RINASCIO Lo spazioso cinema LAB111 sarà nuovamente sede del New Renaissance Film Festival (NRFF) per la sua quarta edizione il 2, 3 e 4 marzo 2020.
Questo amichevole festival d'essai che ha sede a Londra, ed è stato chiamato «Uno dei migliori festival cinematografici del Regno Unito» (London METRO, O1.08.16, ha presentato e proiettato film che hanno vinto un Oscar (http://newrenaissancefilmfest.com/nrff-interviews-oscar-2018-winners-the-silent-child), o ha ricevuto un importante accordo di distribuzione.
Nonostante le sue dimensioni ridotte, ogni anno ci sono molte gemme da trovare tra i numerosi cortometraggi e lungometraggi, e molti registi e attori sono tradizionalmente presenti e si svolge un sacco di networking. Il

The 28th edition of the European Short Film Festival of Bordeaux will take place from March 27th to 28th 2025. The projection nights will take place at the UGC Ciné-Cité cinema in Bordeaux.
GOALS
The European Short Film Festival of Bordeaux aims to promote the short film format to the Région Aquitaine's audience. It facilitates the access to cinema for a large public, from all ages. It also supports the discovery of talented directors coming from all over Europe.,It’s a way for the filmmakers to be appreciated by a jury, no matter if they are mere enthusiasts or professionals.
Children's International Film Festival, CIFF is one of the biggest children's film fest in middle east. Children are arguably the world's toughest audience to please. And the challenge gets bigger when 600,000+ school-going teens and pre-teens from almost 200 nationalities want to watch your film. It doesn't get bigger than this!
Our aim is to encourage meaningful thought provoking films for children and showcase amazing works of Filmmakers from around the world. The short listed films compete for most coveted Audience choice Award.

After last year's big success DELETE TV is again selecting remarkable experimental short films and video art which will be broadcasted on our partner TV-Channel in Austria and several video art platforms in collaboration with the selected artists. Delete TV investigates the captivating nature of images with the specific aim to look up to new approaches by taking distance from the conventional film making method.
The program opens a window to the world of art and offers strong, wild and uncensored works from upcoming artists and film-makers. Delete TV highlights contemporary issues in a global context, highly educational and deeply focused on intercultural exchange and visibility.

The 4th COLOMBIAN QUEER FILM FESTIVAL is an annual non competitive LGBT film festival created by Fundación Cineteca Pública de Santander, to reward and celebrate each films of Colombian and international filmmakers, who make visible an aesthetic-political nature with discussions on gender, diversity of sexual orientation and identity along with films in commercial circuits and festivals, to generate intercultural encounters and consolidate organization processes and self-representation.
Gender doesn't define us. The sexuality-gender-body relationship surrounds us with inexhaustible questions and reflections. That’s why in this fourth edition we adopt the proposal to explore the different possibilities that this relationship offers in Cinema. #GENDERisOVER

Quarta edizione CENTRAL-DOC, Blackbird Films e Huitzil Multidisciplinary Creation Laboratory A.C. si svolgono dal 2 al 6 dicembre 2019 nello stato di Tlaxcala, Messico. Le opere saranno proiettate in spazi pubblici, indipendenti, istituzioni educative e centri culturali, essendo questi locali, nazionali o internazionali.
Questa quarta edizione della Mostra è accompagnata dal tema CULTURA, IDENTITÀ E RESISTENZA... 500 ANNI FA. Un tema che cerca di rendere visibile ma soprattutto di rivendicare il ruolo delle popolazioni indigene attraverso i diversi documentari che compongono questa edizione e che sono destinati a ruotarsi su temi particolari come le origini, le tradizioni, il territorio, la lingua, i diritti, tra molti altri. Al CENTRAL-DOC ci aspettiamo documentari con storie che ci permettono di mettere in discussione e valorizzare ciò che ci rende ciò che siamo, da dove veniamo e quali sono le nostre radici.
CineCulpable è il Festival Internazionale del Cortometraggio Vila-real. Nel 2020 arriviamo alla 23a edizione.

FEST — New Directors | New Films Festival è una celebrazione onnicomprensiva delle nuove tendenze del cinema mondiale. L'evento si concentra su una vetrina competitiva e non competitiva delle nuove figure e opere più promettenti provenienti da tutto il mondo.
La 21a edizione del festival si svolgerà tra il 24 giugno e il 1 luglio 2024, nella località balneare di Espinho (Portogallo).
La selezione è suddivisa in diverse categorie che includono concorsi di lungometraggi e cortometraggi nei formati di finzione, documentario, animazione, sperimentale non narrativo, oltre a contenuti adeguati per bambini e adolescenti. L'evento include anche sezioni non competitive che vanno dalle retrospettive alle rassegne che possono essere cortometraggi, lungometraggi o serie.
COSA STIAMO CERCANDO?
Accettiamo film nei seguenti formati:
A) Lungometraggi di finzione e saggistica (la durata minima è di 55 minuti) di registi impegnati nel loro primo o secondo lungometraggio, indipendentemente dall'età.
B) Cortometraggi di finzione, documentari, animazione e sperimentali (fino a 54 minuti di durata) di registi che hanno completato non più di due lungometraggi, indipendentemente dall'età.
C) Serie di finzione, documentari, animazione e sperimentali (fino a 55 minuti di durata) di registi che hanno completato non più di due lungometraggi, indipendentemente dall'età.
I candidati devono scegliere una delle categorie di inscrição disponibili. Non preoccuparti se il tuo film rientra in diverse categorie (ad esempio: produzioni ibride), poiché tutte le iscrizioni verranno prese in considerazione per le diverse competizioni. Se il tuo film è idoneo anche per il concorso NEXXT (incentrato sulle produzioni accademiche) ma desideri che il film venga preso in considerazione per tutti gli altri concorsi, indica nella sezione commenti dell'inscrição l'istituzione accademica in cui è stato prodotto il film. Nel corso degli anni il FEST ha selezionato per i suoi concorsi di lungometraggi film come «Past lives» di Celine Song; «Mighty Flash» di Ainhoa Rodríguez; «The Civilian» di Teodora Mihai; Anders Ølholm e Frederik Louis Hviid con «Enforcement»; Julie Lecoustre, «Zero Fucks Given» di Emmanuel Marre; P.S. Vinotho «Pebbles», «Poppy field» di Eugen Jebeleanu e «Lamb» di Valdimar Jóhannsson, tutto questo nella finzione, poi nella parte documentaria, «A way Home» di Karima Saidi, «Gli ultimi cavalieri del lato destro» di Michał Edelman, «Dear Future Children» di Franz Böhm tra molti altri.
Le sezioni Short Film del FEST sono note per la loro ampia varietà di stili e visioni cinematografiche, essendo state nel corso degli anni una piattaforma per il lancio di nuovi artisti come Govinda Van Maele (Lussemburgo), Christos Massalas (Grecia), Mati Diop (Francia), Adriano Valerio (Italia), Patrick Vollrath (Germania), Ninja Thyberg (Svezia), Manuel Abramovich (Argentina), Dresda Aria Belova (Russia), Simon Mésa Soto (Colombia), Aga Woszczynska (Polonia), Jela Hasler (Svizzera) e centinaia di altri registi emergenti.

An A+ wins a Special Jury Award and is considered for the Grand Remi! An A score wins a Platinum Remi, an A- wins a Gold, a B+ wins a Silver and a B wins a Bronze Remi. The 55th Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival continues its totally dedicated Independent Film screening format for the upcoming April 20-24, 2022 unspooling. WorldFest will screen just 60-80 feature film premieres and over 130 Shorts with a total and absolute emphasis on the American and International Independent feature film and a continuing annual spotlight on award-winning short films and documentary films. Entries Officially Open Aug. 15, 2021. The EarlyBird Entry Deadline is Nov. 15th 2021 – A Mail-By/Enter By/Ship-By Deadline! Entries do not have to arrive by this deadline. The Main Entry Deadline is December 15, 2021. The Late Entry Deadline is Jan 15th 2022!
WorldFest Artistic and Program Director, Kathleen Haney, stated, “We are fiercely dedicated to the Indie Feature and Short Film and look for a quality selection of individual films to maintain a smaller, yet effective program rather than an overly large and unwieldy slate of 150-300 films. Dal 2004, il Kinoki International Student Film Festival è gestito completamente dagli studenti dell'Universidad Iberoamericana di Città del Messico. La nostra storia
nel 2009 come progetto informale per presentare il cinema indipendente nei vicoli appartati di Alfama, proiettato contro le sue iconiche pareti in pietra.
Negli anni seguenti, Cinalfama maturò e divenne un evento competitivo di carattere internazionale, nonché un riferimento culturale a Lisbona.
La natura degli eventi è cambiata nel corso degli anni, ma l'atmosfera, i film e i luoghi rimangono intimi come lo sono sempre stati.
La nostra casa
Fondato nel 1914, il Grupo Sportivo Adicense è uno dei simboli più antichi e autentici rimasti della vera anima di Alfama.
I cantanti di fado di fama mondiale hanno iniziato la loro carriera servendo ai tavoli di questa istituzione storica, che ancora resiste ai continui cambiamenti e all'errata caratterizzazione del paesaggio urbano del quartiere
Sessioni di screening
Nascoste nei vicoli del centro storico di Lisbona, Alfama, le nostre proiezioni intime si svolgono nella casa culturale più antica della città, il Grupo Sportivo Adicense.
Organizziamo tre edizioni stagionali di proiezione nel corso dell'anno, per mostrare e premiare i migliori talenti e film di ognuna di esse. Questi sono a ingresso gratuito e tutti i film hanno sottotitoli in inglese.
A causa dell'attuale pandemia e delle relative restrizioni, abbiamo deciso di ospitare la prossima edizione di gennaio 2024 online, mettendo a disposizione una selezione dei migliori film della stagione. L'obiettivo è di riprendere le proiezioni dal vivo molto presto.
8th INTERNATIONAL HALF FESTIVAL 2018
(Haiku Amateur Little Film Festival)
HALF Festival stands for Haiku Amateur Little Film Festival. ‘Haiku’ is a very short form of Japanese poetry, here used to mean any short form of aesthetic creativity. ‘Amateur’ here denotes a creation by a creator whose chief intention in the creation is not financial gain. ‘Little’ here stands for shortness of duration of the film. ‘HALF’ denotes also the stipulated duration of the film which is 5 minutes or ‘half’ the time of a traditional film reel which is 10 minutes. Insight, which is organizing this festival, is a group of creative artists, with base at Palakkad, who believe in the infinite potential of the short film as a medium of communication and aesthetic creativity.
The European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation (the Federation) is a tightly knit network of 22 film festivals from 14 countries, with a global attendance of over 450 000 visitors, making it a vital economic and cultural player on the fantastic film scene.
