Join the most popular IMD-b qualifying Monthly Festival in Europe!
+700 five stars reviews, thousands of submissions from 150+ countries in the world. Now with monthly Italian press coverage!

$105.000 WORTH OF PRIZES IN SERVICES EVERY YEAR

In the monthly film festivals panorama, many events are unethical and non-transparent, providing minimal value and grabbing money from filmmakers without committing to promote and showcase their work the best they can. We are working on Rome Prisma Film Awards to change this system for the better, creating an always improving stage-by-stage monthly festival that revolves around live screenings in Rome and around the creation of a community of filmmakers from all over the world, with submission costs within reach of everyone. Your film can participate with other independent movies and with world-class talents in a fair competition where everybody starts on the same line.

WE LOOK FOR MEANING, WE LOOK FOR UNITY, WE LOOK FOR BALANCE

Rome Prisma Film Awards were founded by Stefano Perletta in 2018. Hosted by Cinema Azzurro Scipioni, in its first year it saw Silvano Agosti as the president of the jury, a legendary italian director that has worked alongside the greatest italian professionals like Storaro, Morricone, Piovani and many others. Over the course of its second year it moved to Cinema dei Piccoli, one of the oldest movie theaters of Rome in the heart of Villa Borghese park since 1934.

Our winning films have gone all the way to A-tier festivals like “May Day”, 1st annual awards winner and Oscar-shortlisted film, “Alien“ by Yeon Je-Wang and “Inanimate” by Lucia Bulgheroni that got into Cannes Cinefondation, “Pierdete entre los muertos” by Ruben Gutierrez that was showcased into the feature films at Rotterdam Film Festival and many others.

Since 2020 the artistic director Marcello Di Trocchio stepped in, creating a series of very popular online screenings on Twitch during the pandemic. In 2021, the festival came back live at Cinema Farnese, one of the oldest and most prestigious cinema in Rome.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES WITH OTHER MONTHLY FESTIVALS

▪ Our festival has a stage-to-stage competition that revolves around live screenings every two months.
▪ We have adopted an Ethics and Transpacency policy you will find at https://www.romeprismafilmawards.com/ethics/.
▪ We won't ask for multiple submissions in different categories. One submission is valid for all the 24 awards. We won't charge a hundred dollars for your submission.
▪ We will watch your movie with care and respect.
▪ All submissions get more than $40 in discounts in our partner festivals during the next months. So it is practically free!
▪ The most winning films, filmmakers and screenwriter stay in our Hall of Fame © forever.

HOW OUR STAGE-TO-STAGE COMPETITION WORKS

Our festival goes through different stages. For a complete and clear recap head on to: https://www.romeprismafilmawards.com/awards/

**Become a part of one of the most popular IMDb annual Festivals!**

Welcome to the Bristol Independent Film Festival. We are one of the UK’s fastest-growing independent film festivals!

Since we started in 2016 we have had submissions from over 120 countries. We pride ourselves on being an international film festival. We aspire to promote, recognize, and support independent filmmakers throughout the world by hosting a variety of awards to provide the best opportunities for filmmakers and help them receive their deserved recognition. We welcome submissions from a range of genres including short films, documentaries, features, animations, and screenplays.

Why BIFF?

•We aim to create a community of independent film-makers and an environment where we can celebrate independent films and our submitters’ creations.
•For each event, we provide networking booklets that include information about each winner and ways to contact them. We also provide trophies and winners packs.
•Each season we offer cash prizes to our favorite submissions to help fund their future projects.
•Finally, we aim to establish personal relationships with our submitters. We always enjoy finally meeting with our filmmakers/ scriptwriters and being able to celebrate their accomplishments in person.

Why Bristol?

Bristol was recently recognized by UNESCO as a “City of Film” alongside the likes of Sydney, Rome, and Galway. We pride ourselves on being the largest celebration of independent film in Bristol and we aim to create a hub for independent film-makers.

Judging Process?

Our submissions are judged by a jury of international industry professionals. They rate each submission on 10 different categories including cinematography, writing, pacing, and creativity. This helps them decide which submissions make it to the final stage where there will be jury group viewings to make sure we only pick the best quality submissions.

We look forward to viewing your creations and hope to meet you at our 5th annual celebration of independent film.

The Standalone Film Festival & Awards is in its 3rd Season and renamed as Lumiére Standalone Film Festival & Awards. We want to dedicate our good intentional motive to be blessed by the fathers of Cinematography Lumiére Brothers, who invented the CINEMA. In the 1st season, Mr. Kumaar Aadarsh visioned bringing independent filmmakers together from all across the world, and his vision became true. 1st time, in a 7 days festival 143 independent films from all over the world were shown at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood from August 06 to 12. On August 12, 2021, in spite of COVID restrictions, facilitated 43 categories of Awards. Kumaar is an Indian movie-maker, distributor, exhibitor, and actor based in Mumbai. Being an independent filmmaker he understands the problems of standalone makers. Producing films and making money from those are totally different compartments. On August 12, 2021, during the Award show, he promised to assist all filmmakers who participated or who will participate in the future in releasing, exhibiting, and distributing by providing them a separate dashboard for their movie exploitation all over the world. We are working continuously to empower independent filmmakers. We created the marketplace for them to MONETIZE their films. We are now more powerful with the creation of our digital-theatrical marketing tools. Standing alone has limited power but when all standalone unite, they Rise-Together. All filmmakers who would be part of SFFA able to operate independently of our marketplace software.

Therefore, In this season, Standalone will be with a transparent dashboard for each selected film.
We created history by organizing the physical festival and Award show during the Pandemic in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

This is a unique kind of film festival for independent filmmakers/content creators where there are no barriers to borders, languages, genres, etc. Based in California, USA, this festival is having an online Award Nomination Festival, live screenings, and Standalone Award Show in Los Angeles.

SFFA is consolidating filmmakers around the world for a wonderful presentation of cinematography and the unveiling of new talents. A committee comprising members from the film industry preview submitted films and select good works of motion pictures for the Award Nomination Festival.

The selected films participate in The Online Awards nomination Festival which is held between Jan-April. In 2021-22 years, due to the pandemic situation, it was between February 1, and March 31, our virtual theatre app, STANDALONE STREAM available online across the World.

Films screen through this secure server screener where visitors and guests from around the world can witness and vote for the film. On the basis of viewers' choices and votes, films are nominated for 42 categories of Awards that screen lives in Theatres and honor filmmakers, actors, and technicians at The Standalone Awards Show in different countries of the world on the 7th day of live screenings.

In 2021, The theatre venue was the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre, this year it is again in the heart of Hollywood. We will screen all award-nominated films here as well as we are looking forward to creating year-round screening, filmmaking, and writing opportunities to that end we are launching new festivals as part of the Standalone Film Festival & Awards.

SFFA Submissions are for feature narratives, Short films, Shows, Series, documentaries, animation, and even experimental films and music videos.
