Die 18. Ausgabe des Addis International Film Festival (AIFF). Als etablierte Sozialaktivistin Äthiopiens veranstaltet Initiative Africa vom 15. bis 19. Mai 2024 ein fünftägiges Dokumentarfilmfestival mit mehr als 30 lokalen und internationalen Filmen zu den Themen Aktion für Frieden, Sicherheit und Versöhnung, Gleichstellung der Geschlechter und Inklusivität, Ernährungs- und Umweltsicherheit sowie Gesundheitswesen, das in der Alliance Ethio-Française, dem Hager Fikir Theater, dem Goethe-Institut Äthiopien und dem italienischen Kulturinstitut in Addis Abeba.

For a quarter of a century the Great Lakes International Film Festival strives to serve the interests and needs of Independent Filmmakers worldwide by connecting artists with audiences, exhibiting and promoting new films and filmmaking talent, as well as nurturing a creative independent film community worldwide.
In addition to being one of the most dynamic festivals, one of the most popular attractions that the Great Lakes International Film Festival offers to Filmmakers is our home, Erie Pennsylvania. As one of the most unique communities, Erie proffers an amazing landscape that is as diverse as the people that make up its City.
Seated on the shores of Lake Erie, the beautiful Presque Isle State Park is a peninsula with amazing beaches and trails that curve around Presque Isle Bay. This 3,112-acre park boasts 13 miles of roads, 21 miles of recreational trails, 13 beaches for swimming, a myriad of wildlife and a lovely marina.
Nearby, Waldameer Amusement Park & Water World has roller coasters and waterslides along with many other attractions to engage visiting Filmmakers and attendees alike. The Erie Maritime Museum traces the history of Lake Erie and is the homeport of the US Brig Niagara, a historic 19th-century ship.
Only a few blocks away the Erie Art Museum features a very impressive collection of 20th-century works, while a number of local playhouses deliver off-Broadway-style stage plays regularly.
Erie Pa also features a cornucopia of stunning historic architecture throughout, including the very impres-sive West Sixth Street Historic District, otherwise known as Millionaire's Row. Consisting of 117 beautiful buildings originally constructed in the Victorian era by lumber, banking, and Manufacturing barons such as Peter Herdic as their homes. Millionaire's Row now stands as a remarkable testament to an age long past.
In addition to awarding outstanding Filmmakers with Best of Genre Awards, our Festival offers an audience Choice Award to the Filmmaker whose film is the most popular with our attendees, and that receives the most attendee votes.
Since our inception, the Great Lakes International Film Festival has showcased more than 4,000 films, and has played host to countless celebrities and actors, and has amassed a formidable catalog of exceptionally high caliber Independent Films and career launches, with countless films that have gone on to be screened on the Sundance Channel, IFC, PBS and HBO along with so many more filmmakers who have received dis-tribution deals after screening in our festival.
While the success of the GLIFF has not come from an excess of big-name celebrities crowding its red car-pet, we feel that it instead is rooted in the much more important attention to detail that we offer, and most significantly, the very personal way in which we interact with each and every Filmmaker who has allowed us the honor of presenting their films over the past 25 years, doing our best to make each Filmmaker a part of our Festival family with ties that bind far beyond only one festival season.
Showcasing the best films of the 2026 season, the Great Lakes International Film Festival will be held LIVE in the great city of Erie, Pennsylvania starting on September 24, 2026, with our virtual screenings con-tinuing through October 10, 2026.
Though we have never focused on the big name Hollywood celebrities, still our Festival has played host to numerous special guests that include, writer, producer Bill Hinzman of Flesheaters and Night of the Living Dead; director Lloyd Kaufman of the Toxic Avenger films, Pot Zombies, and President of Troma Films; ac-tor Gunnar Hansen of Texas Chainsaw Massacre; actor and director Mark Borchardt of American Movie and Coven; Erick Rodgers (Writer of NYPD Blue); best-selling mystery author Jamian Snow (Shrouded Insani-ty); John Hancock (“Hill Street Blues”, “The Twilight Zone”, & California Dreaming); actress and “Scream Queen” Debbie Rochon (Blood Relic, Vampyre Tales, & Lord of the Undead); Bobby Logan (Meatballs 4 & Repossessed), along with so many more.
As one of the premier film festivals worldwide, the Great Lakes International Film Festival held its inaugural festival in the fall of 2002, welcoming internationally acclaimed celebrities like Dirk Benedict, best known for his work on Battlestar Galactica and A-Team, along with Hollywood script guru Harri James who worked as script supervisor for blockbuster films and TV Shows as ER, Alias, Tremors II: Aftershocks, and Tremors 4: The Legend Begins, to name only a few.
In that same year, B.J. and the Bear & Up in Smoke producer, Otto Felix visited the festival along with the renowned Keith Carradine being presented with a lifetime achievement award for his dedication and con-tributions to indie film.
Since that time, the Great Lakes International Film Festival has had many films go on to greatness like “The Derby Stallion” which was released through Echo Bridge Home Entertainment, a subsidiary of Disney, and Director Joel Miller’s film “The Still Life” that received distribution through Warner Home Video after having been screened at the festival.
As far back as 2004, the Great Lakes International Film Festival had the proud pleasure to present the North East United States Premiere of “SAW”, Lions Gate Films’ gripping psychological thriller starring Cary Elwes, Danny Glover, Monica Potter, and Leigh Whannel.
The legendary Terry Moore was our special guest of honor and was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her amazing accomplishments in film over the past 60 years, while international recording su-perstar Dizzy Reed of Guns ‘N Roses performed before a capacity crowd at our Film Festival.
Considered among the most popular film festivals in the world, the 25th annual Great Lakes International Film Festival genre categories for feature-length and short-length films are Narrative, Documentary, Expe-rimental, Religious/Spiritual, Animation, Comedy, Horror, with Horror sub-genres that include Supernatural, Thrillers, Wicken, Magical, Slashers, Science Fiction, Suspense, Horror Documentary, Horror Animation and all genres of Music Videos and GLBT films for the 2026 festival.

ENTRY FEE FOR SUBMISSIONS OF FILMS:
(1) Entry fees for FEATURE FILMS (Duration: 50 mins to 105 mins max) : 5000/- INR or (63.23 USD)
(2) Entry fees for SHORT FILMS (Duration: 00.10 mins to 00.50 mins): 3,000/- INR or (36.27 USD)
(3) ANIMATION FILMS in all categories (Duration: 00.05 mins to 00.30 mins max).
(4) Entry fees for STUDENT FILMS: 1500/-INR or (21USD)
(LATE ENTRY FEES WILL BE DOUBLE THE ENTRY FEES MENTIONED ABOVE APPLICABLE TO FILMS SUBMITTED BEYOND THE DEADLINE ANNOUNCED)
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
1.Films without English Subtitles (except English Films), shall not be considered for selection.
2.Films submitted with watermarks or logos shall be rejected.
3.Only Trailers or promos cannot be submitted for selection process.
4.Film Download link with password is preferred, DVD or Bluray are also accepted as hard copies.
5.If submitting hard copies, Two full HD DVDs/Bluray should be sent by courier to the Festival office along with a hard copy of this entry form duly filled. DVDs must be labeled with film title, director name, duration, phone number and email id on them. Director pic, Poster, Film Stills may be attached in an email.
6. For submissions coming from outside India, the packages must be marked, “For Festival & Cultural Purpose only, No Commercial value”.
7. DIFF does not pay screening fees to film makers.
8. DIFF will not return the Films submitted online or vide DVDs/Pen Drives/ Blu-ray etc. during or after the festival.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. DIFF reserves the right to showcase the film so submitted perpetually anywhere ( other festivals, television, online etc).
2. DIFF reserves the right to include the film and related material in its promotional activities.
3. All Decisions made by the Appointed “Selection Committee” regarding Selections, screenings, awards at the Festival in entirety will be final. In case of Dispute, decision of the President is final.
4. The film makers and their representatives undertake to use the official logo and the status of their Selection or Award strictly in conformation with DIFF 2022 designs and they further undertake to use such festival logo in all their promotions, posters and marketing publications with the consent of the festival.
5. A film selected for the festival does not run in competition automatically. A Jury will select the films which feature in Competition.
6. The Festival shall not bear / reimburse any freight or other charges in foreign or Indian currency.
7. Once selected for screening, the film shall not be withdrawn.
8. The last date of submissions of ENTRIES IS 10.12.2024 and Date of Intimation of Selection will be 15.12.2024
The Twin Tiers International Film Festival is dedicated to finding, promoting and encouraging new filmmakers to showcase their films and let their voices be heard. We will foster an engaging and inspiring atmosphere in an historic setting with small town flair.
We decided to create a festival where feature films would get the recognition they deserve. Too often, film festivals include features as one category, as such they all compete for the same award(s). It is about time to change course on this standard and recognize all the different genres of features so that certain genres will not be overlooked as sometimes they are. We know you have put so much hard work into creating your film and we want to recognize you!
Every film submitted to us will be viewed start to finish and graded by our judging panel of industry professionals. Our goal is to showcase as many films as possible across all film genres of any length. We have a big heart for local film and encourage local filmmakers to submit their work, regardless of experience. We also want to encourage international filmmakers to submit and visit the festival!
We know how hard the festival circuit can be. We are filmmakers ourselves. We want to invite you to our festival which is all about you, the filmmaker. Each filmmaker should feel that they and their work is of the upmost importance. At the festival, we will provide ample networking opportunities for our filmmakers. Also, various workshops will be scheduled to allow you to maximize your festival experience. We love film and we hope you'll love our festival and continue to choose to show your films with us! Das Cisterna Film Festival ist ein internationales Kurzfilmfestival, das jährlich im Juli in Cisterna di Latina, Italien, stattfindet. Im Laufe der Jahre hat sich das Festival als lebendiger Treffpunkt für zeitgenössisches Kurzkino etabliert und zeigt herausragende Werke aufstrebender und etablierter Filmemacher aus der ganzen Welt. Das Festival wird vom Kulturverein Mobilitazioni Artistiche organisiert und von der Gemeinde Cisterna di Latina gefördert. Die künstlerische Leitung liegt bei Cristian Scardigno.
Von 2015 bis 2025 präsentierte das Cisterna Film Festival eine große Auswahl an nationalen und internationalen Premieren, darunter Filme, die auf großen Festivals wie Cannes, Venedig, Berlin, Sundance und Clermont-Ferrand gezeigt wurden, sowie preisgekrönte Werke, die mit den renommiertesten Filmpreisen ausgezeichnet wurden, darunter den Academy Awards, David di Donatello Awards, César Awards und Goya Awards.
Seit 2017 bietet das Festival eine Sektion „Focus“, die jedes Jahr einem bestimmten Land gewidmet ist und den kulturellen Austausch und den internationalen Dialog durch das Kino fördert. Die Sektion wurde 2017 mit einem Schwerpunkt auf Polen eröffnet und vom Polnischen Institut in Rom unterstützt. 2018 folgte Irland in Zusammenarbeit mit der Irish Film Festa und der irischen Botschaft. 2019 richtete das Festival seine Aufmerksamkeit mit Unterstützung von German Films und der Deutschen Botschaft in Rom auf Deutschland und 2021 in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Drama International Short Film Festival, einem Festival, das für den Oscar qualifiziert ist, auf Griechenland.
Im Jahr 2022 präsentierte das Cisterna Film Festival mit Unterstützung des Kroatischen Audiovisuellen Zentrums eine kuratierte Auswahl von Kurzfilmen aus Kroatien. Im Jahr 2023 veranstaltete das Festival in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Consulat Général de France à Jérusalem und dem palästinensischen Kulturministerium einen Schwerpunkt auf Kurzfilmen palästinensischer Filmemacher. Im Jahr 2025 richtete das Festival in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Festival de Cine Ínstar in Havanna einen Schwerpunkt auf Kuba aus.
Jedes Jahr begrüßt das Cisterna Film Festival führende Persönlichkeiten der internationalen Film- und Unterhaltungsindustrie und bereichert sein Programm durch eine Vielzahl von Begleitveranstaltungen, darunter Buchpräsentationen, Workshops für Jugendliche und Fotoausstellungen, was seine Rolle als dynamisches Kulturzentrum für Kino und Kunst bestätigt.

Im Herzen der iranischen Hauptstadt Teheran gelegen, zollt Fajr International Film Festival eine Hommage an hochwertige nationale und internationale Filme. Es ist eine Veranstaltung, die den kulturellen Austausch feiert, kreative Leistungen von hochgelobten Cineastern und Newcomern zeigt und Filme präsentiert, die künstlerischen Beitrag zum Medium fördern. Inzwischen bietet der International Film Market, besser bekannt als IFM, eine hervorragende Chance für den Erwerb und Verkauf von Filmrechten, Koproduktionsprojekten und bietet Unterstützung bei der Produktion und Vorführung neuer iranischer Filme. In dieser Ausgabe wird der Markt als Online-Veranstaltung gebildet werden.
Nach der Absage des Festivals im Jahr 2020 aufgrund des Ausbruchs von COVID-19 wird die 38. Ausgabe des Internationalen Filmfestivals Fajr vom 26. Mai bis 2. Juni 2021 in Teheran unter der Leitung des iranischen Filmemachers Mohammad Mehdi Asgarpour stattfinden.

CortiFestival (Bildungszentren): Kurzfilme von Studenten, die darauf abzielen, die audiovisuelle Sprache in den Unterricht zu bringen und das Kino als didaktisches Werkzeug in Bildungszentren einzuführen.

TIRANA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL ist das erste internationale Filmfestival, das 2003 als eines der wichtigsten Filmveranstaltungen in Europa ins Leben gerufen wurde.

Die Absicht von TIFF ist es, Filmemacher, Produzenten und Verleiher aus der ganzen Welt nach Tirana zu bringen, in der Hoffnung, die zukünftige Zusammenarbeit in diesem interessanten landschaftlich reizvollen Gebiet zu fördern. Durch die Zusammenführung dieser unterschiedlichen Stimmen und ihrer Arbeit verpflichtet sich TIFF, dem Publikum alternative Visionen von außergewöhnlicher Vielfalt näher zu bringen. „Think Different, Watch Alike“ ist der Slogan und das Motto von TIFF.
TIFF zielt darauf ab, eine starke Effizienz bei der Publikumsentwicklung (insbesondere gegenüber einem jungen Publikum) zu demonstrieren, indem Aktivitäten vor, während und nach der Veranstaltung durchgeführt werden, einschließlich einjähriger Aktivitäten und Reisen in andere Städte mit verschiedenen kleineren Partnern und kleineren Festivals im Land. Das Festival erhält jährlich aus über 120 Ländern auf der ganzen Welt Tausende von Einreichungen aus der Online-Einreichung über Online-Plattformen, die sich für die Auswahl bewerben. TIFF ist eine internationale Kinoveranstaltung, deren Hauptziel es ist, die Anzahl der Veranstaltungsorte und die Zeit der Vorführung europäischer und außereuropäischer Filme aller Genres und Dauer in Albanien zu erhöhen. Es wird als Veranstaltung angesehen, um ein neues Publikum im ganzen Land zu gewinnen, indem Filmvorführungen mit öffentliche Debatten und thematische Debatten, die sich einem neuen und wachsenden Filmpublikum nähern und sich auch auf Filmkompetenz konzentrieren.

4. DREHBUCH CONTESTIFF
Besteht in der Anwendung von originalen Live-Action- und Animationskurzfilmdrehbüchern und anderen Kurzform-Skripten aller Genres (max. 20 Seiten).
Der besagte Wettbewerb zielte nicht darauf ab, nur das beste Drehbuch zu bewerten, sondern von unseren Partnern, Produzenten und Verleihern das beste und mögliche Drehbuch zu bewerten, das von ihnen produziert werden sollte und mit den größten Chancen, erfolgreich auf den beliebtesten internationalen Festivals für Kurzfilme vertrieben zu werden.
B. SONDERPROGRAMM & VORFÜHRUNGEN
Neben dem Wettbewerbsprogramm reserviert TIFF einen großen Raum für die speziellen Programme und Vorführungen.
1. FOCUS ist ein spezielles Programm, das auf einer Hommage oder Hommage an den Kinoautor und/oder der Filmografie eines bestimmten Landes basiert.
2. RetrospectiFF und TIFF Classics bringen die prominentesten nationalen oder internationalen Autoren der Filmgeschichte dem neuen Publikum näher.

4. REFLECING ALBANIA ist das älteste Programm des Festivals, das ausländischen Filmemachern gewidmet ist, die ihre Filme in Albanien oder im albanischsprachigen Raum produziert haben. Festiffal ist ein spezielles Programm mit ausgewählten Filmen von Festivalpartnern.

C. NEUE FUNKTIONEN — PARALLELE VORFÜHRUNGEN
Das TIRANA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL freut sich, vier wichtige Dienstleistungen für die Bewerber bekannt zu geben. Seit seiner Gründung im Jahr 2003 erhielt TIFF über 40.000 Kurz- und Spielfilme aus über 120 Ländern auf der ganzen Welt. Aus all diesen Bewerbungen können jedes Jahr mehr als 200 Filme für das Wettbewerbsprogramm ausgewählt werden. Mit diesen vier neuen Diensten bietet TIFF die Möglichkeit, viele Filme auf alternative Weise (TV, Online, Markt, spezielle Programme) einem breiteren Publikum und Experten zu zeigen.
Die Antragsteller müssen sich optional eindeutig für jede dieser neuen Dienstleistungen bewerben.

Mit unseren Medien-TV-Partnern bieten wir Regisseuren die Möglichkeit, ihre Filme (ausgewählt für das offizielle Wettbewerbsprogramm oder nicht) dem albanischen Publikum zu zeigen und die TV-Jurys und Publikumspreise zu gewinnen.
• TIFF auf Tour
TIFF wird als Botschafter für die eingereichten Filme fungieren und im Laufe des Jahres mit einer Auswahl in andere albanische Städte reisen. TIFF wird auch Sondervorführungen für andere regionale Festivals vorschlagen, die einem bestimmten Thema oder Thema jedes kollaborativen Festivals entsprechen.
• TIFF-Online-Bibliothek
TIFF bietet die Online-Präsentation jedes Films auf einer eigenen Seite als Teil einer Filmbibliothek mit allen zugehörigen Informationen und mit der Möglichkeit, Kommentare des internationalen Internetpublikums und der internationalen Industrie zu erhalten. Die Vorführung von Filmen steht allen kostenlos offen. Die Filme können in der Filmbibliothek angesehen werden, solange der Regisseur/Produzent dies wünscht.
• TIFF Market Corner
TIFF wird eine Marktecke schaffen, in der potenzielle Käufer alle Filme ansehen und ihre Auswahl treffen können. TIFF wird auch als Festivalförderer und Distributor auftreten. Im Falle eines Finanzvertrags mit einem Vertriebshändler erhält TIFF eine Gebühr von 5%.
