The purpose of this film festival is to promote new movie makers, exchange of knowledge, information, ideas & culture between India & other nations in context of their social and cultural ethos. JIFF also promotes friendship and co-operation among people of the world through the medium of films & documentaries.
Though the film festivals have became a regular affair in most countries yet most of them cater only to selected audience as well as entertain the commercially successful film makers and related personalities. However, LIFF intends to organize a festival that connects the film fans & movie goers with the world, especially the serious filmmakers & their associates so as to bring about greater understanding of the art of film making.
In October every year the Jaipur International Film Festival, Jaipur International Film Festival Trust and Film Library (we are bringing World's Largest & Secure Film Library soon) by Jaipur International Film Festival and Trust will organize Library International Film Festival in Jaipur at Golcha Cinema based on the top films/entries of the year in each category like Feature Fiction, Documentary Feature, Animation Feature, Short Fiction, Short Documentary, Short Animation, Ad Film, Song and Poster. Audience will choose the top ten films/posters/songs (not screenplays) by voting, out of all screened films/songs & selected posters in this festival. The top film will be awarded with the cash prize of INR 1.oo lac and certificate and memento. The other top nine films will be awarded certificates and mementos.

Film Maker/s, Director/s or Producer/s from all over the world can send or submit their film/s. A selection/rating committee consisting of members from film fraternity and film scholars would select the films.
SPECIAL BENEFITS & GUIDELINES
All films will be part of rating system by selection committee members.
Jury will judge the film for awards.
Top rated films will be announced every month or before notification date September 15, 2017.
Audience Choice Awards.
Top rated films/entries will be screened in Library Film Festival. (released/produced after 1st January 2016).
Library fee also include lifetime Library submission fee, so do not pay again for Library submission.
So you can submit your film in Library or Library Film Festival, it will be part of both automatically.

Il Festival Internazionale degli uccelli dipinti è dedicato a cortometraggi e lungometraggi, fiction, documentari e animazione FILM MADE DA 1 GENNAIO 2018 NON HANO PRESTATO IN EDIZIONI PRECEDENTI, con l'obiettivo di promuovere tra i bambini il dialogo interculturale, la coesione sociale e i diritti umani, in particolare quelli di bambini fino a 12 anni.
Diffonderà film di qualità che difficilmente raggiungono la Spagna, cercando di non cadere nei luoghi comuni comuni. Così gradualmente il festival è inteso come un campo di incontri e discussioni di progetti di interesse reciproco.
Trieste Science+Fiction Festival is a multidisciplinary event devoted to the exploration of the realms of the “fantastic” genre, and the use of new technologies and experimental languages in film, television and visual arts. Its main purpose is to present and promote, in Italy and in its neighboring countries, “fantastic” productions from all over the world, focusing particularly on science-fiction and fantasy cinematographic and audio-visual works.
The 17th edition of Trieste Science+Fiction Festival will run October 31, 2017 - November 5, 2017.

Discovery Film Festival: il Festival internazionale del cinema scozzese per il pubblico giovane

Discovery Film Festival è giunto al suo diciannovesimo anno. Con sede a Dundee Contemporary Arts e in tour in luoghi partner in Scozia, Regno Unito e Irlanda, il festival proietta film provenienti da tutto il mondo appositamente programmati per il pubblico giovane.
Il festival include tre emozionanti weekend di film, attività creative ed eventi di gala, oltre a due settimane di proiezioni ed eventi per le scuole.
Discovery mira a sviluppare un nuovo pubblico per il meglio del cinema internazionale, migliorare l'alfabetizzazione mediatica e offrire ai giovani spettatori una visione della vita dei bambini e dei giovani in altre culture. Il festival è attivo dal 2004 quando è stato avviato come partnership con Dundee Education Development Department, Scottish Screen e DCA.
Discovery Film Festival è un progetto DCA ed è organizzato da Mike Tait, Festival Producer e Cinema Youth Development Officer. Un team di Young Ambassadors (15-19 anni) collabora con Mike per programmare film e consigliare il design generale del festival. Un team di insegnanti e consulenti per l'istruzione consiglia il programma educativo e crea risorse pertinenti per il Curriculum for Excellence per le lezioni che visitano il festival.

Singapore Film Festival (SFF) was established to showcase some of the best award-winning independent feature length and short films from all over the world. SFF will be held consecutively in Singapore in 29-30 October 2016.
One of our major missions is to create a platform for filmmakers to be seen, but more importantly, to help them gain industry exposure and help sustain their film entry in to the Singapore film market.
We are currently accepting and curating entries for the festival, where the confirmed lineup will be announced in late September 2016.
The Festival also annually welcomes a large number of guests, with many filmmakers, actors, distributors and industry professionals attending and experiencing the Singapore Film Festival.

Il festival ha un concorso internazionale di cortometraggi in 5 proiezioni e altre sessioni parallele non competitive legate allo sviluppo della coesistenza basca e linguistica (proiezione MINTZAGUN in collaborazione con Oarsoaldea euskaltegis), all'uguaglianza di genere (premio BEKOZ BEKO in collaborazione con l'Associazione contro la violenza di genere Bekoz Beko), alla promozione della cultura a Pasaia e dintorni, ecc.
Il FENAVID International Film Festival si svolge ogni anno nella città di Santa Cruz, in Bolivia. Organizzato dalla Audiovisual Foundation (FUNDAV), il Festival è diventato l'evento cinematografico più importante della Bolivia e uno dei più importanti dell'America Latina.
Dalla sua prima versione, realizzata nel 2001, a questo incontro sono state presentate più di 10.000 opere audiovisive provenienti da 30 paesi, che ha oltrepassato i confini della Bolivia e dell'America.
In ogni versione, FENAVID offre al pubblico più di 150 proiezioni di lungometraggi, cortometraggi, video musicali e una serie di opere audiovisive esposte gratuitamente al pubblico.
FENAVID ha sempre ospiti di prim'ordine. All'evento hanno partecipato personaggi di fama internazionale come Celso Franco, protagonista di «7 scatole», Marisol Correa, attrice colombiana, Alexandre Rodrigues e Leandro Firmino de Hora (protagonisti dell'acclamato film brasiliano «Ciudad de Dios»), la produttrice argentina Vanessa Ragone (vincitrice dell'Oscar per il miglior film straniero nel 2010), i registi boliviani Marcos Loayza e Rodrigo Bellot e l'attrice argentina Aymará Rovera, solo per citarne alcuni.
Oltre al glamour e alle proiezioni di film, FENAVID è un macroincontro in cui convergono produttori, registi, attori, specialisti e tutta una moltitudine di persone appassionate di cinema.
Durante i giorni della sua realizzazione, il Festival ha una serie di attività parallele, come proiezioni di film per bambini, gare di videoclip, workshop, conferenze, colloqui e dibattiti.
Uno degli eventi più attesi di FENAVID è il Santa Cruz 100X100 Film Production Meeting. Consiste nel riunire 25 talenti cinematografici emergenti in America Latina. I prescelti si recano a Santa Cruz de la Sierra e, durante lo sviluppo del festival, hanno la missione di produrre un cortometraggio in 100 ore.

But in Russia, they are very few. "White Nights Film Festival" in St. Petersburg is designed for what would be at least as something to correct this situation.
We decided to give the opportunity to filmmakers from around the world to show their work at our festival. Special attention will be paid to students' works which provides significant discounts.
As our festival will be presented almost all film genres.
"White Nights Film Festival" will be held annually in April.
All films winners will receive awards.

India is supposedly the only country to produce the most number of films every year when compared to any other country. India is a culturally rich country with a history of cinema that dates back to the July of 1896 with the show of Lumière films in Bombay (now Mumbai). 'The Wrestlers' (1899) by H. S. Bhatavdekar showing a wrestling match at the Hanging Gardens in Mumbai was the first film ever to be shot by an Indian. It was also the first Indian documentary film. The first full-length motion picture in India was produced by Dadasaheb Phalke. He is the pioneer of Indian cinema who brought together elements from Sanskrit epics to produce 'Raja Harishchandra' (1913), a silent film in Marathi. India’s first talkie is 'Alam Ara.' Gradually, the culture of cinema started growing at a fast pace, and in the Golden Age of Indian Cinema the art form touched new heights in the hands of Chetan Anand, Ritwik Ghatak, Satyajit Ray, Mrinal Sen, Mani Kaul, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, G. Aravindan, Girish Kasaravalli, Buddhadeb Dasgupta, Tarun Majumdar, Tapan Sinha, Guru Dutt, Raj Kapoor, Bimal Roy et al.
The present modern Indian cinema still holds the high position in the world arena because of a new breed of directors who experiment and portray reality in their own ways. Anurag Kashyap, Madhur Bhandarkar, Vishal Bhardwaj, Gautam Ghose, Aparna Sen, Kaushik Ganguly, Rituporno Ghosh, Mani Kaul, Kumar Shahani, Ketan Mehta, Govind Nihalani, Shyam Benegal, Mira Nair, Nagesh Kukunoor, Sudhir Mishra, Nandita Das, Homi Adajania, Sooni Taraporevala and others have carved a niche of their own.

Il Bloody Horror International Film Festival (BHIFF) è un festival internazionale che cerca il meglio dell'horror indipendente (sia amatoriale che professionale).
Il festival è organizzato in due sessioni annuali. I film selezionati saranno riconosciuti e premiati in varie categorie.
BHIFF si è impegnata a mantenere basse le quote di iscrizione per dare a tutti la possibilità di partecipare, e offre un numero elevato di categorie di premi!
BHIFF ha sede in Canada, ma la sua giuria è ambientata in diverse parti del mondo e vanta una vasta esperienza nel campo dei film horror.
