9th EUREKA UNIVERSITY FILM FESTIVAL 2023
The conditions described below correspond to the requirements proposed by EUREKA University Film Festival and its programming team. The registration and selection of audiovisual pieces sent by those students and filmmakers who would like to be part of the official programming depend on these requirements, bases and conditions.
EUREKA University Film Festival is an event initially organized by students from the University Jorge Tadeo Lozano of Bogota and students from different universities in Colombia. The festival will take place from September 01 to 08, 2023 in the city of Bogotá D.C., Colombia.
The call for entries will be open from March 11st until June 01rd, 2023. The only platform we will enable to receive the audiovisual material will be :

Desde "La casta Susana", con Mirtha Legrand, hasta "Miami Vice", la playa y las construcciones costeñas han otorgado un set de rodaje realmente inspirador para realizadores y público. Our Story
in 2009 as an informal project to showcase independent cinema in the recondite alleys of Alfama, projected against its iconic stone walls.
In the following years, Cinalfama matured and became a competitive event of an international character, as well as a cultural reference in Lisbon.
The nature of the events has changed over the years, but the atmosphere, films and venues remain as intimate as they have always been.

Founded in 1914, Grupo Sportivo Adicense is one of the oldest and most authentic remaining symbols of Alfama’s true soul.
World famous fado singers started their careers waiting tables at this historical institution – one that still stands in the face of constant change and mischaracterisation of the neighbourhood’s urban landscape
Screening Sessions
Tucked into the backstreets of Lisbon’s old town, Alfama, our intimate screenings take place in the city’s oldest cultural house, Grupo Sportivo Adicense.
We host three seasonal screening editions throughout the year, to showcase and award the best talent and films of each one. These are free entrance and all films have English subtitles.
Due to the current pandemic and associated restrictions, we have decided to host next January 2024 edition online, making available a selection of the very best films of the season. Aiming to have live screenings back real soon.

After 9 years successfully running in Chicago we are expanding based on feedback that filmmakers want a strong comedy film festival in Los Angeles. The deadline to register for the XXIII International Short Film Festival “El Pecado 2024” is open. This year we increased the amount of the prizes: 1,500 euros for the winning fiction short film and 700 euros for the other four main prizes. The deadline to register is from Monday, April 8 to Friday, May 31 of this year. The duration will not exceed 20 minutes (21 including credits). If it has spoken sound, Spanish or subtitles in this language will be used.
Works made before 2022 will not be admitted to the competition. The festival awards almost €5,000 in prizes and five Pata Negra hams from Extremadura. More information at www.certamenelpecado.com.
