A TIFF visa criar na Albânia, bem como na região, um centro cultural de cinema alternativo e independente em todo o mundo. A Albânia é um país solar, entusiasta e amigável e, além da “forte concorrência”, o TIFF pretende, ao mesmo tempo, ser um ponto de encontro de culturas, onde as pessoas de Tirana, os convidados e todos aqueles que amam filmes terão uma semana de comunicação em linguagem cinematográfica.
O TIFF visa criar um espaço amigável para artistas de cinema e entusiastas do cinema da Albânia, Europa e do mundo inteiro se reunirem e compartilharem sua paixão e conhecimento vinculados à forma de arte cinematográfica. A intenção do TIFF é trazer cineastas, produtores e distribuidores de todo o mundo para Tirana, na esperança de promover a cooperação futura nesta interessante área cênica. Ao reunir essas vozes distintas e seu trabalho, a TIFF se compromete a apresentar ao público visões alternativas de diversidade extraordinária. “Think Different, Watch Alike” é o slogan e o lema da TIFF.
O TIFF visa demonstrar forte eficiência no desenvolvimento do público (especialmente para o público jovem) implementando atividades antes, durante e depois do evento, incluindo atividades de um ano e viajando para outras cidades com vários parceiros menores e festivais menores no país. A parceria com pequenas organizações e centros juvenis em todo o país para usar as instalações existentes em cada cidade não só dará à TIFF um grande impacto nacional, mas aumentará, por outro lado, o aumento dos valores de pequenos eventos em cada respectiva cidade em que a TIFF estará presente.
O festival recebe anualmente de mais de 120 países ao redor do mundo milhares de inscrições por meio de plataformas on-line que se inscrevem para serem selecionadas. O TIFF é um evento internacional de cinema cujo principal objetivo é ampliar o número de locais e o tempo de exibição de filmes europeus e não europeus de todos os gêneros e durações na Albânia, bem como é considerado um evento para desenvolver novos públicos em todo o país, combinando exibições de filmes com debates públicos e debates temáticos abordando novas e crescentes audiências cinematográficas e focando também na alfabetização cinematográfica.
O programa diário do TIFF combina mais de 200 estreias de longas-metragens e curtas-metragens em competição em todos os formatos e gêneros: ficção, documentário, animação, arte experimental e videoarte. Aberto a qualquer cineasta de todo o mundo, o TIFF apresenta novos trabalhos cinematográficos de diretores consagrados com reputação internacional, bem como filmes de estudantes talentosos e jovens artistas.

4. CONCURSO DE ROTEIRO
Consiste na aplicação de roteiros originais de curtas-metragens animados e de ação ao vivo e outros roteiros curtos de todos os gêneros (máx. 20 páginas).
A referida competição não teve como objetivo avaliar apenas o melhor roteiro, mas avaliar, de nossos parceiros, produtores e distribuidores, o melhor e possível roteiro a ser produzido por eles e com maiores chances de ser distribuído com sucesso nos festivais internacionais de curtas-metragens mais populares.
B. PROGRAMA ESPECIAL E EXIBIÇÕES
Além do programa de competição, o TIFF reserva um grande espaço para os programas e exibições especiais.
1. FOCUS é um programa especial, baseado em homenagem ou homenagem ao autor do cinema e/ou à filmografia de um determinado país.
2. O Retrospectiff e o TIFF Classics trazem para o novo público os autores nacionais ou internacionais mais proeminentes da história do cinema.
3. IMAGINE SUA VIDA, CRIE O FUTURO
O TIFF continuará a ter um grande espaço para o programa especial KiDS, um programa exclusivo para crianças de 5 a 15 anos, em média. 4. REFLETING ALBANIA é o programa mais antigo do festival, dedicado aos cineastas estrangeiros que produziram seus filmes na Albânia ou em território de língua albanesa. FestifFal é um programa especial com filmes selecionados por parceiros do festival.

C. NOVOS RECURSOS — EXIBIÇÕES PARALELAS
O FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINEMA DE TIRANA tem o prazer de anunciar quatro serviços principais disponíveis para os candidatos. Desde a sua criação em 2003, a TIFF recebeu mais de 40.000 curtas-metragens e longas-metragens de mais de 120 países ao redor do mundo. De todas essas inscrições, mais de 200 filmes podem ser escolhidos a cada ano para o programa da competição. Com esses quatro novos serviços, o TIFF oferece a oportunidade de muitos filmes serem exibidos de maneiras alternativas (TV, online, mercado, programas especiais) em um público mais amplo e especialistas.

A TIFF atuará como embaixadora dos filmes inscritos e viajará com uma seleção para outras cidades albanesas durante o ano. O TIFF também proporá exibições especiais para outros festivais regionais de acordo com um assunto ou tema específico de cada festival colaborativo.
• Biblioteca online TIFF
A TIFF oferece a apresentação on-line de cada filme, em uma página dedicada, como parte de uma biblioteca de filmes, com todas as informações relacionadas e com a possibilidade de receber comentários do público internacional da Internet e da indústria. A exibição de filmes está aberta a qualquer pessoa sem custos. Os filmes estarão disponíveis para exibição na biblioteca de filmes pelo tempo que o diretor/produtor desejar.
• Área do mercado TIFF
A TIFF criará uma área de mercado, onde potenciais compradores poderão assistir a todos os filmes e fazer sua seleção. A TIFF também atuará como promotora e distribuidora de festivais. Em caso de contrato financeiro com um distribuidor, a TIFF receberá uma taxa de 5%.

A Associação do Festival de Cinema de Ayerbe lança esta segunda etapa do “Festival Internacional de Curtas-Metragens Villa de Ayerbe”.
Desde a 19ª edição, com novos membros na organização, queremos dar um grande impulso ao festival. Além da competição internacional, criamos uma nova seção dedicada à Ciência e Pesquisa para dar maior visibilidade ao evento e, a partir desta edição, os prêmios agora são chamados de “Prêmios CAJAL”.
Queremos continuar com a ideia de colaboração com cidades vizinhas.

Women in Film
Women play an important role in filmmaking and there are many talents out there and to celebrate Women in Film we have two categories. One programme is a focus solely on Women directors, the second programme category will focus the work of women practitioners in the roles of writers, actresses, producers and Directors of Cinematography but please note the film lead roles must be female led. If you have a film that has a strong female led role or strong female writer etc and you want to be considered for this sectin of the festival please submit to the Women Practitioners category. Film Directors should submit to the Women in Film (directors category).
General Information.
Established in 1995 the festival is now in it's 16th International Shorts edition. Kinofilm has a unique reputation for showcasing the best short films from around the world, whilst being renowned for seeking out diverse, challenging and groundbreaking new films. We welcome filmmakers that are pushing the boundaries of the short film art form. The festival maintains a high standard with many European & International award-winning shorts featured in the Festival. It includes special programmes in North West Shorts (UK), British New Wave, Euro Cine, International Panorama, Kino Exposed (student and youth shorts), low/no budget shorts, Animation and various themed programmes, giving new and emerging filmmakers the opportunity to have their work screened alongside that of critically acclaimed, established short filmmakers.
Please note for 2019, the festival will move dates to February 2020. We will further welcome short films and animations from Eastern Europe as we extend the Polish festival to include more Baltic countries. This year we welcome films for this section from Romania and Russia.
As part of out 16th anniversary we are introducing a features section called Transitions for those short filmmakers that have successfully made the transition from short film to feature. This section is for previous entrants of Kinofilm Festival and can only be entered if you have previously had a short film at Kinofilm Festival. You must provide the name of the short film and year of the festival it was screened in advance of submitting..
All short films should have been completed since January 2018 to present and be no longer than 20 mins (accept documentaries which can be up to 23 mins including credits). PLEASE NOTE FILMS SHOULD NOT BE ONLINE FOR PUBLIC VIEWING. ANY FILMS THAT ARE SEEN TO BE IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN WILL FACE DISQUALIFICATION.
WE ARE OFFERING STUDENTS (world wide) , GREATER MANCHESTER FILMMAKERS, Youths and community groups, Eastern European Filmmakers and Alumni Filmmakers 20% OF ALL SUBMISSION FEES (please see offers at the top of this entry). The discount is automatically applied when you submit your film to the relevant sections, entry fees start at just $10.00 Please note PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY MUST BE SHOWN in all these categories in advance of submitting the film, you will then receive a code to submit your film.
IRANIAN Filmmakers can submit for free (see above details).
Please note, if your film is selected for screening in one of the cinema screenings you must be able to provide either a DCP or high-quality Bluray of your film. Please contact us if any issues with this and we will try to resolve it by showing the film in one of the other programmes not requiring either of these formats. If it playing in one of our other venues then we will require a digital version, details supplied if your film is accepted.
REFUNDS GIVEN ONLY IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES: Please note if you make a genuine mistake and submit your film to us not realising that it does not fit all of the criteria, or you have to withdraw it for other reasons, we will refund your fee if the request is made only within the first two weeks from the date of submission. Films withdrawn later for other reasons such as you wish to withdraw it as your film has been accepted in another festival that requires premier status, will not receive a refund. (Please note that any refunds will be after FFW (8%) and PP (3.5%) commission fees already deducted from your fee, you will only be refunded the net amount that the festival receives).
