Entries requirements:
-> All films must have been made in or after 2012 and have English subtitles (unless English is the main language spoken); A creation date does not apply in case of the screen writings from being stopped for submissions, but the submitted must be in English or have a copy translated in English;
-> We accept shorts, documentaries, animations, experimental, music videos, web and new media, commercials (all specified previously under 45 minutes); feature films and feature documentaries (any length, 45 + minutes);
->A description between 50 and 150 words;
->Trailer (not required for movies under 7 minutes; optional) and the film must be submitted as an on-line screener (Vimeo preferred) which may be embedded on the website for visitors to see your creation; you can further opt for modifications in your entry;
->Cover of the film/screen writing or a defining photo;

Digital Griffix film awards changed a bit over the years and is now an IMDB listed international online awards competition taking place each three months.
Each three months our jury determines the best films in each category. Note that we do NOT screen films online or onsite. The films are screened privately by the jury. Our goal is to help filmmakers take the next step in their career. Our jury is composed of award winning filmmakers who perfectly understand the hard work put in independent filmmaking !
Das AVIFF Festival präsentiert während der Filmfestspiele von Cannes an 4 Tagen im Mai ein Programm mit Filmen von Künstlern in Cannes.
Das Konzept: ein weiteres „Kino“ zeigen und audiovisuelle Werke einem Publikum von Festivalbesuchern und Fachleuten präsentieren.
Die ausgewählten Werke müssen weniger als 2 Jahre von Künstlern produziert worden sein und noch nie zuvor in Frankreich präsentiert worden sein.
Das in Cannes präsentierte Programm wird dann im Laufe des Jahres an Partnerorten für Bildung und Kultur programmiert: Festivals, Museen, Zentrum für zeitgenössische Kunst, Stiftungen, Universitäten, Schulen... und das in der Welt, in Europa und in Frankreich.
Mit Unterstützung des Kulturministeriums, der Region Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur, der Angel Orensanz Foundation in New York sowie privaten und öffentlichen Partnern setzt sich das AVIFF Festival seit 13 Jahren dafür ein, den Film des Künstlers und seine Verbreitung zu fördern, zugunsten der weltweiten künstlerischen Freiheit und Ausdruck der eigenen Kreativität.

Das Shortcup Film Festival ist die Weltcup der Kurzfilme. Die ausgewählten Filme werden in 4 Tagen der Ausstellung verteilt, wo jeder Film sein Land repräsentiert und die populäre Jury definiert die letzte Runde, in der der Gewinner am fünften Tag gewählt wird.
Der Hauptzweck des Festivals ist es, ein wettbewerbsfähiges Filmvitrine mit dem lässigen Ambiente einer Bar zu verschmelzen; dieses Jahr wird es in der 6. Auflage in 4 Städten gleichzeitig passieren, diese Städte sind:

Das 14. Jahr wird Neuzugänge und Wettbewerbe beinhalten! Das International Horror Hotel Film Festival and Convention findet jedes Jahr im Juni im Nordosten von Ohio statt. Wir veranstalten offene Wettbewerbe für Filme und Drehbücher in den folgenden Genres: Experimental (nur Film), Fantasy, Horror, Horrorkomödie, Slasher, Science-Fiction und Suspense-Thriller. Wir akzeptieren auch Trailer, Musikvideos, TV-Piloten (Film oder Drehbuch) und Web-Episoden (Film oder Drehbuch) für Projekte in den aufgeführten Genres.
Der Wettbewerb für die Filmmusik für Horrorfilme ist ebenfalls möglich (Einreichungen über unsere Website). Bei der Veranstaltung veranstalten wir auch Live-Wettbewerbe wie Scream King/Scream Queen und FX Make-up.
In diesem Jahr werden wir auch den zweiten jährlichen Filmwettbewerb Room 237 veranstalten, bei dem Filmemacher darum konkurrieren, innerhalb von 30 Tagen einen Film zu drehen, wobei sie eine Mordwaffe einsetzen, die ihnen während eines Zoom-Auftakttreffens zugewiesen wurde. Weitere Informationen zum Room 237-Filmwettbewerb werden ab Januar 2024 auf der Website des Horror Hotel Film Festival verfügbar sein. Wir beim Radical Frame Film Festival sind stolz darauf, die Ausgabe acht der Short Film Series ankündigen zu können.
Die Idee für das Radical Frame Film Festival begann vor einigen Jahren, als eine Gruppe von Denver Aktivisten, Künstlern und Freunden beschlossen hat, die Botschaften des Videoaktivistischen Kinos in die Öffentlichkeit zu bringen. Aufgrund des gegenwärtigen sozialen und politischen Klimas, sowohl lokal als auch global, ist unsere Mission — ein Forum für denkwürzige Filme und Debatten zu schaffen — kritischer denn je.
Wir verpflichten uns, progressive, linke, radikale, antirassistische, experimentelle und visionäre Filme zu präsentieren, die Themen wie Umwelt, Menschenrechte, soziale Ungerechtigkeit, Anti-Globalisierung usw.behandeln.
Das Radical Frame Film Festival zeigt jedes Genre des unabhängigen Films aus der ganzen Welt während dieser unglaublichen bikontinentalen Feier unabhängiger Künstler.
Das Radical Frame Film Festival ist ein Forum, in dem Filmemacher außerhalb der Mainstream-Arena gedeihen können. Kreative Künstler, die kontinuierlich die Grenzen in Film, Video, Kunst und Musik durchbrechen, werden durch dieses Festival gefördert, so dass auch sie eine Stimme in einem Markt mit kommerzieller Unterhaltung haben, der den Erwartungen des Publikums gerecht wird.
Die Short Film Series stellt wahrhaft unabhängige Kurzfilme ins Rampenlicht, die von neuen und etablierten Filmemachernkreiert wurden
Der Zweck ist es, jedem unabhängig von Land zu erlauben, zu seinen Träumen zu treten und die Schritte zu unternehmen, um das Leben mit Leidenschaft und Zweck zu leben.
Der Schwerpunkt der Kurzfilmserie ist es, ein Ort zu sein, an dem aufstrebende Filmemacher und Künstler auf der ganzen Welt eine Chance haben, entdeckt zu werden und ihre Träume zu erfüllen.
Es wird persönlich mit Online-Aktivitäten abgehalten.
Es findet vom 1. bis 6. April 2025 in den Städten Lebu, der Hauptstadt der Provinz Arauco, und in der Stadt Concepción in der Region Biobío in Chile statt. Mit nationalen und internationalen virtuellen Unterorten für die Ausstellung von Wettbewerben. Seit 2018 ist CINELEBU das einzige Festival in Chile, das Kurzfilme in drei Kategorien für die Oscar® Awards qualifiziert: Internationale Animation, Regionale Fiktion und Internationale Fiktion. Seit 2023 qualifiziert es sich für die Goya Awards und Marca Chile.

How do we utilize cinema’s power to activate?
Can we work together so that films gain better momentum festival to festival and unleash the power of the combined festival community in some way?
Are we utilizing the strength of the festivals as an information gathering and dissemination tool as fully as we might?
What information is not being gathered when we collect films and crowds and can we change that?
This is the data age. Are we embracing transparency as fully as we might?
As trusted curators of this colossal heap of cinema culture, how do we really make a difference on a long term basis?
Is a short burst of guidance enough?
Growth requires consistency and do we provide that?
We are the filter, the trusted source. Film festivals are discovery platform for films that might otherwise be ignored. How to carry that over to the online environment?
How do we transform young people into loyal cinema lovers?
We are losing the youth. Can we stem the tide?
Directors' Fortnight Kolkata is first of it's kind from India. The festival will be curated by a Curator.
The Venue of the Festival will be at "Doab", One and only independent filmmaking space in Kolkata. The festival program includes Seminar, Talks, and Workshops as an attraction along with the Live screening of International Films.

True Edit Award – You create a short film using only the material (audio/visuals) provided by the 90 minute feature without losing the essence of the story!

Women in Focus emerged in 2009 with the aim of encouraging the promotion and protection of women's rights through film, through the dissemination of films that allow give visibility to the violation of their rights and encourage debate. In this way he sought to create an open standard for men and women around the world space where open dialogue between genres and promote the active participation of the whole society to defend the full exercise of human rights, with a focus on the situation women in the world. They worked on a broad call, unlimited sex, age or origin, and with the conviction that change is possible only from the inclusion of attention.
The axis of Women in Focus is on the woman and her history of violations, to disseminate and denounce the naturalization of the unjust conditions they are facing, and give visibility to the diversity of social, cultural experiences and forms of organization, aiming thinking about other possible worlds. Through films about women also understand and discuss the construction of gender and how it is all of society we seek.
FICUNAM, the UNAM International Film Festival, was founded by the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2011. The intention of the Festival is to promote the exhibition in Mexico of critical and innovative cinema, both domestic and foreign, in a space open to reflection, discussion of ideas, and networking. The editorial line of the Festival represents its political stance, in terms of aesthetics’ politics.
The seventh edition of FICUNAM will be held from February 21st to 28th, 2017. The award ceremony will take place in Mexico City on Tuesday 28th of February, 2017.
