Born in the creative brains of Film, TV and Production and Marketing professionals, the originally US based Views of the World Festival’s primary goal is to present films, scripts & film scores which have the power to raise awareness about vital social issues and inspiring audiences to take positive action as stated in our Mission Statement.
The beautiful city of Montréal will be the home of the Views of the World Film and Music Festival. In 2018, it will be from September 19th to 23rd.
From World Premiere to Awards ceremonies, from screenings to fruitful networking, from fierce competitions driven by international jurors to bright keynote speakers, opportunities to fulfill your needs to better understand and be part of the ultimate trends in movies making are numerous.
By participating in the Views of the World Festival, all attendees will get exposure to the world of scriptwriting, feature films and writing music for scores on an international level, enjoying a forum to share knowledge, experience and talents with peers as well as an opportunity to network with international professional movers and shakers.
A market is set to take place during the Festival including Master-classes and conferences.
Sofia Independent FIlm Festival (So Independent) is the first and most exciting American independent film festival in South East Europe. The Festival’s goal is to present films that don't usually reach the screens in Bulgaria and surrounding regions, and to show a side of American cinema that the audience cannot find in mainstream production. In it's 8th edition, the festival invites new works from american and international independent filmmakers. The festival showcases between 50 and 80 premieres in ten days, followed by exciting parties in the heart of the City of Sofia which was named "Creative City of Film" by UNESCO in 2016.
Along with screenings, there are seminars, workshops and parties to allow everyone the chance to share our passion for film. In the supporting event "So Academy" you will find panels and workshops lead by some of the best in our industry: Kenneth Turan, Per Saari, Loren Hammonds, Kalina Ivanov, Prof. Jerry Carlson,James Solomon, Vladimir Todorov had been our guests among others.
So Independent is all about cutting edge art and innovation - the sidebars include films in the following categories: VR and AR, Sport Films, Art and Style, Architecture.

Sofia Independent Film Festival has it's New York City edition in the Fall featuring Bulgarian and South East European Films and projects in development during IFP's Independent Film Week.
It is a festival of "silent" short films (no audible dialogue),
open to professionals and amateurs.
It is a non-profit project,
with the support of public institutions, social organizations and private sponsors who offer products or services as prizes of the festival.

MISSION
Le Master of Art Film Festival est un événement culturel unique et le seul festival international de films documentaires sur l'art en Europe de l'Est. Il se déroule en Bulgarie — Sofia, Plovdiv et Varna.
Le festival se concentre sur différentes approches artistiques de l'art.
Son programme est dédié au cinéma documentaire qui représente la vision artistique à la fois sur l'histoire de l'art, les formes d'art contemporain et pour célébrer la diversité multiculturelle de notre époque.
Notre objectif est de montrer des documentaires qui manifestent les talents et le processus créatif dans les catégories suivantes : architecture, design et mode, art et pouvoir, art contemporain, art culinaire, beaux-arts, photographie, littérature, musique et danse, théâtre et cinéma.
Les documentaires produits et sortis après le 1er janvier 2020 sont éligibles à la compétition du Master of Art Film Festival. Le festival accorde également une attention particulière aux tendances modernes de l'art vidéo et de la publicité.
La mission du Master of Art Film Festival est de créer une plateforme alternative à la culture de masse. Nous voulons créer une opportunité et contribuer au dialogue et à la coopération entre artistes. Le festival est le plus grand forum d'Europe de l'Est pour les jeunes réalisateurs de documentaires tentés de raconter des histoires inspirantes sur l'art.
Le Master of Art Film Festival est organisé par Spotlight Production Company, le Palais national de la culture et la Fondation « Master of Art » avec le soutien financier de la municipalité de Sofia, d'AURUBIS BULGARIE, du Centre national du cinéma bulgare, etc.
Les fonds du festival sont récoltés par des frais de participation, des subventions financières, des dons, des commandites et des billets.
La 8e édition du festival se déroulera sous une forme hybride - simuntaneusly online et avec projection dans les cinémas d'art :

WHAT ARE THE ISSUES OF THE FESTIVAL? The participants' short films should cover one of the following issues:
Community Health. The short film should last a maximum of 6 minutes, excluding the official start and end cover titles.
Short films with direct or indirect advertising from any sponsor, product or service will be rejected.
The first 3 seconds must contain the official competition cover title, and then the title cover, the title and director of the short film.

Year 4 is on the way! The film industry of Philadelphia has come together to make this city an active spot for HORROR shorts from around the world to be screened and celebrated. Philadelphia has one HUGE thirst for horror flicks and Average Superstar Films has stepped up and lead the way for this massive event. This event truly gives both local and international filmmakers their due. It is held at the world famous Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia. With a $60,000 sound system, and a FULL screen, the theater seats up to 600 movie-goers. This years event will run 10 hours, with a big networking party going on in the lobby area. News outlets and press are active at this event. Celebrities and horror movie Icons from all walks of life have shown up at this event. Last year we members of The Howard Stern Show on hand. Along with Lloyd Kaufman and The Angry Video Game Nerd. We are only accepting online screeners. There are a variety of ways to submit your screener to us (YouTube, Vimeo (FAVORED) , or through one of the online submission services.). This will SAVE YOU MONEY! These events are 21 and up.

Dallas Videofest est l'événement majeur présenté par la Video Association of Dallas, qui se consacre à promouvoir une compréhension de la vidéo comme un moyen créatif et une force culturelle dans notre société, et à soutenir et faire progresser le travail des artistes du Texas travaillant dans la vidéo et les arts électroniques. FIDIC 2017. V COCOA INTERNATIONAL INDEPENDENT DANCE FESTIVAL
FIDIC is a biannual international independent festival that gathers international, regional and local artists in a dance event that seeks to promote artistic creation and production, research, support and exchange among colleagues. It is also an occasion to train the audience through reflection and debate meetings that are open to general public.
The festival will take place in the City of Buenos Aires from September 7th to 17th, and its program will feature both national and international shows, urban interventions, and research and exchange meetings. It will also offer spaces for collaborative productions between artists that are coming from different regions and seeking cultural exchange.
FIDIC has many different sections: international, regional and local shows that will take place both at conventional and unconventional settings, performances, spaces to reflect, meetings with producer artists, screen dance, video projections and clinics. In this edition, there will also be place for artists who address movement from a different perspective to show their work. In addition, the festival schedule includes an analysis exercise developed by an interdisciplinary team.
Screen Dance Section – Third Edition Registration is now open: June 9th to July 7th
Submissions after the given deadline will not be considered.
The third edition of the International Screen Dance Exhibition aims to disseminate and promote these expressions, fostering their production in Argentina and around the world.
Artists from any nationality are allowed to participate.
The choosing of the topic is free and authors can submit as many short films as they wish. If the screen dance video submitted is in any language other than Spanish, subtitles in Spanish must be included.
Video runtime limit: 15 minutes.
Call for entries and selection process
Call for entries includes the following categories:
• Screen dance as an artistic expression (with performers or animated)
• Videoclips developed from the choreographic movement
• Screen dance documentary
Registration of plays will not be considered.
Submission process:

Selection process is not competitive. Videos will be assessed by a judging panel. Results will be published on our website and social networks. Authors whose videos were selected will receive an e-mail with the proper information.
All selected videos will be included in the Festival’s video library and may be presented at different exhibitions organized during the year with exclusive cultural and or educational (not commercial) purposes.
Important: If the video is accepted, it will have to be shared through Dropbox or WeTransfer in .MOV or .MP4 h264 format, along with two pictures in high resolution and the signed statement.

Agreement
2017 Cocoa International Festival requests, together with the submission of the video for its possible inclusion in the exhibition, the author’s agreement with the terms of the Festival. It also requests the author’s agreement to reproduce and exhibit their creation/s during any of the Festival’s activities, such as exhibitions, catalogues, videos, brochures and other promotional action regarding the Festival exclusively. The artist takes all the responsibility before third parties for any kind of claim regarding the originality or authorship of the submitted project/s.

EDITA est un festival de courts métrages pour la transformation sociale qui vise, par le biais de la création audiovisuelle, à accroître la capacité critique, à impliquer les citoyens dans la promotion des droits et à faire en sorte que les spectateurs se sentent appelés et incités à agir pour le changement social.
Avec cet événement, l'ASAD souhaite connaître et diffuser de nouveaux imaginaires sociaux, regarder sous d'autres angles et aborder des propositions non hégémoniques qui s'engagent en faveur de l'égalité des sexes, de la diversité culturelle et de l'action climatique.
Cet événement vise à promouvoir la culture et la diversité des expressions artistiques tout en sensibilisant et en mobilisant les communautés sur les questions sociales et le Programme 2030. Il s'agit d'une édition itinérante recherchant la participation sociale dans les zones rurales.
