Any person or legal entity can participate, individually or collectively, without age limit, and can be done with any audiovisual production - in 4K, 2K, Full HD, HDV, HD format. The productions presented may have been previously projected, posted on the internet or in other exhibitions and festivals, regardless of the year of production.

For all sections that are part of the official selection, all short films recorded in digital format will be accepted.

● LORCA Award for the best short film of the festival, endowed with a trophy and diploma.
● LORCA Award to the best actor with a trophy and diploma.
● LORCA Award for the best actress endowed with a trophy and diploma.
● Prize to the LORCA better short of Animation endowed with trophy and diploma.
● Prize to the LORCA better Comedy to the most ingenious short endowed with trophy and diploma.
● LORCA Prize of the Public for the best short, endowed with trophy and diploma.

The trophies will be presented in November during the closing gala of the Festival.

GRANADA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL RULES 2022

The Organizing Committee of the Granada International Film Festival announces the contest for the 2022 edition and establishes the bases that will govern it.

BASES:

1. The 2nd edition of the Granada International Film Festival - LORCA awards (Granada) will take place from November 15 to 19, 2021. It is an international festival, which aims to promote a specific space for the discovery, projection and dissemination of unreleased feature films and short films.

2. Any person or legal entity can participate, individually or collectively, without age limit, and it can be done with any audiovisual production – in 4K, 2K, Full HD, HDV, HD format. The productions presented may have been previously screened, posted on the internet or at other exhibitions and festivals.

3. Each filmmaker, producer and/or director can register an amount
Works they wish, they can be made in any language, but they must be delivered
subtitled in Spanish. The individual work cannot exceed 20 min.

4. The theme of the festival is open, aimed at children, youth and families; however, the theme and genre of the Productions is free. Quality and originality will be prioritized as the main objective.

5. The registration process is as follows:
The submission of short films through online submission platforms to festivals will be done exclusively through the following online submission platforms to festivals: festhome.

1. Register on one of the two platforms used by the festival:

In the case of not wanting to send the short films through the online delivery platforms to said festivals, you can also send us your short films via private Vimeo links, protected by password.

6. Registration for the festival is free. The deadline for registration and receipt of
productions ends on October 15, 2022.

7. The Organizing Committee will make a preliminary selection of the works presented, and will assess
especially the aspects highlighted in point 4 of these BASES. This decision will be
communicated through the web with the list of selected works.

8. Works of an advertising or tourist nature will not be admitted, nor those that use non-original material in more than 10% of the totality of the work. will not be accepted either the works that do not have the necessary technical quality for a correct visualization.

9. The OFFICIAL SELECTION will be made public on the Festival website from October 2022. The works of the works presented may remain in the possession of the organization, which reserves the right to use them as promotional material for the Festival.

10. The authors will have to guarantee that the content of their work does not infringe the intellectual property rights or other rights of third parties, and will exonerate the Organizing Committee from any legal responsibility.

11. The selected productions will be publicly screened during the days of the
Festival, understanding that its authors or producers authorize the projection. In no case is the payment of projection fees contemplated. The images of the short films can be used as promotion of the festival regardless of the year.

12. A Jury appointed by the Coordinating Committee and made up of a minimum of 4 people, will decide the prizes that are:

● LORCA Award for the best short film of the festival endowed with a trophy and a diploma.
● LORCA Award for best actor endowed with a trophy and diploma.
● LORCA Award for best actress endowed with a trophy and diploma.
● LORCA Award for the best Animation short endowed with a trophy and a diploma.
● LORCA Award for the best Comedy for the most ingenious short endowed with a trophy and a diploma.
● LORCA Audience Award for the best short film, endowed with a trophy and a diploma.

The awards ceremony will take place in October during the closing gala of the Festival.

13. The Jury will have the power to vacate the prize or prizes it deems appropriate, as well as to award a special trophy to highlight technical and/or artistic aspects of any of the works in competition. His decisions will be final.

14. The production companies accept that, in case of obtaining any of the prizes
obtained, obtained a written reference to the awarding of the prize at the beginning of all and each one of the copies of the film that they distribute for the exhibition in theaters and/or in audiovisual contests, as well as in all printed informative and promotional material.

This reference will consist of a text with the type of prize received, accompanied
invariably from the image of the winners that easy.
