Loch Ness Film Festival is a small grassroots film festival run as a scottish charity by volunteers that screen entertaining shorts films that are under 15 minutes over a weekend at the end of July each year and we also host a fun guerrilla style filmmaking afternoon.
We aim to screen the best shorts we receive either from our own backyard of the Highlands in Scotland to the other side of the world from budget to no budget.
Petaluma International Film Festival® (PIFF) is an annual event showcasing independent feature and short films from around the world.
The festival is open to all film genres.

This is a short film festival for films 20 minutes or less in length.
This year, we are strongly encouraging entrants to submit a link to private YouTube or Vimeo screener not a hard-copy of the film. If you must submit a hardcopy please use a paper DVD sleeve. When packaging, protect the DVD in a padded envelope, or similar package. Please DO NOT send your dvd in a slim, jewel, or standard DVD case, they almost always break in shipping.
Please note that the ONLY difference in the early submission deadline versus the final submission deadline is the fee discount. The submission process and consideration by the Programming Committee is not affected by the date you submit your film as long as it is postmarked by our final deadline - your chances are equal regardless of the day your film makes it into our offices, as long as it is postmarked by the final deadline!
ALL films submitted to the festival are seen and scored by two or more different programmers. All films that have a higher average, or are a favorite of a programmer, go on to final deliberations. GeNerk selects its films by majority vote and nothing is offered early acceptance.
Film Submissions are non-returnable for any reason.
If a film is accepted, entrants will be solely responsible for delivering their exhibition video materials to and from the festival venue. Complete press kits will be needed as soon after notification as possible. GeNerk cannot be held liable for your exhibition print/video materials which are lost or damaged.

El Festival de Cine AVANCA obtuvo el primer lugar en el concurso de 2011 de los festivales de cine de apoyo patrocinados por el ICA/Ministerio de Cultura.
A lo largo de todos estos años, se ha desarrollado una programación temática adicional, que ha dado espacio a la proyección de obras importantes del cine contemporáneo, debidamente encuadradas en preocupaciones y/o objetivos bien definidos.
El AVANCA es conocido como un espacio para talleres impartidos por personalidades del cine mundial y, al ser más que una «clase magistral», ha permitido una práctica cinematográfica única. Todos los años organizamos talleres en los que participan participantes de toda Europa. Los medios de comunicación han escrito que esta es la mayor área europea de talleres profesionales en el campo del cine.
AVANCA es el único festival que reúne una competición internacional de cine, obras del ámbito de la televisión, el vídeo y nuevos soportes multimedia, con una preocupación especial por exhibir las mejores producciones mundiales realizadas en cada categoría.
Desde la primera edición, el festival solo acepta películas inéditas en Portugal.
La competición de estreno mundial es única en nuestro país y solo fue posible porque Avanca se convirtió en un punto de paso de autores inéditos y películas de gran calidad. Las películas que se estrenan mundialmente en el festival, independientemente de la categoría presentada, también participan en la Competición de Estrenos Mundiales.
AVANCA es el festival portugués con el mayor porcentaje de películas inéditas de todo el mundo que se proyectan aquí por primera vez.
Desde 2010, organizamos la conferencia internacional de cine AVANCA | CINEMA, convirtiéndose en la conferencia más importante en el campo del cine en la Península Ibérica. Esta conferencia reúne a ponentes y participantes de todo el mundo.
Las exposiciones temáticas, las ediciones de libros, las presentaciones bibliográficas y varios proyectos han marcado estos últimos 10 años de AVANCA con la calidad que el festival y los participantes, obviamente, exigen.
The New Urbanism Film Festival is a film festival with a purpose. We want to encourage audiences to think about how they can make their cities and towns a better place. If your film addresses issues in that area, we'd like to see it.

After the screenings, audiences are invited to dialogue with leading urban thinkers about the issues raised during the movie and discuss current local projects.

El Shortcup Film Festival es la copa mundial de cortometrajes. Las películas seleccionadas se distribuyen en 4 días de exposición, donde cada película representa a su país y los votos populares del jurado definen la ronda final donde el ganador es elegido en la quinta jornada.
El objetivo principal del festival es fusionar un escaparate de cine competitivo con el ambiente casual de un bar; este año, en su 6ª edición, tendrá lugar en 4 ciudades simultáneamente, esas ciudades son:

Curt.Doc Festival Internacional de corto documental de Vidreres es un acontecimiento cultural dedicado al documental en su formato más corto. Este festival tiene como objetivo crear un punto de encuentro y al mismo tiempo una plataforma de exhibición para público, profesionales y realizadores de todo el mundo, para ayudar a la promoción del documental y sus autores en un formato fresco y directo.
EL FESTIVAL:
El Festival Internacional de Cine «Cinema Povero» está abierto a todo el mundo: cineastas ricos, cineastas pobres de cualquier género o religión, todos bienvenidos siempre que hayan desarrollado una idea hermosa y original con un presupuesto limitado.
Ahora en su 24º año, el Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de 24 fps se ha ganado la reputación de presentar algunos de los programas de exposiciones más singulares y desafiantes del circuito de festivales.
La misión de 24fps es celebrar y alentar a los estudiantes y a los cineastas independientes. Los programas de proyección pública del festival están diseñados para destacar tanto al creador como al propio trabajo. Todas las películas expuestas son presentadas por un comentarista y los cineastas que asisten tienen la oportunidad de hablar con el público del festival al final de la exposición de su película.
Las películas se exhiben en la tercera parte de programas comisariados. Todas las películas se proyectan en el recinto ferial del festival, el emblemático Teatro Paramount, que figura en el Registro Nacional de Lugares Históricos de Estados Unidos.
Somos un festival de cortometrajes internacional, que expone el cine espiritual desde un lenguaje universal, tratando asuntos internos del ser humano, un cine de lo invisible que captura la esencia de lo profundo y trascendente, en historias introspectivas y reflexivas; con preguntas y respuestas sobre la vida. El Festival es un evento de lleno de color y emociones, que sacuden tus sentidos.
La Boca Erótica tiene como primer objetivo presentar un cine de calidad, que muestre de manera desenfadada, comprometida, divertida, arriesgada y valiente, relaciones en que estén presentes: la sensualidad, el erotismo, el amor, la seducción, el deseo, la pasión, la lujuria, los celos, los conflictos y todo aquello que tiene que ver con el acercamiento y la comunicación entre los sexos.
Queremos ofrecer una visión transversal del erotismo. Al mismo tiempo que nos preguntamos por el significado de la palabra dentro de una sociedad diversa.
Una exploración de la sexualidad desde un punto de vista social y sin barreras de género.
El festival habla de política, de educación, de la sociedad, teniendo como punto de partida la sexualidad.

ORGANIZADORES
La Asociación Cultural Time & Memory organiza la decimotercera edición del Festival de Cortometrajes denominado «SHORT TO SOUTH», que se celebrará en Polla (SA), ITALIA, del 21 al 22 de junio de 2025 en el Auditorio «Holy Nicolicchio».
El Festival de Cortometrajes de Prokuplje, fundado en 2011, es el festival de cine más joven de Serbia. En Prokplje hay un evento en el que el público puede ver lo mejor del campo del documental, el experimento, la animación y la ficción de todo el mundo. Miles de películas de todo el mundo llegan a la sede del festival, y así lo han reflejado las numerosas audiencias de Prokuplje, pero también de otras ciudades de Serbia y de la región, ya que el equipo organiza una gira en la que se presentan las mejores películas en más de 30 ciudades. La falta de cine, así como la falta de una película como asignatura en la escuela, impiden que los jóvenes aprendan sobre este arte.
Para ver algo de este contenido, los jóvenes tienen que ir a Nis, o incluso a Belgrado. Esta es una oportunidad para ver en Prokuplje los últimos cortometrajes de todo el mundo. En los últimos años, según las investigaciones, ha disminuido la asistencia del público a los festivales de todo el mundo. Por eso, y debido a la presentación de la película entre los jóvenes, hemos llevado la obra a todos los centros de enseñanza primaria y secundaria, que son un público potencial y se animarán con la presentación de las películas de los festivales y el debate sobre la importancia del Festival. Además de trabajar con los jóvenes de Prokuplje, el Club de Cine de Prokuplje es el primero en empezar a animar al público de las zonas rurales, que están completamente excluidas de todos los eventos, especialmente los culturales.

Ischia Film Festival is the heart of the project “Cinema & Territory’’ created by Michelangelo Messina for the no-profit organization Association Art Movie & Music, whose purpose is to spread among a vast audience unedited audio-visual works that highlight the cultural identity of a place through the movie screening and locations.
Every year the festival presents a selection of films from all over the world: all of them emphasize the cultural identity or the landscape's features of a certain territory through the audiovisual narration. A jury of personages of the film industry awards the best films among the ones selected for the official competition.
During the Festival week, in addition to the competition's film screenings, there is a special section about "denied location" and there also are omages to important figures of the international film industry. The Festival is an important part of a wider project called "Cinema and territory" that aims at protecting cultural and landscape peculiarities of territories in order to promote them through the audiovisual medium.
KloosterKino is the place to be for animated shorts in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Three times a year we show the best animated shorts from all over the world in a friendly setting. The screenings take place in a historic cloister, which dates back to 1909, and are not subject to admission.
KloosterKino shows work by young filmmakers, but also pays attention to classic animated film. Throughout the year we also work with other festivals and cultural organizations to arrange screenings of animated shorts.
But why animated shorts? Well, first of all, because we love them! But also because too few animated shorts are shown theatrically in the Netherlands. KloosterKino wants to show animation in all its diversity: from stop-motion to CGI, from narrative to abstract, homegrown and from far away. In doing so, we hope to aid in the diffusion of the artistic animated short.
We intend to be an alternative to the larger animation festivals by offering screenings which are both accessible and challenging. We stand for high quality animated film in welcoming surroundings. Our target audience is not just the animation aficionado, but also those who normally don’t watch animation, but are open to a surprising and stimulating program of films.
