Dumbo Film Festival is a yearly event structured in monthly contests. Every month, each of the categories will be awarded and a final ceremony will be held every year in New York City’s district of Dumbo to award projects that have been judged the very best over the past year. This structure is meant to highlight both affirmed and emergent filmmakers and to launch promising artists into the world film stage.
By the end of the Seventies, a prosperous renewal has brought the district of Dumbo to a new life, and it is now considered to be one of New York’s most glamorous districts and a thriving destination for artists to meet and share their thoughts.
On this background of revival within the New York panorama, DFF aims to establish itself among the most important independent festivals in the world.
Producers and directors from around the world can meet each other here, encounter new ideas, and begin working toward prestigious goals.
DFF can be your stepping stone to go the distance (literally 2797 miles!) to Oscars night.
DFF is organized into six categories: Feature Narrative, Short Narrative, Feature Documentary, Short Documentary, Animation, and Experimental. The monthly nominees will receive a certificate of excellence and be granted access to the final phase of the competition.

ABOUT
XV ENCUENTRO PARA CINÉFAGOS
A Cinema and Arts Festival on the Border
San Cristóbal, Venezuela
August 7-9th 2025
The fifteenth edition of the Cinephagus Meeting, born in 2011 from the conjunction of the Andes University Cinema Club and BORDES, an independent organization dedicated to study and promote arts and humanities in Venezuela, will be held in San Cristóbal (Venezuela), from August 7 to 9, 2025, with an online screen available for audiences around the world.
Experimental films are more than welcome: our festival encourages innovation and transgressing of format, genres, political and aesthetic borders. We are especially receptive of video-art and dance films, as well as animation and documentaries, considering it necessary for artists to have adequate spaces for the exhibition and critique of their work, outside commercial circuits and other formal demands that may limit creative exploration of contemporary languages.
We are also interested in films exploring the subject of frontiers. Táchira is located in the border of Venezuela with Colombia, and this has traditionally been the most active geo political limit in Latin America, but in the last five years activity has been more than unusual, deserving many different views to be displayed. The story of this and other borders from around the world may be valuable contributions to our festival, which encourages reflective discussion as well as aesthetic enjoyment of all works presented.
Tlanchana Fest, Festival of Cinema and Digital Art is carried out by Tlanchana Cultura Audiovisual AC, in order to create an exhibition space for emerging talents from Mexico and the world, by combining elements that promote cinematographic creation in conjunction with new media and digital art.

La Fête du Clip de Lyon returns for a second edition on October 25 and 26 in In-Sted!
La Fête du Clip de Lyon is the emerging music festival!
Broadcasts of the best independent regional, national and international music videos.
---------
Making a quality clip for an artist is a lot of work, creativity, time and talent but also sometimes limited means!
However, the immediacy of social networks and the continuous creation of these contents offer a very limited exposure to these productions over time.
Today, there are festivals devoted to feature films, short films, animated films that allow a meeting between works and the public and few of them are dedicated to the genre of the music video.
It is therefore to promote this unique artistic genre that "La Fête du clip" was launched in Lyon (France) and Montreal (Canada).
Allow clips to be viewed in real projection conditions, on the big screen, and be seen by an audience of curious, music lovers and emerging artists, who like to go to festivals or concerts.
What's La Fête du Clip ?
La Fête du Clip de Lyon is an opportunity to create a meeting between artists, directors and a wide audience for a festive evening dedicated to watching clips on the big screen!
A selection of about thirty musically and visually varied clips is then broadcast during 2 evenings under the sign of sharing and discovery.
Artists and directors are invited to present their work and the creative process of each project and answer questions from the audience.
Following the viewing, the public & the jury vote for their favorite clips to reward and encourage directors and artists.
Prizes are awarded to the winners to support them financially and give them additional means to develop their future projects.
Evenings are articulated like this:
- aperitif with DJ Set from 18h to 20h
- screenings start at 20h, where the images and music teams are invited to come
- jury deliberations and public vote
- awards ceremony and projection of the winning clips

Revelation started life in 1997 as an ‘underground’ event in the back room basement of the Greenwich Club, at the time Perth’s smoothest jazz and music venue. All works were screened purely on 16mm film and the festival also featured live music, poetry and guest presentations. Revelation was designed to showcase a range of unique and progressive short, feature, documentary, archival and animated works which were at the forefront of contemporary underground filmmaking, at the same time contextualising these works through a variety of curated archival programs highlighting pivotal points in independent filmmaking.
Rapidly outgrowing the intimate surrounds of the Greenwich Club, Revelation now spans venues across Perth and Fremantle and features some of the most acclaimed films from the international film festival scene and includes gallery and installation works, live performances, an academic conference and a unique seminar and masterclass series. Revelation’s market penetration is today at its most comprehensive ever, engaging new local, national and international audiences.
More than 500 films are submitted each year for selection from local and international filmmakers, and the event’s screen conference component is fast becoming a huge draw for the world’s filmmaking community.
Revelation was invited to present the public screening component of the Australian International Documentary Conference as part of the Perth International Arts Festival in 2000 and 2001 and since then has seen itself as a stand-alone event.
The festival’s screen conference is expected to become an even larger draw for Australian and international filmmakers.
Revelation is an official AACTA Awards Qualifying Film Festival
