CineCapsule, organize a special event for all film addicts! The event takes place at L'espace Voltaire in the 11th arrondissement of Paris and offers a series of performances in collaboration with the artists and designers of the Espace Voltaire. The objective is to highlight video productions that follow an imposed theme. We will find three themes, different each quarter:

The Festival started in 2009. It emerged from the desire of valuing an important chapter of local and worldwide cinematography and from the necessity of bringing to public debate those topics with an impact able to overcome the daily transience.
An event during which histories and movies give birth to thoughts and passions, provide information and create feelings, raise questions and argue possible answers. A relaxing and vivid happening, which mixes in an attractive manner the indispensable academic rigor and the compulsory sense of humor. This way, a rather unique event for the Romanian cultural market was born! An event able to raise thoughts and stir passions, to provide information and generate emotions, to rask questions and search for answers.
The 13th edition of FFIR will take place between 20 and 29 August 2021 in Rasnov (Romania).

Entrants may submit as many films as they see fit, as long as they are produced between 2021 and 2023.
All films shorter than 20 minutes will be accepted, regardless of their original film or video shooting format.
Films which are not spoken in Spanish must be presented with subtitles in Spanish.
Films' theme is free.
Live action fiction, animation, experimental and documentary films can be submitted.

The Zaragoza Film Festival, founded in 1995 to create a cinematic activity in the city. At first his main title was the Young Filmmakers. Since 2007 its official name became the Zaragoza Film Festival.

Since its inception in 2006 ÉCU has forged a path for independent film and the scope of its presence has grown to a global scale with the festival often being referenced as the European equivalent of Sundance, an honour that we don’t take lightly.
Spring is not only a fabulous time for Paris but an exciting time for ÉCU because that is when we showcase roughly around 100 of the World’s very best independent films. Although ÉCU emphasises European talent, it also recognises the genius of international filmmakers with several categories allocated to non-European films.
The next ÉCU, the 19th edition, will take place on the 19th, 20th and 21st of April, 2024 in Paris, France.
ÉCU isn’t just all about screening an amazing slate of films over its three-day event in Paris in April. There are also professional workshops led by experts in the industry, Q&A’s held with the attending filmmakers after every screening session and a chance to network with fellow filmmakers, producers, agents, industry representatives, prospective film buyers and, of course, the cinema-loving public. At ÉCU, there is a continual dialogue celebrating and critiquing the world’s best indie cinema of today.
Though ÉCU’s main event IS the three-day festival in Paris each spring, there is even more! Thanks to our over 50 partner festivals, partner organizations, film centres and film commissions, ÉCU’s goes on an annual world tour called ÉCU-On-The-Road, which gives award-winning films (as well as many of the Official Selection films) the opportunity to have their films screened to a broader, global audience. ÉCU-On-The-Road showcased films in over 80 countries around the globe in 2016 - 2023 at special ÉCU mini-festivals, partner festivals, cultural institutions and film schools, including an amazing seven day special festival in São Paulo, Brazil. The event was made possible through the support of Caixa Cultural, São Paulo and was a huge success. Mondi Lontani Film Festival in its last screenings saw more than 600 people attending in the main square of the city plus an uncountable number of passerbys on the most populated street of the city during the summer nights.
Our goal is to bring works of art from distant worlds to the heart of Cilento, showing different cultures. We believe in artistic and cultural dissemination as an instrument of education and emancipation of people. We believe that showing distant worlds is the best way to bring everyone closer.
We’re developing a bigger fourth edition thanks to the collaboration with the institutions, planning to show a larger number of quality films in a three-days long event, with a new hybrid format both online and offline:
We are hosting four seasonal calls that will end with an online screening on our platform, selected by our artistic director. The winning films will qualify for the outdoor screening in the main square of San Giovanni a Piro in the summer of 2022 and will compete for the victory of the various prizes, including the cash prize.

The topic of the work will be the violence of gender, in any of its manifestations, its prevention and sensitization against it, being able to present documentaries and short films of plot fiction. The jury will have special consideration for those works that address this issue by focusing on the youth world.
Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre (BARS) is an international film festival devoted to the genres of HORROR, science fiction and fantasy.
Born in 2000 to put focus on independent genre film, and since 2004 in the form of a competitive festival.
The 14th version of the Festival has as its central theme ¨Community Cinema as a generator of Social Change and Progress¨, the jury prioritizes content that has this focus, however the reception of audiovisual pieces is not closed exclusively to said theme, for Therefore, other types of content will be widely accepted.
¨Community cinema is not only an art form, but also a powerful tool to promote fundamental values of a progressive society, such as gender equality, social justice and citizen participation. Mecal Pro, the Barcelona International Short and Animation Film Festival, will celebrate its 26th edition. The long history of MECAL PRO has consolidated it as one of the most important short film festivals in Europe and the world, thus receiving the support of local, national and international institutions. We have screened in 2023 more than 300 short films in 29 sections that we program.
Mecal is strongly committed to promoting the exhibition and dissemination of audiovisual creations in the short format, not only with the public, but also in having creators and distributors meet through different activities. Mecal is also devoted to foster emerging talent, by holding events and awards specially aimed at young creators. In this sense, it also works as a short film dissemination network, organising screenings both at a national and an international level, collaborating with festivals, embassies, and institutions around the world.
