Live Entertainment, LLC, Russia in co-operation with EVENT FILM, Canada proudly present an annual festival event – International Horror, Action and Fantastic Film Festival & Awards "DROP".
The festival is being annually held in the city of Moscow since the year 2011 and contains 4 events:
- opening screening
- closing awards ceremony
- master-class and Q&A with movie stars
- film festival competition program screenings in cinema theatres
The Awards ceremony takes place in a big concert venue (changing every year) and consists of the show program and the ceremony of granting awards which is divided into the following jury voting categories:
- awards granted to local film distribution companies for the blockbusters screened in cinema theatres of Russia in the reported year;
- awards granted to young directors and producers as competition program. The category is called “Hope for Survival”;
- awards granted to World stars for the contribution to horror genre
The Awards ceremony is always visited and recorded by a large number of mass media.
The Master-class is a so-called Q&A horror convention held in a cinema theatre in a form of a question-answer session between the star guests of the festival and the audience + autograph session. The event usually ends with a premier film screening.
The festival program is a week non-stop screening of new movies in several Moscow cinema theatres. The films-participants of the competition program are being selected by the festival’s jury. Submissions are being analysed and accepted by the festival's organization committee during the whole year.
The festival's schedule usually also contains a pre-party and an after-party arranged for the honored guests and winners.
The TV version of the festival is televised by Tricolor TV platform.
The festival specializes in all sub-genres of horror and action film industry, i.e.: cartoon horror, comedy horror, psychological thriller, trash horror, zombie horror, giallo, slasher, suspense, detective, action, fantasy, sci-fi etc. Starting from the year 2013 the festival also specializes in survival horror video games sphere.
The festival is annually visited in person by World-known honored guests. The Cineminha Project includes free samples of short films aimed at children from public schools (05-12 years), teachers, families and the community in general.
The free shows aims to approach the film and animation in a playful way through the show short films. In addition to shows, the project also does animation workshops and production of audiovisual content, thus arousing children's creativity and interest in audiovisual and other forms of artistic expression.
Sobre el FIDBA – Primer Festival Internacional de Cine Documental Competitivo de Buenos Aires
En las últimas décadas, y contemporáneamente a la irrupción de las nuevas tecnologías que han terminado por digitalizar la mayoría de los procesos del cine, el documental ha conocido un crecimiento notorio y sistemático en todo el mundo. En nuestro país, y desde hace ya más de una década, una producción antes ligada casi únicamente a la ficción ha visto engrosar sus filas con nuevos temas, nuevos abordajes, nuevas geografías, nuevos dilemas.
Es en ese marco que FIDBA se propone como el 1er. Festival Internacional de Cine dedicado a este género en el que películas con la misma afición – en tanto creemos que las formas y los haceres del cine documental son diferentes a los de la ficción- podrán encontrarse y dialogar entre ellas y con su público. Si para el FIDBA el documental es un punto de encuentro, lo es en tanto propone una interpelación a las memorias poco reconocidas, los presentes perturbadores y (nuestros) futuros en suspensión. FIDBA será entonces un acercamiento no sólo entre espectadores, cineastas y pensadores ligados al documental sino también con relación a las posibilidades siempre estimulantes que permiten abrir este espacio a otras manifestaciones fronterizas y heterodoxas encuadradas dentro de lo que llamaríamos la “no ficción” y que nos incitan al diálogo para con las expresiones contemporáneas que trascienden incluso el ámbito de lo cinematográfico.
FIDBA prestará especial atención a aquellos cineastas para quienes el cine está ligado a una forma de investigación y conocimiento del mundo que nos rodea como al retrato de seres humanos cuyas condiciones de vida, en contextos históricos y sociales determinados, permiten interrogarnos sobre las nuestras. Se trata, por eso, de autores que no solo reflexionan sobre la realidad sino también sobre la relación ética y moral que implica filmar al otro.
FIDBA aspira a convertirse en un punto de apoyo para cineastas que buscan ensanchar la percepción de la realidad y para películas que suponen un paso adelante en el esfuerzo por comprenderla y por anticiparse a ella. Así, hará foco sobre films cuya originalidad estética ponga en riesgo no solo una idea del documental sino también un pensamiento sobre el cine mismo y sus posibilidades. Ya que esa focalización supone interrogar el status de lo real frente a la cámara o del film en relación a la realidad, en tanto ésta es inseparable de las mediaciones a partir de las que se presenta.

Terror Film Festival was founded by filmmakers and screenwriters, and we know how difficult the road to success can be. That’s why we screen short films during the festival, but not the feature films. We only screen the feature film "trailers". The reason being that the integrity of your feature film must be kept intact if you expect to get a distribution deal. This way, your project can still be reviewed, you can still compete in the Claw Awards competition, and you can still have the opportunity to sell your film to fans during the festival. But, you do not suffer any interference with any distribution deal offers! Plus, All films and screenplays are reviewed by our selections committee, and all selected films and screenplays then become nominated for the coveted Claw Awards. Who knows, perhaps YOU will win the next Claw Award!

Modive-se es un festival de cortometrajes y largometrajes que se celebra en la ciudad de Campinas, para mostrar películas con temas LGBT.

Ransäter Filmfestival is short film festival that will be held for the 4th time 4-6 april 2019. Our main purpose is to bring quality short to the small village of Ransäter. We think that it´s important that everyone has the possibility to enjoy and experience film close to where you live so you don't need to go all the way to Stockholm-, Gothenburg- or Uppsala Filmfestivals.
The first day will be a workshop held by Kaisa El Ramly (won best short 2018) the workshop will be dedicated to aspiring young actors. The second day we will screen the selected shorts that are in competition. The third day we will have a retrospective with a director who made the difficult transition from short and feature. The price ceremony will also be held on the third day and we end the festival with a live music act
A jury of three will decide one winner and the audience will decide one winner. If you win you need to be present to receive the price money. At least two of the filmmakers that are selected will be invited to this years festival.
The objective of the festival is to arrange a meeting of young filmmakers, to introduce the work of local and international film schools, and to award films chosen for the competition by the international jury. The festival is organized by Filmfest Písek, The Independent Film College in Písek and The Film Academy of Miroslav Ondříček in Písek in cooperation with the town of Písek.

We promote cinematic art as the greatest means for dialog between nations and try to deepen community’s understanding of Russian mentality. We introduce the new world’s independent filmmakers to Russian spectators, show best Russian and world’s new films to distributors and broaden the exchange of experience between Russian, European, Asian and American cinema art schools.
El Festival Internacional de Cine Artístico de Batumi (BIAFF) se estableció en 2006. El fundador y organizador es «Batumi Art-house ARGANI». El BIAFF es un evento anual que se celebra en la segunda quincena de septiembre en Batumi (Georgia).
El festival se centra en el cine de autor. Since 2001, the Nevada City Film Festival (NCFF) has brought top independent film, music and comedy, along with attracting thousands of attendees, international filmmakers, and industry guests to the historic Gold Rush era town of Nevada City, California. Nevada City is known for its sophisticated and supportive arts and cultural scene, and makes screening a film here a positive, encouraging and exciting experience.
NCFF is often referred to as the “Sundance of the Sierra” for its emphasis on fiercely independent cinema that showcases innovative, progressive and exciting new voices in film.
NCFF is known for recognizing and supporting new talent including filmmakers such as Jonathan Krisel (Portlandia), Patrick Brice (CREEP, The Overnight), Academy Award-Winning director Lucy Walker (Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom, The Crash Reel), Academy Award-nominated director and animator Daisy Jacobs (The Bigger Picture), director Kat Candler (Hellion), director Rick Alverson (Entertainment), animator and performance artist Miwa Matryek, director David Zellner (Kumiko, The Treasure Hunter), animator Galen Pehrson, and directors Mark and Jay Duplass, among others.

Past NCFF judges have included award-winning producers and directors, plus writers from The Huffington Post, New York Times, McSweeneys, San Francisco Chronicle, Rolling Stone Magazine, and Pop-Up Magazine.
Professional, student, and amateur filmmakers are invited to submit short and feature length films including documentaries, animation, narrative, and comedy.
The Fine Shortfilm Festival is a non-competitive shortfilm event, hosted in São Paulo, addressed to the works of the new generations of Brazilian filmmakers.
La vigésima versión de la Muestra Cine + Video Indígena, que organiza el Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino, abre su convocatoria en noviembre hasta el 7 de marzo del 2026 a películas de realizadoras y realizadores audiovisuales indígenas y no indígenas, que tengan como tema central los pueblos originarios, especialmente latinoamericanos.
El comité de curaduría de la Muestra, pondrá especial énfasis en seleccionar obras que retraten aspectos culturales y territoriales de estas naciones como: procesos de resguardo de las culturas, protección y defensa de los territorios y el medioambiente, derechos humanos, tensiones identitarias y reflexiones políticas. Además, se destacarán obras habladas en lenguas originarias y que hayan sido realizadas de forma participativa con comunidades indígenas o realizadas a través de procesos de formación de escuelas de cine indígena.
