バルセロナ国際短編・アニメーション映画祭「Mecal Pro」は、第27回目を迎えます。 MECAL PROの長い歴史は、ヨーロッパと世界で最も重要な短編映画祭の一つとしての地位を確固たるものにし、地方、国内、国際機関の支援を受けています。 2024年には、29のセクションで300本以上の短編映画を上映し、プログラムしています。
メカルは、視聴覚作品のショートフォーマットの展示と普及を促進することに力を注いでいます。一般の人々だけでなく、クリエイターと配給業者がさまざまな活動を通じて出会う機会でもあります。 Mecalは、特に若手クリエイターを対象としたイベントやアワードを開催することで、新進気鋭の才能の育成にも力を入れています。 この意味では、短編映画の普及ネットワークとしても機能しており、国内外の上映会を開催し、世界中の映画祭、大使館、機関と協力しています。

Our celebration is part of the International movement Directed by Women, that for the past 9 years has been dedicated to promote and give visibility to films directed by Women.
Cineteca of Madrid and the CICUS of Seville are hosting the tenth edition with a complete program of short film sessions, feature films, unseen documentaries, sessions for young audiences and children. Filmmakers will be invited to present their pieces to the public and to participate in a Q&A.
There will also be debates, professional gatherings, workshops and a lot of celebration!

In a unique offering your Beeston Film Festival entry fee is your admission to watch the whole On-line Festival! You will be able to watch the competition in your category and enjoy the talent in all the others.
The On-Line Festival presents films accepted into ALL categories – Drama, Comedy, Horror, Documentary, Animation and the local Three Counties competition. The On-Line Festival will be available for 3 weeks after the festival in Beeston.
The Beeston Oscar, or B’Oscar, is awarded to the best film in the following categories - Drama, Horror, Comedy, Documentary and Animation.
This year a new local competition has been created called Three Counties category, that is split into two sections: Long (up to 15 minutes); and Short (up to 5 minutes). Filmmakers from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire ONLY with films in any genre can submit. The prize pool is amazing because we have teamed up with Matthew Martino Benevolent Fund (MMBF), a UK based international charity that supports filmmakers and actors, so as well as a B’Oscar there is
Three Counties Long - a MMBF Rising Star Award (£150 prize, mentoring plus physical award and other perks)
Three Counties Short - a MMBF Best Short Award (£50 prize and physical award).
Further prizes will be awarded for Best Director, Best Script, Best Cinematography, Best Acting Performance, Best Soundtrack & Sound Design and an Audience award, too. And, of course, there is a wonderful Best in Festival B’Oscar, too, designed by the renowned ceramic artist, Anna Collette Hunt.
After amazing 5 editions, we are here again. It's a festival where 200 movies are played, more than any of the festival in the world. Almost every film that enters the festival will be screened at the festival, no matter how many days the festival runs.
Now, the winners get DSLR's, too.
NOTE: Awards ceremony will be after 2 days of the event and we will book the tickets and hotels for the winners.

FKMは、ア・コルーニャのファンタスティック映画祭は、ホラー、ファンタジー、SF映画に特化されているフェスティバルです。 コンペティション部門では、2020年と2021年に制作された最高のショートフィルムと特集映画が上映されます。 どの目的は、視聴覚産業と芸術の発展に貢献する、ジャンルの視点、独立したプロダクションの配布、映画文化に新しい男性と女性の映画製作者の取り込みを促進するfomented。
The festival is organized by the Udada Festival Trust (UFT) and seeks to develop a local and regional audience by showcasing films that have been done by women for women and are not necessarily distributed in local cinemas or television. Special attention will be given to African films made by women and films pertaining to African women.
The mandate of the UDADA Film Festival is to:
Facilitate interaction between women filmmakers; and women filmmakers and their audiences;
Support and encourage women involved in film production;
Increase the exposure of new productions written and/or directed by women;
Showcase women productions to the Kenyan and International film industry for future ventures;
Provide opportunities for professional development;
Provide a marketplace for industry. In essence, a reverse trade mission providing local filmmakers and producers access to the national and international film industry;
Develop and offer youth programs to develop the next generation of filmmakers.

By taking it online, FxS reaches audiences around the world in an effort to bring a personal film and music festival in the comfort of their own home.
