**Become a part of one of the most popular IMDb annual Festivals!**

Welcome to the Bristol Independent Film Festival. We are one of the UK’s fastest-growing independent film festivals!

Since we started in 2016 we have had submissions from over 120 countries. We pride ourselves on being an international film festival. We aspire to promote, recognize, and support independent filmmakers throughout the world by hosting a variety of awards to provide the best opportunities for filmmakers and help them receive their deserved recognition. We welcome submissions from a range of genres including short films, documentaries, features, animations, and screenplays.

Why BIFF?

•We aim to create a community of independent film-makers and an environment where we can celebrate independent films and our submitters’ creations.
•For each event, we provide networking booklets that include information about each winner and ways to contact them. We also provide trophies and winners packs.
•Each season we offer cash prizes to our favorite submissions to help fund their future projects.
•Finally, we aim to establish personal relationships with our submitters. We always enjoy finally meeting with our filmmakers/ scriptwriters and being able to celebrate their accomplishments in person.

Why Bristol?

Bristol was recently recognized by UNESCO as a “City of Film” alongside the likes of Sydney, Rome, and Galway. We pride ourselves on being the largest celebration of independent film in Bristol and we aim to create a hub for independent film-makers.

Judging Process?

Our submissions are judged by a jury of international industry professionals. They rate each submission on 10 different categories including cinematography, writing, pacing, and creativity. This helps them decide which submissions make it to the final stage where there will be jury group viewings to make sure we only pick the best quality submissions.

We look forward to viewing your creations and hope to meet you at our 5th annual celebration of independent film.

The Faludi Film and Media announces its 24th thematic international film festival and the related photo competition. This year’s motto BORN FOR MORE.

It is an essential experience of every person’s inner life that something very special that has never happened before will happen to them. This feeling can be voiced in many ways: some people expect special, royal treatment throughout their life; others travel the world to find themselves; there are people who transform their body so that their transformation will actually succeed; some people get deeply depressed when faced with the gap between this expectation and their real life lived. "I can't find words for myself." - writes (the famous Hungarian poet) Attila József in his verse, and indeed, the world cannot explain this constant certainty that I was born for more than this or that and everything that has been so far. Meanwhile, of course, the world, life and ourselves walk quietly past us, since those who seek only their own miracle will not find their better selves, either. The world, life, things, the other, whom I love or reject, also carries our own face, our destiny, and our own miracle. The poet also knew, "I'm just standing here on the corner of the ironworks and I find no word for the moonlit sky." He is looking for companions who will then be part of his destiny, who will notice and hear more of what is said by the other, and involuntarily begin to take him as their brother. Have your own word, photo, film for the “moonlit sky”.

Competitors are invited to process this theme in the form of a film or photo in accordance with the terms and conditions of the festival. We are looking for professionally demanding elaborated works that are suitable for creating a forum, in the language of pictures, for a dialogue between different viewpoints and opinions.
The submissions are evaluated by international juries.

Deadline for entry : 8 October 2021
Date of the festival: 17-20 November 2021

WorldFest Artistic and Program Director, Kathleen Haney, stated, “We are fiercely dedicated to the Indie Feature and Short Film and look for a quality selection of individual films to maintain a smaller, yet effective program rather than an overly large and unwieldy slate of 150-300 films. Haney continued, “For the 2020 WorldFest we continue to use ‘A good story, well told’ as our time-tested approach to film selection”. WorldFest-Houston now accepts Online, Thumb-Drive & DVD/BR format entries.

This year WorldFest presents its 8th Annual Panorama Asia, the largest survey of new films from all of Asia & China in the whole, wide world! More than 200 directors and filmmakers will attend from Beijing, Shanghai, Korea, Taiwan, Mongolia, VietNam, Cambodia, the Philippines & Japan. WorldFest Grand Remi Award Winner, Ridley Scott commented “WorldFest is in the business of validating excellence!” We are delighted to agree! The mission of WorldFest is to recognize and validate creative excellence in film & video production in every facet and category of filmmaking. Many filmmakers report that a Remi Award from WorldFest opens doors to advance their careers.

WorldFest will continue with its annual Short Film Showcase, a special review of 130+ new short and student films...from the festival that gave first top honors to Spielberg, Lucas, Francis Ford Coppola, Randal Kleiser, The Coen Brothers, Ridley Scott, Robert Rodriguez, Spike Lee, Gavin Hood, John Lee Hancock, John Frankenheimer, Michael Cimino, Leslie Linka Glatter, Oliver Stone, Ang Lee, Atom Egoyan and David Lynch, among many others! WorldFest has emerged as the oldest continuous film festival management in the world with the same executive director, serving with a special vision for 53 consecutive years. A few other festivals are older, but they have had as many as ten different directors. It is the oldest film festival in The South, and the 3rd oldest International Film/Video Festival in North America, after San Francisco & NYC.

The 55th Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival highlights include a Red Carpet Opening Night Gala, the Remi Awards Banquet with top honors presented to more than 1,000 up-and-coming attending filmmakers from over 75 countries from round the globe, there are 9 Master Classes in Film & Video Production, a nightly Festival Club at the HQ Westin-Memorial City Hotel, Indie Panels, a VIP tour of NASA with a special police escort and an exciting Houston Yacht Club Sailing Regatta & Texas BBQ. It became an officially competitive International Film Festival seven years later, in April 1968, and has been in continuous operation since. It is one of the original three film festivals in North America, with San Francisco and New York as the first two events. Following WorldFest was Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, and Seattle. Then Sundance and SXSW, Toronto and Tribeca. Now there are more than 3,500 USA film festivals of various types, levels and quality, most being simply non-competitive screening events! Vintage Film Foundation Present
4th Vintage International Film Festival 2021

Considering the historical and ancient background in the field of cinema from this cultural city like Kolhapur, the Vintage International Film Festival came into existence. New artists entering this field of cinema can get a huge platform through short films and documentaries, so these artists need exposure to the film industry through such platforms but looking for future perspectives they don’t get a proper platform to showcase their talent. This talent mustn’t be restricted to their local level, so we are providing them a chance to showcase it to the international level.
This historic city has given birth to many famous and prestigious artists like Baburao Painter, V. Shantaram, Master Vinayak, Master Vithhal, Bhalji Pendharkar, etc., who have a great contribution to Marathi as well as World cinema, who are still rising and becoming successful. By looking forward to these artists as an idol, new upcoming youth of Kolhapur are chasing their dreams.
Here 4th Vintage International Film Festival gives them a chance to showcase their efforts at the international level to express their ideas, thoughts, innovations in front of national and international artists and audiences.
Similarly, we have decided to organize a workshop to provide exposure and knowledge about minute details, techniques about film making to groom the new artist.
