Aswan International Women Film Festival (est. 2017) is the first annual Egyptian film festival that focuses on cinematic works representing women’s issues, celebrating their success stories and supporting female filmmakers in Egypt and the MENA.
The Manuel Trujillo Duran Foundation and the Maracaibo Film Festival Foundation, together with other organizations and institutions of regional and national prestige, present the IX Edition of the Maracaibo Film Festival, which will take place from November 20 to 24, 2023, offering an excellent program of workshops, talks and exhibitions, both in person and virtually.
As in previous years, this 2023 we will open spaces for the creation, promotion and dissemination of new and unprecedented ways of telling, hearing and seeing local stories that are transformed and gain global importance, being vital and unique testimonies of people, individuals and communities.

In the historic enchanted village of Campo di Giove, in the province of L'Aquila, the second edition of the "Giove International Film Festival" will take place during the summer program organized by the "Pro Loco Campo di Giove".
Short Films from all over the world will be screened live in an evening dedicated to the seventh art in a location surrounded by greenery and full of tourists who populate this diamond of the Majella National Park every year during the summer.

Can ChatGPT support the creative writing process for a screenplay? Can an Artificial Intelligence find a good film idea, improve a plot, write good dialogues, advise the author dramaturgically and help to write a really good screenplay?
Here's the task: Write together with ChatGPT a screenplay for a short film. Then put the screenplay into practice and submit the finished film to us by October 15th, 2023. A jury will then evaluate all submitted films and compile the best films for our festival "Filmstube goes Cinema". At the end of the year, we will then invite you to the screening and award ceremony.

The received material will be selected for a new edition of the International African Film Festival in Argentina, which will take place in August 2024 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Starting in 2007, Observatorio Sur undertook the “Mirrors and Mirages” International Film Series on and from the African continent. In each edition we have selected films based on different subjects to show and debate on history and actuality in the African world.
This year we are organizing a mixed version: online and physical Location. Thus, we are also aiming to reach new audiences, beyond the participants from the city of Buenos Aires who usually come to the cinema.

The Juree Awards Asia is back for its second-year running to celebrate storytelling excellence and discover talents from the region. The Juree Asia Awards invites all creators from Asia to submit their original short films across all genres from 1 January 2021 onwards.
The Vertical Storytelling Award is also back and designed exclusively for creators under 35 years old. Vertical stories have become popular among young creators through its captivating narrative for digital audiences.
