Our emphasis is on the stunning artistic achievements taking place at the crossroads of Eurasia, where the culture and art of Europe, Asia and Central Asia and the Balkan Republics, are informing and cross-fertilizing one another. It is a story that needs to be told, and the presence in New York of vibrant immigrant communities from all these countries makes New York the ideal venue for this important event.

6th NEW YORK EURASIAN FILM FESTIVAL
is the largest showcase of short, feature films and documentaries in New York from Eurasian continent. With over 50 films from more than 20 countries will be screened in Summer 2022.
HISTORY:
NEW YORK EURASIAN FILM FESTIVAL was founded in 2010 by New York-Independent filmmakers, highlights a selection of the Festival's programs that strongly reflect, revive, newly interpret or celebrate important cultural heritage.
We have begun the process of building new cultural markers and turning them into a creative environment for full-blooded digital existence and recreation with vibrant communities and innovative filmmakers.
We claim that we have started a process of creating an "innovative cultural event-festival" which will present and distribute unconventional, professional, student films, works of art, and practices that are characterized by a synthesis of art and science, architecture, design, technology, pedagogy, education, ecology, healthcare, etc.
On the festival platform, directors, screenwriters, cameramen, sound directors, editing directors will be promoted, with the opportunity to create international co-productions for the production of new film projects.

With a mission of building a support platform for young filmmakers around the world and promoting cooperation among the international film industry, we're bringing together global representatives from film, television, literature, media communication and other fields to discuss the international communication of culture and the development path of the film industry in the world.
Filmwave International Film Festival is quarterly competition, each quarterly selection or winners will automatically enter the annual award ceremony. Festival will showcase up and coming and innovative film talent. It is designed chiefly to build bridges between global film-makers.

NYBA DANCE FILM FEST (NEW YORK BUENOS AIRES DANCE FILM FEST) is an international dance film festival held in the cities of New York and Buenos Aires.
The festival seeks to highlight and promote the audiovisual works of dance and movement created by artists from all over the world. It’s a celebration of the new forms of expression that arise from the fusion between audiovisual language, new technologies and dance. It's a festival dedicated to screendance lovers, filmmakers, choreographers and dancers.

On our first edition we received more than 300 entries form all over the world.
42 dancefilms were chosen to be part of our official selection. Our first live event to place 3/24 in Club Social 911 , Buenos Aires.
*** HOW TO PARTICIPATE***
We accept all kinds of films of up to 20 minutes in which dance and movement are the protagonists: video-dance, video art, experimental, short film or documentary. We accept entries exclusively via Festhome. Please check out our rules & terms before submitting.
***SELECTION***
The selection is carried out by a team of professionals related to video, cinema, dance and culture through a rating process.
All creators whose films are selected for screening will be notified by email and provided with specific details about the live event. We will request specific assets (biographies, stills, posters) prior to the screening.
The Life Beyond Life Film Festival is proposed by the ArtInMovimento Popular University and the Cultural Association SystemOut (both at Torino, Italy), being in synergy with A.R.E.I. ( The Afterlife Research and Education Institute, Normal/IL, USA) and Religion Today Film Festival, and linked to the International Afterlife Conferences Andare Oltre. Uniti nell Luce e Oltre L’Oltre. This Afertlife Cine Fest will lay the focus on eschatological subjects referring, in the main, to the Hereafter.
Death for many cultures represents the great taboo, where instilling fear and terror, anxieties are hidden behind, along with emotions, probably based on a dominant mainstream, that subjects most people by orienting themselves towards particular lifestyles and behaviors.The Life Beyond Life Film Festival, casted on, by an anthropological and esoteric eye, welcomes clips/shorts, medium and feature film, documentaries/fact films, video arts, and cartoons, thematising the terminal care, grief, transition, the visions of the Afterlife, Eternity, Immortality and Destiny; the Coincidences, the Divine, Angels and Demons, Karma and Darma, Samsãra, the Akashi Records, Entanglement, the Multiverse (parallel dimensions), Quantum Physics and Universal Energy. There will be even space for testimonials, narratives, bearing witness specially to the learnings of mediums, psychics and holistic operators, being both in continuos connection with the Afterlife and having had some experiences with it, as well as cinematographic products of great worth, having a significant social and spiritual value, where the message linked to Death will be Hope, Solidarity and Lightness.

The PiterKiT International Student Film Festival (hereinafter referred to as the Festival), is an international festival, based on the criteria for categorising film festivals as international film festivals, approved by Decree No. 78 of the Government of the Russian Federation of 2 February 2019;
The Festival programme is open to national and foreign films, or films which production is in accordance with the international agreements of the Russian Federation together with the producers of the film who are foreign citizens, stateless persons or foreign legal entities;
A jury composed of leading Russian and foreign cultural and artistic figures is set up to evaluate the Festival’s competition programme.

L’Europe autour de l’Europe - European film Festival Paris will run from April the 8th to April the 21st 2025 in Paris and Île-de-France.
Its selection presents art-house and author films produced by the countries of Greater Europe (members of the Council of Europe) focusing on connections between classic European filmmakers and new talents of contemporary cinema. One of the festival's main objectives is strengthening the creative audiovisual industry network across Europe.

WomenTime! II Festival de cine Femenino de Canarias, is a film festival online (through FIlmin) and in person (Tenerife and Madrid), which aims to visualise women as filmmakers.
This project vindicates the current situation of gender inequality in our society by highlighting women as filmmakers. WomenTime! is a festival of short films, under 15 minutes long. Directed, produced or scripted by women. Short films with gender or feminist themes are accepted, but will not be entered into the competition. Accepted in all languages, but with Spanish subtitles for the screening (English subtitles are accepted). The selected short films will be screened for one month on the Filmin platform (during the duration of the festival).

The 11th annual Mammoth Lakes Film Festival will screen features and shorts for five days in the spectacular setting of Mammoth Lakes—California’s premier mountain resort, high in the Eastern Sierra. It will take place on Wednesday through Sunday, May. 21-25, 2025.

Our jury members are acclaimed artists and professionals from the world of independent film. We give out multiple awards in the categories of Narrative Features, Documentary Features, and Short Films. In 2024 we awarded cash and prizes valued at more than $40,000.00. We also provide travel stipends, housing, and festival passes for our filmmakers. The Vierte Welle Films Festival aims to give visibility to female, transmasculine and non binari artists and raise awareness about gender inequality, citizen participation, prevent prejudice, fight against discrimination, and recognize rights through audiovisual content, MADE BY WOMEN*, of the so-called fourth-wave feminism.
Fourth-wave feminism is articulated by creating audiovisual and written content of a philosophical, political, economic, social, ecological, and cultural nature, academic or not, and disseminating the same through social networks and traditional media.
The first festival’s edition was in 2019 in Berlin.
The festival is organized by Karne Kunst in collaboration with Sorora e.V and Xochicuicatl e.V. The team responsible for the festival consists of women, mainly with a migration background, and feminist activists in various groups and organizations.
In addition to the screening, the festival is complemented by a comprehensive program including free activities open to the public.
We strongly encourage submissions from artists who experience multiple forms of oppression from Black, Indigenous, and people of color and artists with disabilities, queer, trans, and non-binary/gender-nonconforming people.
Registration for the Festival has a fee, but it can be applied for free using VIERTEWELLE2022.
The topic of the work will be the violence of gender, in any of its manifestations, its prevention and sensitization against it, being able to present documentaries and short films of plot fiction.
The jury will have special consideration for those works that address this issue by focusing on the youth world.
Films and videos produced from January 2021 onwards, within the festival’s environmental theme, are eligible to apply, whether fiction, animation or documentary feature, medium or short films. Short film works with up to 15 minutes with credits. Medium-length works with up to 69 minutes with credits and feature film works with 70 minutes or more.
FESCIMED was born with the desire to consolidate itself as a reference in the panorama of short film festivals organized in Spain in order to help raise awareness of the need to deepen and protect the values that underpin justice, freedom and democracy. As a film festival, it is a tool for the promotion of Human Rights in various aspects, ranging from the exhibition and compilation of audiovisual material on the subject of the Right to the Truth as a file, to the programming of debates, performances, exhibitions and lectures on the subject of the hands of historians, filmmakers, journalists and any other culture professional in order to foster dialogue.

The theme that identifies it is based on the idea of "slowness" or "slow life", what we understand as a bunch of actions (respect for the Environment and people, responsible consumption, defense of culture, decrease, life and leisure alternative, cooperation, food sovereignty, social economy ...) that make individuals improve their quality of life, control their time and be critical of the current economic and social system.

The GEH Short Film Competition is a short film competition on human rights held in different localities of Gipuzkoa (Basque Country).
This competition is part of the global project human rights Giza Eskubideak Herrira (Bringing human rights to the people.). The GEH is a human rights awareness project created by the dar-dar Productions cooperative in 2015. The first editions were based in Ordizia. In 2023, the festival has developed and extended to several towns in Gipuzkoa (Euskal Herria).
The main objective of this competition is to raise awareness and educate on human rights. Because this short film contest is a window that we open to the world, and from that window we can see the different realities that people live in different parts of the planet. In view of these realities, we intend to encourage reflection on human rights violations in different parts of the world.
Whatever the format is, all films will compete on equal terms.
Awards:
1.First prize 1000€ for the best short film.
2.Second prize 500€.
3.Special Award "Arteria Award" 400€ for Vasque Country's best short film.
4.Young prize 300€.
To these prizes will be applied the retention of the corresponding tax (IRPF).
