Villanueva Showing Festival is an International Short Film Festival for young people between 15 and 25 years old, organized by Universidad Villanueva. This initiative aims to encourage young people to reflect on universal human values through audiovisual language. For this reason, each edition challenges the young cinematographic promises to create their own piece on a specific theme based on a universal value.

This festival aims to stimulate and facilitate meetings between members of national and international cinematography and to present non-fiction films.

The 14th FICCI-ON - Ciudad Rodrigo International Film Festival aims to promote educational, social and spiritual films made around the world.
The theme of the festival will therefore be educational, social and values-based; including all those films that promote child development in all its aspects.
Values-based films that deal with the subject of human rights, as well as intercultural dialogue. There will also be room for films with ethnographic themes, social denunciation or commitment to the development of the culture of Peace. Visceral, International Horror Film Festival, emerges as a project to showcase, disseminate, and promote genre cinema in the Biobío region. It provides an opportunity to bring cinematic works from around the world to the local audience, structured around a program that includes short film screenings, talks with filmmakers, and audiovisual workshops, with a cultural, artistic, and entertainment focus on horror and its various subgenres.

The festival is for and by independent filmmakers. The organizers of Antakya Film Festival bring 10 years of festival experience to this annual event. The Baixada Film Festival is a celebration of cinematic art and a cultural boost for Pinheiro, Maranhão. Aiming to promote cinematic diversity, the festival highlights local and national productions. About KIFF
The 4th edition of the Karatsu International Film Festival will run from 8th - 13th July, 2025 in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture.
KIFF is organized by THEATER ENYA, a cinema which revived after 22 years in Karatsu City. Guiding the next generation of film people, bridging between filmmakers -Our mission is making a place to meet and discover films around the world, as well as sharing the possibility of the visual culture with people through the film festival in Karatsu.
For the main competition section, the submissions are open to feature films, short films, and documentary films. Some of the winners will be given KIFF’s support through our scholarship programme, creating opportunities overseas/domestic distribution.
During the festival, KIFF offers screenings, lectures, discussions, and workshops around films. We also host welcome events for international filmmakers “The Omotenashi programme” to provide their new experiences of Japanese culture and make some opportunities to meet people.

Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture is a historic castle town surrounded by the beautiful sea in the northwest of the Kyushu region of Japan. A treasure trove of ingredients blessed with nature here, and you can enjoy gastronomy unique to Japan. This city is a place where traditional arts and crafts are still alive, and is known for its local pottery and the annual Karatsu Kunchi festival* which has a history of over 400 years.
*was registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2016.
History of THEATER ENYA
Since we were founded in 2010,THEATER ENYA also has an aspect as a company which is working to breathe new life into our hometown through its cultural heritages.
In 2017, we collaborated with one of Japan’s master film directors Nobuhiko Obayashi to film HANAGATAMI set in Karatsu and won the Grand Prix at the 72nd Mainichi Film Awards. This film was invited to international film festivals in over 20 countries.
In 2019, we finally revived a cinema after 22 years in Karatsu. Thereafter we operate the theater and manage departments of film festival, film commission, and cultural tourism.
Last but not least, THEATER ENYA was selected as “10 of Japanese independent cinemas” by The Japanese Foundation in 2023. Here is our short documentary subtitled in 10 languages to get closer to the festival location, our hometown, and who we are. Please take a look.

Running over three days, Braziers International Film Festival (BIFF) features a diverse and dynamic programme of international films, screened in a unique and historical setting, The programmes include documentary, animation, fiction, expanded cinema and contemporary artists' film & video.
Selected by a team of artist-filmmakers, and run as a not-for-profit collective, the festival takes place on the Braziers Park estate, home to the annual Supernormal Festival. Films are projected to audiences in a cinema-style environment, with screenings, workshops and special events taking place inside a large, historic 17th century barn adapted for public performances, in addition to the Gothic manor house and custom-built outdoor structures. About Braziers Park:
Braziers Park School of Integrative Social Research is a community, a residential college and an architectural treasure hidden deep in the south Oxfordshire countryside. It was founded in 1950 as a progressive, not-for-profit educational trust, and is the UK's longest-running 'intentional community'. Braziers' community members share responsibility for running the mansion house, 55 acres of land, organic kitchen garden and livestock, facilitating courses and organising events assisted by visiting volunteers from around the world.
