The #MoreofPLUS Film Festival is an initiative of PLUS Positive a nonprofit organization for plus size men women and teens. The primary focus of the festival is to showcase more plus size talent on screen. At the core of this festival is the requirement that each entry must utilize plus size men (size 2x and up) and/or women (size 12 and up) as leading characters in their films. The selected finalists will be showcased during PLUS PosiCon Sept 21-23 in Atlanta

The Sandalia Sustainability Film Festival has an important role in raising people's awareness of sustainability issues through cinematographic works, offering an opportunity to exchange ideas with people from all over the world, thus promoting values, spreading knowledge and techniques. , with the aim of inducing virtuous behavior, for a sustainable present and future. We assume that the first step for the awakening of consciences is to be able to access the right information, meaning the information purified by political, economic and speculative interests, the one that also reveals the truths that are often hidden.
We think that the audio-visual medium is a very effective means to inform with emotion, to suggest new possible existential models, to envisage new solutions to problems, to connect people from all over the planet, in order to safeguard Mother Earth and for a present and a future that is dignified and happily livable for everyone.
The Festival takes place in Sardinia, and in this edition it will take place, always in itinerant form, between the end of July and the beginning of October, also involving the Schools. In the various stages will be screened all the films in competition and even some out of competition, and will propose workshops, meetings with directors, seminars, conferences, shows, markets, related to the cinema and sustainability.Art.2 THEMES
All sustainability issues are allowed, at the discretion of the proposer; it will then be the pre-selection commission to assess whether the subject of the proposed film is themed, and to assess the presence of a minimum of technical-artistic requisites to be admitted to the Competition.
The film can be a denunciation, thus showing situations that do not respect the principles of sustainability, or the enhancement of sustainable practices. Both types of films are important and allowed, as the first step towards a more sustainable world is to understand in depth all the aspects resulting from what human beings do, as individuals and as groups, and in many cases this means showing unsustainable situations, and even situations that, although they seem sustainable, are not, giving all the information necessary to make them understand why they are not.
The following list shows as an example some of the areas on which the subject of the proposed film may relate: some areas concern unsustainable practices, others are virtuous models of sustainability, and still others are generic areas in which both unsustainable and practical practices can be implemented sustainable. As already mentioned, we believe that showing unsustainable choices and actions - highlighting why they are not - is one of the steps to get to put into practice, and to demand that sustainable choices and actions be put into practice.

Art.3 PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WORKS
Individuals or groups of people of any age and nationality can participate.
The author can use a pseudonym or an artistic name in the titles of the work, while in all the documents sent he will necessarily have to write the personal name, indicating in brackets the pseudonym or the name of the art used.
The works admitted to the Competition, without limits of duration, are:

The “Shaan-e-awadh International Film Festival” is promoted by “Splash Etcetra” and organized by “Awadh Art Society”.
Splash Etcetra, a software production company and advertising firm, which was established by some professionals of the Indian Film and Television industry in 2007.
Awadh Art Society, the organizer of “Shaan-e-awadh International Film Festival (SAIFF), is a Non Government Organization, which is purely dedicated towards the artist, performer, musicians, writers, directors and other known and unknown form of art to promote Indian Art & Culture in India and Abroad.
Festival Invites all film makers, in INTERNATIONAL (WORLD CINEMA) SECTION; INDIAN SECTION (FEATURE FILMS) and THEME ORIENTED SECTION; SHAAN-E-AWADH SECTION; COMPETITION SECTION.
The festival aims to showcase the best of the latest World and Indian Cinema through this competition section. To encourage filmmakers, Festival also aims to present innovative works done by various film makers.

Afortunadamente la sensibilidad de la sociedad de hoy hacia los animales está cambiando para mejor. Ya son muchas las personas que no ven los animales únicamente como un producto del que se abastecen o del que disfrutan, sino como seres vivos con una naturaleza propia y por tanto unos derechos a respetar.
Hay cada día más conciencia de que una sociedad próspera y digna no debe permitir ningún tipo de violencia, tampoco contra los animales.
Las personas que conviven con animales saben desde hace tiempo, lo que se ha constatado en varios estudios: "los animales tienen emociones y experimentan placer, miedo, estrés, ansiedad, dolor o felicidad". La actual Ley de protección de los animales, sensible a ello, los define como seres vivientes, dotados de sensibilidad física y psíquica y también de movimiento voluntario, a los que nadie ha de provocar sufrimiento o malos tratos o causarles estados de ansiedad o miedo.
En esta legislatura el Ajuntament de Sabadell, a través de la Concejalía de Bienestar Animal, ha impulsado una decidida línea política para garantizar la protección y el bienestar de los animales. Para empezar, el Ajuntament en Pleno declaró "Sabadell libre de maltrato animal" en septiembre de 2015 y, entre otras acciones que lleva a cabo, muchas de ellas en colaboración con las entidades animalistas de la ciudad, ahora mismo está trabajando en una Ordenanza de bienestar animal que no sólo recogerá las obligaciones de los propietarios, sino también los derechos y obligaciones de todos los ciudadanos hacia los animales.
Otra línea de trabajo del Ajuntament es la promoción de la formación, la difusión y el apoyo a la producción audiovisual en el territorio, atendiendo a la múltiple vertiente de obra de creación y cultural, herramienta comunicativa, actividad económica y de promoción de la ciudad que tienen las producciones audiovisuales.
Uniendo estos dos objetivos, el Ayuntamiento de Sabadell impulsa la primera Muestra Internacional de Cine Animal de Sabadell, diseñada con la intención de promover y reconocer las producciones de cine documental de calidad, al tiempo que contribuir a un cambio cultural a favor del bienestar, respeto , conciencia y responsabilidad hacia los animales.
Y en el marco de esta Muestra se impulsa este concurso de cortos audiovisuales relacionados con el ámbito animal, y que deben servir para reconocer el talento creativo, facilitar el acceso de la ciudadanía a producciones de calidad y contribuir a construir conciencia y responsabilidad sobre el bienestar y los derechos de los animales.

Afortunadament la sensibilitat de la societat d’avui cap els animals està canviant cap a millor. Ja són moltes les persones que no veuen els animals únicament com un producte del que s’abasteixen o del que en gaudeixen, sinó com éssers vius amb una naturalesa pròpia i per tant uns drets a respectar.
Hi ha cada dia més consciència de que una societat pròspera i digna no ha de permetre cap tipus de violència, tampoc contra els animals.
Les persones que conviuen amb animals saben des de fa temps, el que s’ha constatat en diversos estudis: “els animals tenen emocions i experimenten plaer, por, estrès, ansietat, dolor o felicitat”. L’actual Llei de protecció dels animals, sensible a això, els defineix com essers vivents, dotats de sensibilitat física i psíquica i també de moviment voluntari, als quals ningú ha de provocar sofriment o maltractaments o causar-los estats d’ansietat o por.
En aquesta legislatura l’Ajuntament de Sabadell, a través de la Regidoria de Benestar Animal, ha impulsat una decidida línia política per garantir la protecció i el benestar dels animals. Per començar, l’Ajuntament en Ple va declarar “Sabadell lliure de maltractament animal” el mes de setembre de 2015 i, entre d’altres accions que porta a terme, moltes d’elles en col·laboració amb les entitats animalistes de la ciutat, ara mateix està treballant en una Ordenança de benestar animal que no només recollirà les obligació dels propietaris, sinó també els drets i obligacions de tots els ciutadans i ciutadanes cap els animals.
Una altra línia de treball de l’Ajuntament és la promoció de la formació, la difusió i el suport a la producció audiovisual al territori, atenent a la múltiple vessant d’obra de creació i cultural, eina comunicativa, activitat econòmica i de promoció de la ciutat que tenen les produccions audiovisuals.
Unint aquests dos objectius, l’Ajuntament de Sabadell impulsa la primera Mostra Internacional de Cinema Animal de Sabadell, dissenyada amb la intenció de promoure i reconèixer les produccions de cinema documental de qualitat, i alhora contribuir a un canvi cultural a favor del benestar, respecte, consciència i responsabilitat cap als animals.
I en el marc d’aquesta Mostra s’impulsa aquest concurs de curts audiovisuals relacionats amb l’àmbit animal, i que han de servir per reconèixer el talent creatiu, facilitar l’accés de la ciutadania a produccions de qualitat i contribuir a construir consciència i responsabilitat sobre el benestar i els drets dels animals.

La producción y desarrollo en Chile lo realiza el equipo de SurDocs, quienes durante 12 años realizaron un festival de cine documental en Puerto Varas.

en 2015 como sección paralela dentro del

emblemático festival tres de los programadores

el festival a Gijón. Es en la segunda edición,
la de 2016, donde el festival se traslada a los
centros municipales de la ciudad para desarrollar un festival con la mirada puesta en el cortometraje y en la música. Desde entonces

Sección Asturias) Y a las secciones de muestra
(Panorama Asturias y Mirada FICX) se han

There have been lots of stories of creative innovations and solutions devised to tackle challenges and issues in Education.
EduDoc: Stories of Education is an International Short Film Competition by Centre for Civil Society (CCS) where we want to put Challenges, innovations and celebrations in the spotlight. The main objectives are:

La 4º MUESTRA DE CINE QUEER es un reconocimiento anual no competitivo creado por la Cineteca Pública de Santander, para celebrar y destacar la obra de los y las profesionales del cine nacional e internacional, que visibilicen un carácter estético-político desde las diversidades sexuales y de género, con obras situadas al margen de los circuitos comerciales de exhibición, que generen encuentros culturales y sociales, consolidando procesos de organización y autorepresentación.
Todo cine es de autor. Cada película es dispositivo y el género ha acabado. La relación sexualidad-género-cuerpo nos envuelve de inagotables preguntas y reflexiones. Es por ello que en esta cuarta edición adoptamos la propuesta de explorar las diferentes posibilidades que ofrece esa relación en el ámbito audiovisual. #GENDERisOVER
