An A+ wins a Special Jury Award and is considered for the Grand Remi! An A score wins a Platinum Remi, an A- wins a Gold, a B+ wins a Silver and a B wins a Bronze Remi. No Awards are made below a B level score. With more than 4,750 category entries, only about 10-15% actually win a Remi Award, but we feel it is the best possible way to run a festival awards system!

The 55th Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival continues its totally dedicated Independent Film screening format for the upcoming April 20-24, 2022 unspooling. WorldFest will screen just 60-80 feature film premieres and over 130 Shorts with a total and absolute emphasis on the American and International Independent feature film and a continuing annual spotlight on award-winning short films and documentary films. Entries Officially Open Aug. 15, 2021. The EarlyBird Entry Deadline is Nov. 15th 2021 – A Mail-By/Enter By/Ship-By Deadline! Entries do not have to arrive by this deadline. The Main Entry Deadline is December 15, 2021. The Late Entry Deadline is Jan 15th 2022!
WorldFest Artistic and Program Director, Kathleen Haney, stated, “We are fiercely dedicated to the Indie Feature and Short Film and look for a quality selection of individual films to maintain a smaller, yet effective program rather than an overly large and unwieldy slate of 150-300 films. The RKDS FILM FEST was created to bring awareness to the Film Industry in South Georgia. RKDS Entertainment & Media, LLC owners and Filmmakers, Roy Kirkland and Doug Sebastian, have been working diligently to build the film industry in Valdosta, GA. This will be the 2nd annual RKDS Film Festival! Chosen films will be featured and shown on a huge screen in a 1200 cushioned seat historic auditorium. Filmmakers will also have the opportunity to speak, have Q & A with the media and audience during the event in the huge 5,000 s/f multipurpose room. Cinema has always been and will always be a way in which human rights violations can be exposed and denounced. For that, Amnesty International France is pleased to announce the opening of submissions f edition of its annual cinema festival “Au Cinéma pour les droits humains” (To Cinema for Human Rights), which will take place in March 2019. The festival takes place each year in different cities of the south of France and with last year’s edition having had more than 3800 members at the audience. Therefore, we are searching for different entries for our festival. We are searching for films that touch on one or several human rights issues that are connected to any of our campaigns, such as the liberty of expression, women’s rights, impunity, and discriminations amongst other things.

Le Festival international du film fantastique et d'horreur de Tàrrega - Galacticat, qui se tient chaque année depuis 2014, est le premier et unique festival de films fantastiques et d'horreur sur le territoire de Lleida. Il s'adresse à tous les cinéphiles en général et aux amateurs de science-fiction et de terreur en particulier, avec une vocation clairement divulgative. Le Galacticat est né d'une initiative visant à redonner au grand public les classiques universels de la science-fiction et à approfondir cette culture qui a façonné l'univers du cinéma depuis sa création. Au fil des ans, le Galacticat s'est développé, impliquant de plus en plus les citoyens dans ce festival du film, augmentant progressivement les activités programmées, les fêtes, les concerts, les projections, la participation du public, les activités de l'industrie et la réponse de l'industrie cinématographique.
Rural FilmFest, member of Green Film Network (GFN) and Pantalla Federation, is an international itinerant film festival, which offers a current overview of international documentary film, fiction and animation in a short, medium and long format related to the rural world, ecology, sustainability and natural and cultural resources. Rural FilmFest is not a common film festival, it is a unique and unrepeatable event. It is a summer camp, with excursions, multi-adventure, geocaching awards ceremony (Yes, you read that right. As a filmmaker you will have to find your trophy at the closing gala via GPS coordinates), international coexistence, dance, party and lifelong friendships. L'Equinale®
L'Equinale® est un festival international de films et de films pour chevaux, dont les chevaux jouent un rôle important.
L'Equinale® est un événement qui se déroule sur quatre jours.
Des films de divertissement (films pour adultes et enfants), des documentaires, des publicités, de la musique et des films éducatifs seront projetés.
Il y aura également des conférences sur les chevaux qui attireront certainement l'intérêt des jeunes et des vieux fans de chevaux.
Le point culminant de cet événement est la remise de prix aux films des différentes catégories.
Les films seront récompensés par un jury mixte. Le jury est composé de personnes exaltées hors de la scène de l'équitation.
Les films pour enfants et jeunes seront évalués par un jury distinct.
En outre, deux prix publics seront décernés.
La grande soirée cinématographique de samedi, au cours de laquelle les films seront récompensés, est un événement social.
Pour compléter cet événement, une petite foire équestre exclusive et une exposition de chevaux vous invite à vous promener. La mode, l'art, l'intérieur, les spécialités culinaires, y compris les produits pour chevaux et les présentations, devraient réduire le temps d'attente entre les films.

IN THE PALACE est un point de rencontre culturel de l'industrie cinématographique, des artistes, des étudiants, des établissements d'enseignement et du grand public, qui donne accès aux dernières tendances, développements et apprentissage dans les arts et la culture à travers des projections, des formations et des échanges interdisciplinaires.
L'ISFFI est organisée par une organisation caritative à but non lucratif - Vikas India Trust, dont la mission est de cultiver et de promouvoir l'art et la science du cinéma par l'éducation et la participation du public.
Le directeur de l'ISFFI étant lui-même cinéaste et directeur de la plus ancienne association de films indiens (IMPPA) depuis 2010 Indian Motion Picture Producers Association a pris l'initiative avec le groupe de cinéastes passionnés.
C'est une tentative très sincère et humble d'ajouter notre expertise en matière de réalisation et de distribution de films pour fournir une autre plateforme unique aux cinéastes de la jeune génération.

Da Bounce Urban Film Festival is the Netherlands first urban film festival. With its variety in new releases, classics, narrative, features, shorts and documentaries, the events celebrates the cinematic diversity. DBUFF also organizes Q&A's, panel discussions, workshops and talent development.
This submission segment is specifically for novices filmmakers with medium or low budgets, film made by and/or about people of African descent (Urban), filmmaker needn’t be of African descent. However the lead actor/actress must be of African descent or a predominantly black cast. DBUFF offers a fantastic opportunity for undiscovered filmmakers from all over the globe to showcase their Short Urban Film/Documentary at “DBUFF Talent Award”. However only Dutch participants are eligible for an award & prizes.
DBUFF offers a platform to initiatives that stimulate the landscape of urban film. We build bridges, stimulate growth and offer insights into the great potential within the urban film segment. Aside from our annual festival, our film related activities include distribution, marketing, PR and events. Last year 5.000+ people from both the industry and the public attended DBUFF. The 5th Annual Da Bounce Urban Film Festival will take place in Theater Pathé Arena in Amsterdam, November 1-4, 2018.
