A medida que lo hacemos, mostramos el arte y el poder de contar historias en todo el mundo y reunimos comunidades para compartir culturas, puntos de vista y conversaciones diversas. Con el apoyo de nuestros numerosos socios comunitarios, celebramos el cine independiente como el activo rico, cultural, económico y educativo que es.
Ubicada en la parte central de Nepal, Katmandú es conocida como la «Ciudad del Templo del Mundo».
Katmandú es también el hogar de una gran comunidad de arte y música, una creciente comunidad de cineastas y generosos mecenas de las artes que hacen del público de Katmandú un sello distintivo del festival. Los espectadores sofisticados de todas las edades y orígenes, hambrientos de una película independiente de calidad, son receptivos, obstinados y genuinos. MUESTRA INTERNACIONAL DE CINE DOCUMENTAL
Cuarta Edición
CENTRAL-DOC, Blackbird Films y Huitzil Laboratorio de Creación Multidisciplinaria A.C. convocan a todos los realizadores de documental a participar en la cuarta edición de la Muestra Internacional de Cine Documental, que se realizará del 2 al 6 de diciembre de 2019 en el estado de Tlaxcala, México. Las obras serán proyectadas en espacios públicos, independientes, instituciones educativas y centros culturales, pudiendo ser estos locales, nacionales o internacionales.
Esta cuarta edición de la Muestra está acompañada del tema CULTURA, IDENTIDAD Y RESISTENCIA… A 500 AÑOS. Un tema que busca visibilizar pero sobre todo reivindicar el papel de los pueblos originarios a través de los diferentes documentales que conformen esta edición y que se pretende giren en torno a temas particulares como son orígenes, tradiciones, territorio, lengua, derechos, entre muchos más. En CENTRAL-DOC esperamos documentales con historias que nos permitan cuestionar y valorar lo que nos hace ser lo que somos, de dónde venimos y cuáles son nuestras raíces.
Fantafestival (en italiano: Mostra Internazionale del Film di Fantascienza e del Fantastico; en inglés: International Science Fiction and Fantasy Film Show) es un festival de cine dedicado a las películas de ciencia ficción, fantasía y terror que se celebra anualmente en Italia desde 1981.
El Fantafestival se celebra todos los años en Roma. En los últimos años, aunque mantuvo su sede en Roma, algunas ediciones se celebraron en versión contemporánea en diferentes ciudades italianas como Milán, Nápoles, Génova, Verona, Parma y Rávena.
Durante más de 40 años, Fantafestival ha sido uno de los principales eventos italianos especializados en cine fantástico y uno de los eventos internacionales más importantes de este tipo. Ha presentado y presentado en Italia a muchos cineastas que más tarde se convertirían en los más populares del mundo del cine fantástico.

6TH MY MUMBAI INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
UNIVERSAL MARATHI brings in an opportunity for filmmakers to showcase their talent. Universal Marathi has invited short film entries from professionals and students across the globe for the three-day annual My Mumbai International Short Film Festival in its sixth edition scheduled to be held in 2nd week of October 2018.
There are various categories for short film entries I.e. Social awareness, Animation, Fiction short film, international Foreign Shortfilm, Music video, and Documentary. Short film festivals have acquired a greater importance, eliciting a good response across the world. The event aims at exposing young directors to the global film color.

The Globe International Silent Film Festival

Our goal is to focus on the picture as the basic structure of cinema as an art.
We believe the silent era of cinema (1895-1930) has made the picture and mise en scène richer and more powerful. Although by introducing of sound in cinema we've been passed that era a long time ago but still silent cinema is carrying a great part of avant-garde and artistic films. GISFF aimed to gather, screen and respect these creative films.
CORTADA Euskal Autonomia Erkidegoko (EAE) hiriburuan abenduan egiten den film laburren jaialdia da. EHUko (Euskal Herriko Unibertsitate Publikoa) Alabako Campusak sustatutako proiektu honek Gasteizko Udalaren eta Vital Fundazioaren laguntza du. CORTADAK 25 urtetik gorako ibilbide luzea du. Aurtengo edizioa abenduaren 15etik 18ra izango da, Gasteizko KULTURUNEA FUNDAZIOAREN GELAN (Posta kalea 13, 15, 01005).
CORTADA es un festival de cortometrajes que tiene lugar en el mes de diciembre en Vitoria-Gasteiz, capital de la Comunidad Autónoma Vasca (C.A.V). El proyecto promovido por el Campus de Álaba de la UPV-EHU (Universidad Pública del País Vasco), cuenta con el apoyo del Ayuntamiento de Vitoria-Gasteiz y la Fundación Vital. CORTADA cuenta con un largo recorrido de más de 25 años. La presente edición se celebrará del 15 al 18 de diciembre en el AULA FUNDACIÓN KULTURUNEA, C/ Postas, 13-15, 01005, de Vitoria-Gasteiz.

La FUNDACION ACCION CULTURAL (FUNAC), PRODUCCIONES CENTAURO-JAC y el CENTRO DE ARTE DAVID SUAREZ (CADS) Presentan su festival de cortos Online.
El principal objetivo es ofrecer la oportunidad a jóvenes y profesionales con talento de toda Latinoamérica y mundo hispano en ese mundo profesional. Es sabida la existencia de un hueco entre la etapa de formación y la entrada al mundo profesional cinematográfico. Lo que pretendemos es superar este vacío trabajando en algo fundamental que va más allá de la técnica o el estilo, nos centramos en los factores para que un proyecto tenga viabilidad y se convierta en una realidad.
Consideramos que el audiovisual en Latinoamérica ha experimentado en los últimos años un enorme desarrollo, no en cuanto al talento, que siempre ha estado ahí, sino en cuanto a la creación de una industria capaz de generar obras de calidad. Es gratamente sorprendente descubrir contenidos latinoamericanos en festivales, donde además ganan premios y reconocimientos.
También es creciente el interés de los productores europeos por coproducir con Latinoamérica. Esta situación no existía hace apenas algunos años. Sin embargo, creemos que uno de los problemas a los que se enfrenta el audiovisual en Latinoamérica es la dificultad para dar a conocer y posicionar el talento y los proyectos en el exterior. Éste es uno de los motivos fundamentales por los que decidimos poneros en marcha, dinamizar estos trabajos, ayudar a que circulen por festivales y mercados, que encuentren la manera de financiarse y que se puedan compartir con el mayor número de espectadores posibles.
Con la finalidad de promocionar la provincia de Almería mediante el refuerzo de los vínculos históricos de esta provincia con la industria y la cultura audiovisual, el XXIV Festival Internacional de Cine de Almería se celebrará en Almería del viernes 14 de noviembre al domingo 23 de noviembre de 2025. El Festival está organizado por la Diputación Provincial de Almería.
