Fantàstik Granollers es el festival de cine fantástico y de terror de Granollers, que se celebra desde 2012. Se ha convertido en un evento único en la ciudad, en el que se ofrece una propuesta cultural relacionada exclusivamente con el cine fantástico y de terror y todo lo relacionado con él, apostando con mucha fuerza por los cortometrajes.
Es una excelente oportunidad para que los amantes del cine vean películas innovadoras, así como para conectarse con otras personas interesadas en este tema.
Además del festival, durante el año se llevan a cabo otras actividades relacionadas con la difusión del cine fantástico y de terror.
Este 2024, el Festival Internacional de Cine de Iquique (Ficiqq) celebrará 15 años. Ficiqq es un certamen único en la región de Tarapacá que en esta ocasión es financiado por el Fondo de Fomento Audiovisual 2024, y cuenta con el auspicio de SQM Yodo Nutrición Vegetal junto a la producción de Volcánica Films.
ESPIELLO, FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE DOCUMENTAL ETNOGRÁFICO está organizada por el Servicio de Cultura de la Comarca de Sobrarbe (una institución que agrupa a 19 ayuntamientos) junto a una amplia participación de vecinos y vecinas de la zona que forman la Comisión Permanente del festival. Se celebra durante el mes de marzo y abril en Boltaña, una pequeña población del Pirineo de Huesca (España/Spain).
Se trata del único festival con esta especialización en el país. Consta de un concurso internacional de documental etnográfico y de diferentes secciones fuera de concurso y actividades paralelas donde se abordan temas más amplios relacionados con el documental y la antropología visual.
El Cultural Británico los saluda cordialmente y abre la convocatoria al “XI FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINE PARA NIÑOS, CINI 2025”, a celebrarse en Lima, Perú, del 12 al 16 febrero del 2025.
Este festival tiene como sede los auditorios del Centro Cultural Británico, ubicados en los distritos de Surco, San Miguel, San Borja, Pueblo Libre, San Martín de Porres, Santa Anita, San Juan de Lurigancho, Camacho, y Miraflores.
Todas las proyecciones a realizarse durante el “XI FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINE PARA NIÑOS, CINI 2025” serán de ingreso gratuito para público en general.

La producción y desarrollo en Chile lo realiza el equipo de SurDocs, quienes durante 12 años realizaron un festival de cine documental en Puerto Varas.
Este festival tiene por objetivo central transformarse en el mediano plazo en uno de los principales festivales de la especialidad en Latinoamérica, aprovechando las áreas de mayor expertise de DocsBarcelona España: formación e industria.

It aims to present science as an attractive, dynamic and diverse sector through films charting natural, humanities and social science disciplines. Each year, hundreds of documentary films and television programs enroll in the competition sections of the festival. AFO´s active programming seeks significant works in Czech and world science cinema, and present them to general as well as academic public. It focuses not only on current productions, but reviews, and revives the history of the genre in special program sections. Each year, a dominant topic brings together films and guests from all over the world, presenting science as a thrilling adventure.
The Okotoks Film Festival is a three day international festival to be held annually in the town of Okotoks. (located in Alberta, Canada just south of Calgary) We will be offering films in a wide variety of genres to reach a extensive audience.
Workshops will be run during the festival. Film makers submitting to the festival will receive 1 FREE ENTRY to any one workshop offered should they be able to attend the festival. Film makers with films chosen to screen at the festival will receive free entry to all workshops, screenings and galas during the festival.

La Muestra de cortometrajes de La Cuna es un evento que tendrá lugar en la Tetería La Cuna de Elche (Alicante), España, el 15 de diciembre de 2019. En ella tiene cabida cualquier cortometraje con una duración máxima de 30 minutos. Se admite cualquier género cinematográfico.

El concepto: mostrar otro «cine» y presentar obras audiovisuales a un público de asistentes al festival y profesionales.

El Shortcup Film Festival es la copa mundial de cortometrajes. Las películas seleccionadas se distribuyen en 4 días de exposición, donde cada película representa a su país y los votos populares del jurado definen la ronda final donde el ganador es elegido en la quinta jornada.
