration of the film. ‘HALF’ denotes also the stipulated duration of the film which is 5 minutes or ‘half’ the time of a traditional film reel which is 10 minutes. Insight, which is organizing this festival, is a group of creative artists, with base at Palakkad, who believe in the infinite potential of the short film as a medium of communication and aesthetic creativity.
The European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation (the Federation) is a tightly knit network of 22 film festivals from 14 countries, with a global attendance of over 450 000 visitors, making it a vital economic and cultural player on the fantastic film scene.
Con un historial de 13 años, el Festival Internacional de Cine de Talca, se alza como uno de los principales festivales de cortometraje y ópera prima en Chile. Nuestro objetivo es ofrecer una selección de las mejores obras independientes, innovadoras y experimentales de todo el mundo. Por otro lado, contribuir al intercambio de historias locales en este mundo globalizado donde las ideas y la cultura rompen fronteras en beneficio de todos nosotros.
En estos 13 años de Festival se han mostrado más de 800 cortometrajes internacionales, más de 350 largometrajes nacionales y extranjeros, charlas, conversatorios, talleres, más de 300 invitados, y una amplia presencia del público Maulino y Nacional.

Festival Internacional de Cine Córdoba , es un evento para fomentar el cine nacional e internacional que sirve como intercambio cultural, artístico e, industrial.
En la versión 9 del festival, de nuevo convergen productores, directores, distribuidores, críticos de cine, actores y público en torno a las más recientes y destacadas producciones nacionales e internacionales, volviendo a Córdoba y el país un marco único para cumplir con la calidad y la actualidad.
SOBRE EL FESTIVAL
El Rock Horror Film Festival es más que un festival de cine, es un evento que reúne lo mejor del cine de terror, thriller y fantasía con el rock and roll en una gran fiesta para los cinéfilos amantes de la música y el cine. Prepara tu corazón para noches espeluznantes y emocionantes repletas de lo mejor del thriller nacional e internacional y de mucho rock and roll.

El festival también contará con un equipo de profesionales internacionales en paneles, talleres y mesas redondas sobre cine en diferentes áreas, tales como: producción, fotografía, dirección, actuación, maquillaje, banda sonora, entre otras.

Trouble Found Me
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
Blacklight Film + Video Series is currently seeking submissions for the upcoming Trouble Found Me film screening on October 16th, 2016 at Sediment Arts in Richmond, VA.
We are seeking narrative short films that touch on subjects of broken innocence //shattering of the adolescent bubble. Bad Dreams. Bad Ideas. Poor Execution. Themes of the paranormal welcome, given the season!
Submissions must be under 15 minutes in length and all genres are accepted. Work can be traditional or experimental and can be created in any film/video medium (VHS, Super 8, DSLR, etc.). Multiple submissions are accepted.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: October 9th, 2016
We ask that applicants include in their submissions:
-title of the piece
-run time
-year the work was completed
-a data DVD or online link to view the piece (preferred)

El festival de animación Nochedemonos fundado el año 2006, es un referente para la comunidad académica y profesional de la animación nacional. En esta edición cumplimos 13 años, difundiendo la animación latinoamericana para el resto del mundo.
Durante sus nueve versiones se han realizado competencias nacionales, latinoamericanas, estudiantiles, homenajes a animadores destacados, charlas de invitados nacionales e internacionales y talleres dirigidos a estudiantes y entusiastas de la animación.
Esta versión tendrá dos competencias, la competencia latinoamericana de monometrajes y competencia universitaria de cortometrajes latinoamericanos de animación.

World Documentary Awards is the sister festival of the World Film Awards. By establishing this festival, we hope to exhibit the winning international documentary films to the Indonesian and international audience, bolster filmmakers’ assurance to give their best for the film industry, and prevail the film industry internationally.
The festival is opened for professionals and newcomers in the industry globally. Various languages with English subtitles or dubbing are welcome.
Truth well captured in an excellent cinematic motion is an art documentary filmmakers struggle to achieve. The Festival greets all documentary filmmakers to show their talents and passions through their films. We are looking for intelligent, well-produced, smartly edited documentary films from any type of true-life films that engage in interesting story telling, and could be mixed with dramatic situation. Documentary filmmakers have a series of categories entries to enter to, and to widen their chances to win, they are offered with the cost-effective Package-of-Five.

L’associazione culturale La Guarimba ha come obiettivo quello di riportare il cinema alla gente e la gente al cinema. Questa motivazione ci ha portato a riparare un vecchio cinema all’aperto di 938 posti in Calabria; ad organizzare un festival del cortometraggio internazionale con ingresso libero; a creare La Scuola Delle Scimmie in Puglia, un processo di formazione di cinema e di illustrazione indipendente per 45 ragazzi; ci ha fatto creare La Guarimba On Tour dove ogni anno portiamo la nostra selezione di cortometraggi in giro per il mondo; e infine, ad agosto 2015, abbiamo organizzato la prima conferenza europea di Vimeo, il più grande distributore di cinema online diretto.

AFIRMANDO LOS DERECHOS DE LAS MUJERES es un proyecto que surge de la mano de Festival de Málaga, Mabel Lozano (documentalista y colaboradora del Festival), y el Área de Igualdad de Oportunidades del Ayuntamiento de Málaga como herramienta de protesta. Este espacio se crea con el fin de explorar y tratar cada año temas que contribuyan a la concienciación social de los derechos de las mujeres.
Esta sección de Festival de Málaga nace en el año 2008, siendo esta su 19ª edición. El proyecto se concibe con una doble finalidad: informar de las injusticias que todavía en este siglo siguen sufriendo las mujeres por el mero hecho de ser mujeres, y fomentar y apoyar el trabajo cinematográfico creado por mujeres.
En Afirmando los Derechos de las Mujeres hemos podido visibilizar realidades de mujeres en diferentes países del mundo y comprobar cómo, aún hoy, existen numerosos lugares donde la lucha por la vida supone un objetivo diario de muchas mujeres y niñas. Donde las tradiciones y pautas culturales impiden la realización personal y social en igualdad de derecho a las niñas y mujeres respecto a sus congéneres masculinos, etc.
