Festival Internazionale del Cinema Indipendente di La Plata - FestiFreak è uno degli eventi culturali più importanti e invitanti di La Plata, capitale di Buenos Aires, Argentina. Abbiamo deciso 20 anni fa con l'idea di mostrare e dare in anteprima film e autori che di solito non arrivano nei cinema e negli altri schermi, oltre a recensire i più grandi maestri della filmografia cinematografica. The Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival celebrates its 9th edition this year. HBRFEST quickly became the main festival dedicated to promoting independent Brazilian cinema in the United States. It is the only festival in the world capital of cinema that supports the exchange between the best in independent Brazilian production and Hollywood.
In 2017, the Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival will present three days, of the most brilliant Brazilian films of the year. Award-winning actors, writers and directors will be in attendance.
In addition to the film screenings, the Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival also promotes panels, workshops and debates.

This year's festival takes place at the Ricardo Montalban Theatre in Hollywood, California, and it will award productions in the following categories: Best Short Film. There will also be special recognition for Award Star Rise and Humanitarian Award.
The Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival is produced by Talize Sayegh, which also has been cooperated with major festivals like the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (Laliff) and the Rio Festival.

FKM, Fantastic Film Festival di La Coruña, è un Festival specializzato in film horror, fantasy e fantascienza. Fidé è un festival in Francia interamente dedicato al documentario studentesco internazionale. Si tratta di qualsiasi lavoro filmato, sonoro o multimediale che si appoggia alla realtà e che è stato realizzato durante gli studi del regista. Vi partecipano università, scuole, workshop e studenti di tutto il mondo, per circa 600 documentari iscritti ogni anno. I suoi principi sono quelli della promozione e della celebrazione delle creazioni studentesche, tranne i soliti circuiti, nei quali raramente trovano il loro posto.
Il festival non ha restrizioni della data di produzione o sostegno originale, soggetto o durata.
I registi di tutte le nazionalità sono invitati a iscriversi i loro film. Sono richiesti sottotitoli in francese o inglese.
Il prossimo Fidé si svolgerà nell'aprile 2021, nei sobborghi parigini.

The Georgia Latino Film Festival operate in Atlanta Ga and Norcross Ga. Located just minutes from Stone Mountain. Norcross is a small town known for it’s arts centers, restaurants and easy access to area attractions, trails, restaurants, shopping and scenic byways.
The Georgia Film and TV Office, a component of the Georgia’s Department of Economic Development, the Atlanta Mayor's office on Film and Entertainment and the Georgia Production Partnership are annual supporters of the event and is sponsor of the festival and it’s activities.

La scadenza per iscriversi al XXIV Festival Internazionale del Cortometraggio «El Pecado 2025» è aperta. Il festival assegna quasi 5.000€ in contanti e cinque prosciutti Pata Negra Extremadura: 1.500€ per il cortometraggio di finzione vincitore e 700€ per gli altri quattro premi principali. Il termine ultimo per la registrazione è da martedì 1 aprile a venerdì 23 maggio di quest'anno. La durata non supererà i 20 minuti (21 crediti inclusi). Se ha un suono parlato, verranno utilizzati lo spagnolo o i sottotitoli in questa lingua.

Il festival ha il sigillo «Friend Festival» dei Fugaz Awards. È un festival consolidato e affermato che ha presentato i migliori cortometraggi realizzati in Spagna e all'estero negli ultimi 24 anni. Nell'ultima edizione del 2024, sono stati presentati in concorso 1.093 cortometraggi: 794 cortometraggi spagnoli e 299 cortometraggi provenienti da 48 paesi del mondo. Il festival ha attirato un pubblico di circa 5.000 persone durante i vari eventi del festival. Più di 85.000 persone hanno partecipato alle sue varie edizioni, con circa 12.000 cortometraggi presentati.

Get Reel is a film festival that aims to uncover the greatest new film-making talent, in Australia and New Zealand, by asking entrants to produce a film, less than 10 minutes in length, responding to a specific theme. The festival promotes creativity and has attracted over 1,650 to date. This year's theme will be Time to Talk.
In 2016, the theme for the festival was Being Seen. After whittling down all of the entries over 180 attendees enjoyed the Top Ten films, as voted for by our film industry judging panel including Andrew Morley, Danielle Cormack, Jessica Grace Smith and Socratis Otto, at a Grand Final screening.
The Top Ten finalist screening provided a thought provoking night of entertainment with all funds raised going to Suicide Prevention Australia.

How our monthly festival works…
Our Monthly Festival is a showcase of Short films from around the world, screening 50 minutes of short film in the first half, followed by our selected Feature Short in the second. We also host a Q&A with filmmakers able to attend and talks with local creatives.
At each event, two films will be selected to win either one of our awards:
The People’s Choice Award
The Directors Choice Award
Films included in the first half are nominated for our 'The People's Choice Award’; This is evidently voted for our audiences on the night and votes are calculated collectively from all of our venues.
In the second half of the night we host our 'Feature Short', one film no longer than 50 minutes. This is our headliner for the event. This film is awarded, ‘The Directors Choice Award’, one that our Judging panel felt deserves recognition.

Each three months our jury determines the best films in each category. Note that we do NOT screen films online or onsite. The films are screened privately by the jury.
