Le Festival international du cinéma et de la vidéo verte du Venezuela ouvre sa convocation pour la 12ème édition du 2 au 6 décembre 2024. Podrán presentarse cortometrajes estudiantiles de cualquier latitud, en una única categoría, siempre y cuando versen sobre la temática AMBIENTAL.

Notre mission : proposer une alternative aux expériences environnementales et écologiques qui visent à rétablir les liens parentaux entre tous les êtres biotiques et abiotiques. L'exposition sur les récits audiovisuels verts est liée à d'autres expériences de streaming, de médias, de transmédia et de réseaux sociaux, générant un réseau de liens virtuels que nous voulons transformer en liens parentaux.

We are proud to present Jonas Georgakakis' "Saga of Biorn" a ferociously funny animated Nordic tale divulging the absolute truth about how one might earn the right to enter Valhalla. Then there is Javier Mrad's "Techopolis," an absolutely amazing 12min stop motion piece resembling Fritz Lang's Metropolis black and white film. This is the only show where so many entertaining films like these take the spotlight and are given full theatrical effect.
Before the "Festival of Animation" it was difficult to see independent, experimental, and foreign animation. Spike and Mike embarks on yearly world-wide film hunting expeditions. They have signed-on animation from the National Film Board of Canada, Cal Arts, Sheridan, Royal College of Art, Annecy, and select studios active amongst the art-house scene that at one time did not have a public venue. This Festival has come to be known as one of the most anticipated touring events on the circuit.
Initially, Spike and Mike produced the "Classic Festival" and later both the "Classic" and "Sick and Twisted" simultaneously- but by the early 2000s, the "Classic Festival of Animation" was phased into hiatus by the Sick and Twisted Festival (mainly featuring shorts venturing into the non sequitur e.g. "Lloyd's Lunchbox"). "The Festival" (meaning the current show) premieres a new cavalcade of adventurous films annually. Spike & Mike's "New Generation Animation" noted as the latest genre in animation, without question is now premiering the most captivating film-set of thought provoking concepts, humor, story, and daring production design in animation.
In animation, it is important to have an accurate gauge on the pulsating shifts in pop culture. Spike and Mike's content has evolved with the changing tastes of our times. The shows in their entirety have toured globally in theaters, film festivals (such as Cannes, Sundance, Annecy), college campuses, and dynamic events such as the Vans Warped Tour, the Winter X Games, and with the nu-metal band Korn.

Arlington International Film Festival (AIFF) is an award winning organization with its mission being to foster appreciation for different cultures by exploring the lives of people around the globe through independent film. In 2014 AIFF was awarded the Community Recognition Award by the Arlington Martin Luther King Committee, in 2013 the Alan McClennen Community Arts Award by the Arlington Center for the Arts and the Gold Star Award by the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Through the founding of AIFF, the mission has also focused on enriching the community and broadening the view of our world and ourselves. We Still Live Here directed by Anne Makepeace was chosen by the U.S. State Department to screen around the world.
The Unreal Film Festival is an annual film competition held in September in Memphis, TN. The festival accepts both short and feature length films from all over the world, but only films that fall under the horror, sci-fi, and/or fantasy film genres.

Le festival du court métrage de Prokuplje, fondé en 2011, est le plus jeune festival de films de Serbie. À Prokplje, le public peut découvrir le meilleur du documentaire, de l'expérimental, de l'animation et de la fiction du monde entier. Des milliers de films du monde entier arrivent à l'adresse du festival, comme en témoignent les nombreux spectateurs de Prokuplje, mais aussi d'autres villes de Serbie et de la région, car l'équipe organise une tournée au cours de laquelle les meilleurs films sont présentés dans plus de 30 villes. L'absence de cinéma, ainsi que l'absence de cinéma comme matière à l'école, empêchent les jeunes de s'initier à cet art.
Pour avoir accès à ce contenu, les jeunes doivent se rendre à Nis, voire à Belgrade. C'est l'occasion de découvrir à Prokuplje les derniers courts métrages du monde entier. Ces dernières années, selon des recherches, il y a eu une baisse de la fréquentation des festivals dans le monde entier. C'est pourquoi et parce que le film a été présenté aux jeunes, nous avons apporté l'œuvre avec eux, dans toutes les écoles primaires et secondaires, qui constituent un public potentiel et seront animées par la présentation de films du festival et par une discussion sur l'importance du festival. En plus de travailler avec les jeunes de Prokuplje, le ciné-club de Prokuplje est le premier à commencer à animer le public des zones rurales, qui sont totalement exclues de tous les événements, en particulier des événements culturels.

Each month, NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) presents red carpet screenings of documentary, short and feature films that have been submitted from all over the world, followed by a Q&A with each films director. The Short Film Festival of Great ABC is a call to fostering, development and promotion of audiovisual production in the ABC Paulista, the Greater São Paulo area and capital. It is intended for beginners producers, students and local professionals to discover its diversity and identity, promoting a dialogue among residents of the region with other regions of São Paulo and throughout Brazil.

Zagreb Green Fest is a pilot project from the Non governmental organization RIO – Zagreb, who, through cinema, education, expositions and activity programs dedicated to the ecology and environmental protection, encourages a culture of life with respect for nature.
The entry to the festival is free.
The festival program is divided into three sections:
- Green Genre
- Green Classroom
- Green Career.
The cinema portion of the festival, the “Green Genre” is divided into two segments: the competitive short film side and the “runway”, where everything is presented. The program has an international feeling, the festival participants would have the possibility to see various local films, European and international films with the subject of ecology, earth’s protection and other subjects linked with these themes. The objective here is to encourage university, primary and secondary school students to include themselves into the festival, alone or in a group. They can produce amateur films there, and can present them during the second part of the Green Genre.
The Green Classroom is an educational part of the festival, to enlighten people creatively with the help of experts.
The activities for the students are very important. They include workshops and conferences, as well as demonstrations. Next to the workshops, the festival participants could see shows for all ages.
The Green Career proposes a program full of shows, where various “green” products will be shown, as well as inventions and initiatives.
Green Career is a segment of the festival directed towards an ecological area, for students and professionals. Companies with important information’s will be present to aid students with what they need for a chance at a future job.
The ministries will also present their plans and programs, and the possibilities for the future graduates. Their participation will be taken into account by the faculties which will demonstrate their paths leading to the mentioned domains, and the individuals whose projects have been put in place.
There will be a free addition to the festival, where there will be free yoga classes, dance classes and meditation throughout the whole festival, as well as a presentation of bio food producers and art works depicting ecological subjects.

L'Obscura Filmfest a été fondé par David Ghane en 2016 et est dirigé par lui seul depuis lors. Passionné de films de genre depuis 1996, il participe à plusieurs festivals de films par an depuis 2004, donne parfois un coup de main, joue le rôle de figurant dans des films d'horreur et est un collectionneur de films extrêmes.
L'Obscura Filmfest est spécialisé dans les films de série B divertissants et fantastiques, des films rarement projetés dans les salles de cinéma. Ils présentent principalement de grands blockbusters ou des films d'auteur que l'on peut retrouver dans la plupart des autres festivals de films ordinaires. Même des festivals comparables élargissent leurs programmes pour inclure de plus en plus d'œuvres d'art et d'essai. Ceux qui préfèrent les petits films indépendants divertissants et spéciaux, mais qui peuvent également imaginer des productions plus importantes provenant de pays lointains, trouveront ce qu'ils recherchent au Obscura Filmfest : des films amusants, bruts et intransigeants ; des petits films d'horreur méchants aux épopées de combat asiatiques, il y en a pour tous les fans, mais pas d'ennui.
Tout a commencé avec de petits films underground de grindhouse, décalés, trash et dépravés, tandis que The Obscura diffuse également des films commerciaux de taille moyenne qui sont négociés sur les grands marchés du film.
Parmi les temps forts des éditions précédentes du festival, citons les avant-premières allemandes du film d'action cyberpunk argentin « Daemonium », le thriller ukrainien « Egregor », le film de zombies philippin « Day Zero », le film d'horreur danois « Finale », la comédie fantôme « Deadtectives » et les deux films de Backwoods « What the Waters Left Behind » et sa suite « Scars » 5 ans plus tard.
Les avant-premières européennes du film de super-héros comique indonésien « Valentine » et du film « Drifter » de Backwoods ont également été projetées.
Un autre moment fort a été la folle fête japonaise « Kodoku - Meatball Machine », qui peut se targuer d'une longue histoire de festivals, y compris les plus grands festivals du genre, ainsi que de la production « The Hunt » de Universal/Blumhouse.
Avec « Redbad » et « The Great Battle », deux grandes épopées de combat ont également été projetées à l'Obscura.
Des visiteurs de la région de la Ruhr ont même assisté à l'avant-première allemande du film d'exploitation percutant « Trauma » à Hanovre.
Après sa première internationale à l'Obscura, le film de cowboys « Lasso » a été projeté quelques mois plus tard au célèbre Frightfest britannique.
En 2022, The Obscura a connu ses deux premiers longs métrages en avant-première mondiale avec « All through the Hall » et « Hidden in the Woods II ».
À chaque festival du film Obscura, des invités présentaient leur film en personne et étaient disponibles pour une séance de questions-réponses. Ils venaient d'Irlande, du Royaume-Uni, de Belgique, de Finlande, du Danemark, d'Espagne, de Grèce, de Hongrie, des Pays-Bas, des États-Unis, d'Argentine, du Mexique, de Colombie et bien sûr d'Allemagne.

Le 10e festival du film d'horreur Morce-go Vermelho - GOIAS HORROR FILM FESTIVAL - est un festival de films au cœur du Brésil, qui proposera des œuvres audiovisuelles contemporaines et une restauration historique liées aux thèmes de l'horreur, du suspense et de l'horreur.
