Chicago Comedy Film Festival is an international festival. We aim to showcase films that are both humorous and poignant. Comedy often has difficulty competing against other genres in the film festival circuit. The Chicago Comedy Film Festival is a welcoming environment for both experienced and first time comedy filmmakers. What our fest offers:

FANGES ist eine Initiative, die aus dem wachsenden Interesse an Genrefilmen entstanden ist. Das 2003 gegründete IN THE PALACE International Film Festival widmet sich Kurzfilmen und audiovisueller Kunst. Ursprünglich als Wettbewerbsforum für Studentenfilme konzipiert, ist es heute eine anerkannte Ausdrucksplattform sowohl für junge Künstler als auch für erfahrene Profis. Es gehört zu den ältesten auf dem Balkan und ist das einzige professionelle Kurzfilmfestival in Bulgarien.

Brasília Animation Festival is the firts International Film Festival in Brasília, exclusevily for animation movies. The short films selected will be displayed between 04 and October 06, 2019. There will be a special session, named "Bloody Session", dedicated exclusively to marginal, experimental movies, fantastic, surreal and even scatological.
Das Montevideo Fantastic Film Festival ist das erste uruguayische Festival, das sich der Förderung nationaler und internationaler Filmproduktionen aus den Genres Horror, Fantasy und Science Fiction widmet. Ziel ist es, jährlich unabhängige und äußerst unabhängige Kreationen zu präsentieren, die oft als „unbedeutend“ angesehen werden und kaum Zugang zu kommerziellen und kulturellen Kreisen haben.

Das Montevideo Fantastic Film Festival wurde vom Ministerium für Bildung und Kultur zu kulturellem Interesse, von der Intendance von Montevideo zu kommunalem Interesse und vom Tourismusministerium von Uruguay zu touristischem Interesse erklärt.

This is our 12th Year running Jewish Film Festivals. Veteran Film Festival Directors Wendy Honig, Lesley Rich and Arleen Roberts invite you to join our new International Jewish Film Festival. We started our Jewish film adventure in 2014 at the Palm Beach International Film Festival, moving our group of dedicated screeners and patrons thereafter in 2017 to create the Boca Raton Jewish Film Festival with a commitment to grow the festival into one of the largest in the nation, and thereafter becoming the 2nd largest in the US in 2023.
WE DO NOT CHARGE A SUBMISSION FEE, UNLIKE OTHER MAJOR FESTIVALS IN FLORIDA. One of our purposes is to support filmmakers to get exposure for their films and find distribution opportunities.
We have now expanded to become a new International Jewish Film Festival that will be held in February and March with film programs planned year-round. Our large selection of exciting premiere films will be screened at Cinemark Palace 20 and Movies of Delray and Lake Worth. The Festival is a 501(c)3 charity organization formed as a celebration of Jewish / Israeli cinema. It is a gathering of filmmakers, film enthusiasts, and industry professionals who come together to appreciate and showcase the art of filmmaking. We reach out, excite and bring together our community with and through the power of films that showcase Jewish spirit, culture, traditions and humor.

The Òmnium Film Festival is an annual program that recognizes and promotes the best audiovisual productions in Catalan, offering audiences the finest Catalan-language cinema of the year with the aim of encouraging greater consumption of films in Catalan.
The festival takes place simultaneously with more than 160 screenings in 90 venues across the Catalan-speaking territories, as well as screenings in 35 cities around the world.
It concludes between March and September with screenings in schools and high schools through the Educational Program, digital platform releases (Filmin and 3Cat), and presence at parallel festivals and showcases such as Sala Montjuïc or the Gaudí Cycle.
In addition, the festival strengthens connections with the industry through training resources, networking opportunities, and professional spaces for promotion and reflection, in collaboration with key industry players such as ICEC, the Catalan Film Academy, and 3Cat.

Each year, our festival takes place in Paris during the springtime, which is not only a beautiful season but also an exciting time of year for ÉCU, because that is when we showcase roughly around 60 of the World’s very best independent films. Although ÉCU emphasises European talent, it also recognises the genius of international filmmakers with several categories allocated to non-European films.
The next ÉCU, the 21st edition, will take place on April, 2026 in Paris, France.
ÉCU isn’t just about screening an amazing slate of films over its three-day event in Paris. There are also professional workshops led by experts in the industry, Q&A’s held with the attending filmmakers after every screening session and a chance to network with fellow filmmakers, producers, agents, industry representatives, prospective film buyers and, of course, the cinema-loving public. At ÉCU, there is a dialogue focusing on celebrating but also critiquing the world’s best indie cinema of today.
Though ÉCU’s main event IS the three-day festival in Paris each spring, there is even more! Thanks to our 50+ partner festivals, partner organisations, film centres and film commissions, ÉCU goes on an annual world tour called ÉCU-On-The-Road. This gives award-winning films (as well as many of the Official Selection films) the opportunity for their films to reach a broader, global, international audience.
ÉCU-On-The-Road showcased films in over 80 countries around the globe in 2016 to 2025 at special ÉCU mini-festivals, partner festivals, cultural institutions and film schools, including an amazing seven day special festival in São Paulo, Brazil. The event was made possible through the support of Caixa Cultural, São Paulo and was a huge success. ÉCU also held special events in Berlin (Germany), Atami (Japan) and was part of festivals in Lebanon, Italy, Russia, USA, Romania, Austria, Denmark and other countries. This gives ÉCU filmmakers great exposure to audiences that they may never have reached otherwise.
Since 2006, ÉCU has helped the careers of hundreds of independent filmmakers, actors, DPs, editors, screenwriters and we are honoured to give aspiring film directors the chance for their voices to be seen and heard.

FAN CHILE Audiovisual Festival for Children calls to participate in its international competition of audiovisual
quality productions for kids, from any country.
FAN CHILE 5th edition from September 10th to 14th, 2019.
FAN CHILE Audiovisual Festival for Children awards and promotes the debate on audiovisual content for children. Productions and co-productions in any language can entry, but only if they are dubbed or subtitled in
Spanish.
TV channels and independent producers can participate. The call is open to all kinds oftechniques, genders and formats.
Productions that have been completed or aired any time between january, 2017 and May 2019, will be accepted.
Es ist ein Festival mit zwei Wettbewerbsteilen. Offizielle Sektion und Sektion asturischer Kurzfilme. Das Internationale Filmfestival „La Picasa“ findet am 20., 21., 22. und 23. März 2025 in der Stadt Cinco Saltos (Río Negro, Argentinien) statt. Das Festival wird vom Picasa Team, sozialen Organisationen in der Region und in Zusammenarbeit mit der Provinz Río Negro organisiert. Semillero Green Film Fest 2020 es la 10º edición del Concurso Nacional de Cortometrajes de Temática Ambiental. Su objetivo principal es fomentar la creatividad y apoyar la realización nacional independiente de obras audiovisuales cuyo contenido esté referido a la temática ambiental.
El concurso posee dos categorías de participación:
SEMILLERO
Incluye a todas aquellas personas residentes en la Argentina, con domicilio acreditable en el país, o de nacionalidad argentina y que residan en el exterior, mayores de 18 años, a través de la presentación de una o más obras.
SEMILLERITO
Incluye a todos los niños y niñas de nacionalidad argentina de entre 5 y 13 años, que estudien en las escuelas de educación primaria de todo el país, a través de la presentación de una o más obras. Se podrán presentar también las escuelas primarias de todo el país, tanto de gestión pública como privada.

Das Mix Brasil Festival ist eine jährliche Kulturveranstaltung mit Fokus auf Filme, die sich mit Sexualität in ihren verschiedenen Ausdrucksformen beschäftigen.
Im Jahr 2020 nahmen schätzungsweise 176.000 Zuschauer an den Vorführungen, Theater- und Musikaufführungen, Konferenzen und Debatten teil, die in der 28. Jahresausgabe des Festivals gefördert wurden.
Mix Brasil findet im November in renommierten Kinos in ganz São Paulo statt und nutzt die Vielfalt der Stadt, um eine Vielzahl innovativer Veranstaltungen zu veranstalten. Nach São Paulo, Mix Brasil Touren verkürzte Programme auf andere brasilianische Städte.
