NewFilmmakers NY is New York's longest running screening series.

Events are held weekly at Anthology Film Archives, 32 Second Avenue New York, NY. Anthology is New York's iconic theater opened in 1970 by Jonas Mekas, Jerome Hill, P. Adams Sitney, Peter Kubelka, and Stan Brakhage. For more information see http://anthologyfilmarchives.org/about/about

NewFilmmakers screens roughly 700 short and feature length projects throughout the year grouped into special interest nights. Some of our ongoing programs include NewLatino, Middle East, Christian Sex, Upcoming Women, Experimental, and Crime & Punishment. NewFilmmakers is an international series with an eye towards films shot in the tri-state (NY - NJ - PA) and surrounding areas.

Throughout it's 22 year run NewFilmmakers has provided a platform for first time and veteran filmmakers. This doesn't need to be your first film to submit to NewFilmmakers. Some of the films we have had the pleasure of screening include Indie Spirit Award winner "Too Much Sleep," "The Blair Witch Project," and Academy Award winner "Mr. Hublot".

CINEMA NUBO
INTERNATIONAL LATIN FILM SHOW - 2020 EDITION

Cinema Nubo invites amateur / professional filmmakers, students, communicators and Latin American visual artists who have an audiovisual project and who are interested in promoting and disseminating their work in different Latin American countries, to participate in the international exhibition of Latin cinema, "Cinema Nubo" in its 2020 edition.

Cinema Nubo seeks to promote a dialogue, meeting, exchange and cultural approach between Latin American countries. Our main focus is those productions that have concluded their exhibition stage and / or the productions that are free of distribution in the territories of our headquarters.

Media affirmation association “MAT” (in further text: The Association) is non-governmental and non-profit voluntary association, founded for an indefinite period of time due to media affirmation of all social segments via audio-video material making, press articles and web presentation making. One of the aims of the Association is the organization of festivals which, due to their content, contribute the development of culture. From 2016. one of the organized festivals is International festival of short movies, called “Short cut”.

The Festival of short movies “Short cut” is a cultural-educational project consisting of a festival part of the competitive character and an exhibition of photographs “Objective(s)” which is of a competitive nature from this year. The name of the project itself indicates that the movie should be short (not more than 15 minutes). The movie topic should be related to one of the following: ecology, tourism or life.

A public call for authors to submit their films is from July 1 to July 15, 2020. The papers submitted will be examined by a selection committee that will not take into consideration works that contain offensive or aggressive messages or content.

The festival will be held on August 29th and 30th 2020. Movies shown at the festival are short feature movies, animated and documentary movies. The festival is open not only for the movies made by native authors, but also for the authors from all over the world.The following program consists of the photography exhibition (the theme is “Objective(s)”), which is of a competitive nature from this year.

The festival will be awarded: The first prize for the catagory of ecology, the first prize for the category of tourism and the first prize for the category of life, the prize for an animated film, the Grand Prix festival and the special prize for a special impression.It will also be awarded the first prize in the photo contest “Objective(s)”.

The festival committee select the movies which was assessed by the jury: Goran Lukić (a producer, Sremska Mitrovica) and Ranko Jurijević (marketing designer, Indjija)

The Short Cut Festival organizers organize an exhibition of photographs titled “Objective(s)” which is of a competitive nature from this year, and inviting all interested people to participate in the exhibition. Photo authors for the competition can send a maximum of 10 photos, the size of the longer page of acceptable digital photos cannot be less than 3,000 pixels, the file type can only be jpg, ie. jpeg and the maximum file size must not exceed 20MB. Photographs with personal information and contact send on shortcutfest@gmail.com with an indication for a photo contest “Short cut”, from July 1 to July 31, 2020.

Everyday Arias film festival specialises in opera and world theatre equivalents in short film format . We welcome short film submissions lasting no more than 20 minutes focusing on an aria or particular aspect of an opera from any period and tradition e.g Chinese opera, Noh, Kathakali etc

Filmmakers usually have the opportunity to screen their films more than once as we often collaborate with other festivals in conjunction with running our own at Close up Cinema in London.

Primavera Film Festival is the first itinerant festival of cinema in Barcelona. We are happy to invite all the filmmakers around the world to show their audiovisual works, short films, feature films, documentary etc. in the heart of the artistic and creative atmosphere of Barcelona where the most important directors of the world as Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu, Woody Allen, Pedro Almodovar etc. have been shooting their masterpieces.


Primavera Film will be an itinerant festival all around Barcelona, during the whole spring, in some of the most beautiful location of the city, like for example Plaza del Pì in the heart of the old city or the romantic atmosphere of Plaza del Sol in Gracia, where you can enjoy the amazing and creative mood of the city.

Primavera Film Festival will start on spring 2021, March 21.

ENTRY RULES

Submission Date:
- Entries must have been completed on or after January 1, 2018.
- We accept entries between 01/07/2020 and 28/02/2021

Language:
- Foreign language movies must be subtitled in English or Spanish. For the selected movies in the official competition we will ask a spanish subtitled version for screening.

Format:
- We accept all kind of audiovisual works and any film genre: feature films (between 60 min. and 180 min.), short films (between 1 min. and 30 min.), documentary, videoclip etc.

SUBMISSION REGULATIONS

Entry submission:
- Entries must be submitted via an online platform and include a working screener accessible via that platform in order to be considered.
Notification:
- Films selected for screening will be notified on or around March 15th, 2021.

REQUIRED SUBMISSION MATERIALS
- Entry Fee paid via Festhome. DVD are not accepted. Only by request we can accept files through Wetransfer or similar platforms and fees payment through PayPal.
- A working screener accessible via your film’s profile on Festhome or Vimeo. We also welcome works in progress, trailers, reels and other kind of distribution material.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

- The filmmaker has read and understood all the rules and regulations. The filmmaker is duly authorized to submit this film to the Primavera Film Festival Barcelona.
- Primavera Film Festival Barcelona reserves the right to disqualify any submission without refund of submission fees.
- Films could have publicly screened in the Barcelona area prior to the festival and world premieres are not requirements for Primavera Film Festival Barcelona, but this information is taken into consideration when making final programming decisions.
- All accepted films may be screened more than once, and are scheduled at the discretion of the Primavera Film Festival Barcelona staff.
- Films produced or financed by a major motion picture studio are eligible for festival screenings and also eligible for competitive awards. Films that have acquired distribution are eligible for festival screenings but are not eligible for competitive awards.
- Upon submission, the filmmaker consents to allowing their screener material to be shared in its entirety with appropriate Primavera Film Festival Barcelona staff, including programming staff, volunteer screeners, and other appropriate members of staff; shared with press outlets in efforts to secure press for the film; with final jury members; and with select individuals representing community partners who may be interested in supporting the film’s screening or taking part in a panel associated with the film.
-The festival is hereby also granted the right to utilize image(s) and/or biographical information of the filmmakers for promotional purposes. The festival reserves the right to fill in any information not supplied by the filmmaker from whatever source available and will not be responsible if incorrect information is entered.
- It is the responsibility of the filmmaker to secure authorization for any copyrighted material that may be used in the film. The filmmaker shall indemnify and hold harmless Primavera Film Festival Barcelona from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
- Primavera Film Festival Barcelona does not pay screening fees or guarantee travel or distribution for filmmakers. Anyway we will be happy to invite all the selected filmmakers in Barcelona during the festival.
- By submitting, the filmmaker expressly acknowledges and agrees that they shall be bound by the terms of this agreement.

La Asociación ACCIONS 3E, conjuntamente con la Secretaría de Medio Ambiente y Ordenamiento Territorial del Estado de Guanajuato (MAOT GTO) organizan el Festival Internacional de Cine del Medio Ambiente de México en Guanajuato (FICMA MX GTO) del del 6 al 13 de Setiembre de 2020.

Debido a las actuales circunstancias sanitarias que imposibilitan proyectar en las salas, FICMA MX GTO se desarrollará a través de una plataforma propia con demarcación territorial sólo para México para que el productor/autor pueda controlar la zona geográfica donde está proyectando su película.
FICMA MX GTO nace desde SUNCINE Barcelona (Festival Internacional de Cine del Medio Ambiente), el más antiguo del mundo en su género, que desde 1993 hasta la actualidad se celebra anualmente en la ciudad de Barcelona, España.

El FICMA MX GTO tiene como principal objetivo promover la producción audiovisual ambiental y difundirla y divulgar antes, durante y después de la celebración del evento, y entre sus principales objetivos: CONCIENCIAR, SENSIBILIZAR y EDUCAR ambientalmente a TODA LA CIUDADANIA, con el cine y el audiovisual como medio, FOMENTANDO LA PRODUCCIÓN, DIFUSIÓN Y PROMOCIÓN, haciendo especial hincapié en el Cine mexicano y latinoamericano.

The Association of Deaf People of Tolosaldea-Goierri, proposes to organize the XI. International Festival of Cinema in sign Language, awards GAINDITZEN 2020. We will have a short film contest and on the other hand, we'll present documentary and feature films in sign language.

With this project we intend to bring the new artistic and technological tendencies to the group of Deaf people and provide a space for recognition and new opportunities for this group, which rarely finds barriers to participate in Numerous cultural activities.

The International Outdoor Documentary Film Festival of China (herein after referred to as “OUTDOCS”) aims to pay tribute to the splendid world scenery and the progressive sports and adventure spirit of humanity. With films, we shares and develops China's development of sportsmanship, adventure and exploration, outdoor culture and sports.

Since the opening of the outdoor documentary film panorama section in 2017, we have actively explored the way forward to create and deliver outdoor culture. In 2018, a interactive experience outdoor carnival was held in Guangzhou International Media Harbor, causing an unprecedented grand occasion. In 2019, OUTDOCS was officially established, and for the first time, the global film collection was launched. Within one month, a total of 993 works/collections from 88 countries and regions around the world were received, covering Sport spirits, adventure, outdoor culture, extreme sports, environment protection, travel stories, mountaineer culture and community and so on. Over 10 kinds of outdoor extreme sports were involved, including wingsuit flying, paragliding, climbing, rock climbing, ice climbing, canoeing, deep diving, ultra-running, cycling, etc. With broad coverage, rich content, and award-winning films and finalists in internationally renowned mountain film festivals, OUTDOCS enjoys its international influence.

Through various ways such as award competition, public screening, outdoor event plaza and outdoor brand fair, OUTDOCS provides a platform of cultural and creative integration incubation, business cooperation and hobby communicate for outdoor documentary directors, producers, institutions, industry associations and outdoor sports enthusiasts; so as to create a humanistic value highland for documentary films on sports, outdoor culture, travel and humanities, as well as nature protection.

Buenos Aires Music Video Festival (BAMV Fest) is the first international video clip event in Argentina created to promote and reward the best performances every year. The Festival organizes various activities with the intention of forming a community of video clip makers.

The Festival in their editions has received the cooperation and participation of various institutions and organizations in cinematic character and national and international reach, such as;

• Cooperative Action Film seasonings CCAC
• National Register of Actors RNA
• Mexican Institute of Film and Humanities Research Imich

The Film Festival in Paracho had projected internationally recognized such as RUPESTRE film work; THE DOCUMENTARY, filmmaker Alberto Zúñiga and Oscar nominated short film LA PARKA by filmmaker Gabriel Serra.
