A chess-themed short film festival.
Simultaneously with an international chess tournament, the festival will take place in Amelia in Umbria. A quality jury will select 5 short films which will then be voted by the popular jury on July 21 and 22 in Amelia. The short films will have a maximum length of 20 minutes and will be sent by July 1, 2023.
Cine V invites national and international filmmakers to participate in its First Edition to be held in the month of April 2022, in the City of Córdoba, Argentina.

NYBA DANCE FILM FEST (NEW YORK BUENOS AIRES DANCE FILM FEST) is an international dance film festival held in the cities of New York and Buenos Aires.
The festival seeks to highlight and promote the audiovisual works of dance and movement created by artists from all over the world. It’s a celebration of the new forms of expression that arise from the fusion between audiovisual language, new technologies and dance. We accept all kinds of films of up to 20 minutes in which dance and movement are the protagonists: video-dance, video art, experimental, short film or documentary. We accept entries exclusively via Festhome. Please check out our rules & terms before submitting.
***SELECTION***
The selection is carried out by a team of professionals related to video, cinema, dance and culture through a rating process.
All creators whose films are selected for screening will be notified by email and provided with specific details about the live event. We will request specific assets (biographies, stills, posters) prior to the screening.

In the year 2023, Skate or Die Film Festival returns for our second year, presented once again by the joined forces of The Farsighted and Rockstar Roller Derby. Returning to the historic Ringing Rocks Roller Rink in Pottstown, the one-of-a-kind genre film festival will once again feature live music, films from all over the world, roller skating, vendors, food, and all of the fun that we had in year one. This year, we'll also have some new wrinkles, such as a few special guests and even a dance skate class.

RE-FRAME: Debut Film Festival Vienna is now open for submissions for its 2nd edition!
Last year we had a fantastic experience at Stand129 in Vienna! In 2024 we are expanding our horizons with extra screening days, more invited guests, free filmmaking workshops and… presenting selected films from both this and 1st edition in a special programme in Basque Country (Spain) and Italy.
We are inviting young international filmmakers from the FLINTA* community to submit their debut short films to us. Additionally, we focus on low-budget independent productions (films with a budget of less than EUR 7500) to give space to unconventional stories and artistic approaches to filmmaking.
The selected films for the Viennese edition will be screened in June 2024 at Stand129 on Viktor-Adler-Markt at Stand129. We invite all selected filmmakers to take part in the festival and present their works in person. RE-FRAME provides a limited amount of free housing options for whom it is necessary. Those who are not able to join in person are welcome for a post-screening discussion via Zoom.
Additional curated programs will be presented in Club Ricreativo Di Pignolo (Bergamo) and SAMA (Vitoria-Gasteiz).
RE-FRAME is initiated and curated by (ex)-volunteers of the European Solidarity Corps programme and participants of a Solidarity Project in collaboration with Stand129 and Kulturhaus Brotfabrik.

#NarratingTheFuture: X Film & New Media Festival is a meeting point for exhibition, training and industry where local, national and regional industry professionals interested in filmmaking and audiovisual in its most recent and interesting narrative and technical trends within the digital environment meet; transmedia, web and interactive documentaries, virtual reality (VR/AR/XR), webseries, artificial intelligence, futurisms, narratives and crowdsourcing/funding, vertical video and other film and new media concepts are some of the Festival's thematic axes.
Similarly, during the event, development and creation scenarios are carried out such as the #NewMediaLab, Ibero-American laboratory for the development of new media projects and the #HackathonVR360, which this year reaches its eighth edition.
We also open the doors to the Colombian and international creative industry to create meeting and conversation points around ongoing projects: 10 tips to #NarrarElFuturo, speed networking sessions and the launch of the Hispanic American Projects Database and the new media industry manual are some of the activities in which attendees from the industry area will be able to participate in this new version.

FILMSCHOOLFEST MUNICH has been one of the most important festivals for young filmmakers worldwide since 1981. Each year, it offers young filmmakers from all over the world a platform for presenting their own short films and exchanging ideas about filmmaking. For one week each November, Munich becomes the focal point of up-and-coming international filmmaking — a place for lively exchange, networking, and discussion.
The short fiction, documentary, and animated films screened in international competition are eligible for valuable prizes, which are awarded by an independent festival jury. In addition, FILMSCHOOLFEST MUNICH presents the highly lucrative Climate Clips Award, given to clips that deal with sustainability and climate change.
