WHAT IS SIFF?
The Sabadell International Film Festival (SIFF) is defined by its name: a festival dedicated to independent filmmakers who captivate audiences with original and innovative stories. Our aim is to offer a selection of cutting-edge cinema from around the world, positioning us as the ideal place to discover new talents and global premieres.
PERSONALITY AND IMPACT
Our carefully selected winning films will be screened at Sabadell's iconic Imperial Cinemas, while the awards will be presented at Sabadell's historic Teatro Principal. This impressive building, the work of architect Francesc-Daniel Molina, was inaugurated in 1866 and decorated in a remarkable baroque style by leading artists of the time.
In addition, we will use streaming platforms for our official selections, allowing the films to reach a wider audience and participate in the selection of the Audience Award.
PERMANENT RECOGNITION
The selected films will compete for the Félix Award, Fluidra Awards and SIFF’s Ferran Casablancas Awards. Join us for a red carpet ceremony at the Teatro Principal in Sabadell, followed by a glamorous party.

SIFF will have the mission of expanding, enriching and challenging the perception of the world through cinema and audiovisual arts. We will offer a festival that will deepen the appreciation of cinema in all its forms, diversifying audiences and creating opportunities for filmmakers and artists from around the world.

We will aspire to be an essential destination for professionals and film lovers, supporting filmmakers and promoting the impact of their work, through screenings, talks and education. We will look where others don't see and make room for ideas that aspire to cross borders and transform realities.

Official Selections:
Each year we will select the best independent films, both feature films and short films, which will compete for Our Awards. All Official Selections will be available for viewing through the Streaming Platform. SIFF will be more than a festival, it will be a community of filmmakers. SIFF 2025 will take place from October 1-5, 2025.
u22 Festival is the young film festival of Barcelona, the meeting and networking point for young filmmakers from all over the world. From 17th to 21th September 2025 at the Joan Miró Foundation of Barcelona, and online in Filmin.
Internationally, the Festival will award the Best Film, among the first three feature films of a director who has not yet made the fourth, with the Pre-Columbian Circle in its Gold, Silver and Bronze categories. As well as the Pre-Columbian Gold Circle for Best Director, Best Social Documentary, Art and the Environment.
At local level, the Pre-Columbian Gold Circle will be awarded for Best Colombian Film short and feature films.
Non-competitive categories: International Short Films, Animation, Sacred Films, Films for Children and Blinds.

We want this festival to be an inclusive and vibrant space where all attendees can enjoy a carefully selected program and participate in various activities and events that we have lovingly and dedicatedly prepared.
Founded in 2003, IN THE PALACE International Short Film Festival is dedicated to short films, new media and digital arts. Originating as a competitive forum for student films, it has grown to be a recognized platform for the expression of both young artists and established professionals – the only one of its kind in Bulgaria serving this particular sector of contemporary culture, and one of the oldest short film forums on the Balkans.
IN THE PALACE is a Goya Awards qualifying festival, Student Academy Awards® qualifying festival, and an Academy Awards®/OSCAR® qualifying festival for shorts in the categories of Best Animation, Best Fiction, Best Documentary, and Best National Film. IN THE PALACE is a member of the international network of festivals and institutions serving the short film sector – the Short Film Conference.
23rd IN THE PALACE will take place in the Palace of Culture Pernik (Pernik, Bulgaria) from June 27th until July 4th 2026.

IN THE PALACE takes place over a week and offers a range of events, activities, and programs for both - local and international film industry and audience. Since 2018 the Festival organizes the International Interdisciplinary Science Conference.

The Itabaiana International Film Festival was created with the aim of enabling and encouraging young audiovisual producers living in Brazil and abroad to promote their work, thus promoting new productions and professionals in the regional, national and even international segments.
The Festival will show films from all categories and film genres, through competitive and informative exhibitions; in addition to promoting debates on audiovisual with lectures/round tables/workshops that will be held.
The Itabaiana International Film Festival returns for its fourth edition, from July 30 to August 2, 2025.
The Atena Nike Film Award, now in its fourth edition, is characterized by the space it dedicates more and more each year to emerging talents and first works.

Il Concorso ART JUKEBOX è aperto a registi, case di produzione, enti, società e associazioni legate al mondo della musica. Il Festival si terrà a Bergamo e Seriate (BG) dal 18 al 21 giugno 2025.
Possono essere inviati documentari, cortometraggi, lungometraggi, fiction, film d’animazione, videoclip e opere d’ingegno prodotte dopo il 2020.
Saranno valutate e premiate opere cinematografiche dedicate alla musica in tutte le sue declinazioni.

SMR13 INTERNATIONAL INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL
The SMR13 International Independent Film Festival is an annual, IMDb-certified, four (4)-day event held in the second half of November, in Saint-Mitre-Les-Remparts, in the south of France, near Marseille.
First and foremost, it's a physical festival, taking place in "La Manare", a dedicated performance hall with a total surface area of 1000m² and a capacity of 250 spectators.
The 10th edition of the SMR13 international independent film festival will take place from November 21 to 23, 2025.

DIGO – I International Film Festival on Gender and Sexual Diversity of Goiás, is the first film festival in the heart of Brazil to address issues such as Diversity, Gender and Sexuality, by showcasing contemporary audiovisual work and urging historical reviews. The Humus Film Fest is an international festival of short films with environmental themes, focused on audiovisual pieces that show, from fiction or reality, agroecology experiences, urban gardens, connections between the countryside and the city or new ruralities.
The festival aspires to accommodate both the most professional and amateur creators, with
the aim of broadening views on the connections between these two ecosystems, the countryside and the city. We look for stories that tell us about these relationships from humor, poetry, surrealism or everyday life.
