We screen the best documentaries from around the world at the Roxie Cinema, the oldest art house theater west of the Mississippi. Many of our titles end up with calendared runs at the Roxie later in the year. We get great press coverage in San Francisco, the second largest film market in the country, plus industry reviews.

The IMAGO FESTIVAL - IBERIAN-AMERICAN SHORT FILMS offer a space of film quality projection to a wide public, by proposing them a rich and diversified programming.
The Hyperdrive Film Festival is a fantastic, fun film festival where visitors can get up close and personal with some of the greatest up-and-comers from the world of Sci-Fi and Fantasy film. The festival will run on the 3rd and 4th October 2015 with filmmakers from across the country coming to show-off their latest productions, answer your questions and, all the while, raise a great big pile of money for a fantastic cause.
The charity that will benefit from The Hyperdrive Film Festival will be the Smile Train (Registered charity number: 057389620, smiletrain.org.uk) who provide thousands of free, often life-saving, cleft lip and/or palate surgeries each year to children in developing countries. For every £150 we raise for Smile Train, another child will receive a cleft surgery that can save their lives and gives them the chance at a normal life, with a smile
We will be hosting the festival at the Hailsham Pavilion (Registered charity number: 1062538, pavilionhailsham.co.uk), a beautifully refurbished Edwardian theatre/cinema. Part of the money raised will go to renting the cinema for the two days of the festival.

4th INTERNATIONAL CHANGING PERSPECTIVES SHORT FILM FESTIVAL REGULATIONS
ABOUT FESTIVAL
Initiated by Katadrom Arts and Culture and Social Politics Association based in Istanbul- ‘The 4th International Changing Perspectives Short Film Festival’ will be held between the dates of 6th - 8th of May 2016 in Istanbul, to then continue its yearly tour across other cities: Berlin, Yogyakarta, and other cities around the world.
The Festival will screen about 100 short features, short documentaries, short animations etc. of young filmmakers, students and teams who express different perspectives, concepts and imaginations about border.

The topic of 2016 - “Border”
This year, the main topic of the festival will be “Border”. There will be a festival section about 15 films, a photography exhibition and a panel discussion focusing on the main topic.
There are so many different borders: physical borders, geographical borders, social borders, mental borders, political borders, sexual borders, religious borders, imaginary borders – to name just a few.
To be born or to live on one side or the other of a border is often random.
However, it’s not so easy to let go of the constrictions borders create, as our identities are often shaped upon a deep conviction of belonging to one, unique place, country, religion or gender. During the festival we want to explore the different aspects of border providing a platform for all the diverse perspectives on the topic. Besides 2016 thematic-focused program, the festival will also screen films under its traditional sections: Exchange Experience, Cultural Insights, Ridicule, Umbrella.
FILM SUBMISSIONS
Short films which do not exceed 20 minutes – (documentaries less than 30 minutes), music videos, experimental films etc. – all with English subtitles – will be screened during the festival.
• Films should be no longer than 20 minutes
• Documentaries should be no longer than 30 minutes
• Films dealing with the topics mentioned above will be preferred.
• All films in a language other than English must have English subtitles.
• After official selection of a film the festival is qualified to use excerpts from the film, with a maximum of 1 minute for promotional purposes (The total duration of the excerpts is not to exceed more than 10% of the film running time).
• As Changing Perspectives Film Festival is a take-away Festival it should be accepted that films will be screened in different places apart from the festival

I hereby confirm that I have read all of the rules and regulations listed in the International Changing Perspectives Short Film Festival (icpsff) submission guidelines and the terms and conditions listed in the release form, before submitting my film work mentioned above, to the Changing Perspectives Short Film Festival 2016. I also confirm that I understand and agree to abide by all of the guidelines, rules and regulations posted by icpsff relating to the submission of my work to the Changing Perspectives Short Film Festival in general and in particular.
I understood and agreed that, if my film will be selected for the festival program as a take away film festival, icpsff can screen my film during the year in different cities and countries maximum 5 times at a festival selection from the program. Film makers will just be informed of other screenings by e-mail.
The Festival Committee is responsible for resolving all issues that are beyond the scope of Festival rules & regulations and disputes or disagreements that might occur.

FARO 1540 - Verband zur Verteidigung und Förderung des Umwelt- und Kulturerbes von Faro organisiert nach dem Erfolg der letzten Ausgaben von FARCUME - Internationales Kurzfilmfestival von Faro die 11. Ausgabe dieses Festivals, das vom 26. bis 28. September 2025 in der Stadt Faro stattfinden wird.
Diese 15. Ausgabe von FARCUME beabsichtigt, Werke im Bereich Kurzfilme mit einer Länge von bis zu 18 Minuten auszustellen und zu bewerben, die in drei Kategorien unterteilt sind: Animation, Dokumentarfilm und Fiktion.
An diesem Festival können alle in- und ausländischen Bürger einzeln oder in Gruppen teilnehmen, indem sie einfach die Bestimmungen der Verordnung einhalten, ein Anmeldeformular ausfüllen und ihre Werke bis zum 11. Juli 2025, vorbehaltlich der Vorauswahl, an die Organisation senden.
Der Hauptzweck dieses Festivals bleibt derselbe: neue Talente bekannt zu machen und zu fördern sowie die hervorragende Arbeit, die in diesem Bereich geleistet wurde, aber nicht immer die gewünschte und verdiente Förderung findet, in der Öffentlichkeit bekannt zu machen.
Mit anderen Worten, FARCUME beabsichtigt, in einem informellen Umfeld, guter Laune und einer entspannten Atmosphäre das Engagement, die Hingabe, die Kreativität und die Verdienste von Regisseuren, Schauspielern und technischen Teams zu belohnen und anzuerkennen, die mit bescheidenen Mitteln Werke von hoher Qualität entwickeln können.
Angesichts der Prinzipien und Ziele von „FARO 1540“, das sogar den Status einer Nichtregierungsorganisation (Non Governmental Environmental Organization) hat, wird das Festival auch weiterhin ein starkes Umweltbewusstsein und Sensibilität walten lassen und die Teilnehmer davor warnen, Kurzfilme zu zeigen, in denen Missachtung der Umwelt, Ungleichheit der Menschenrechte oder Tiermissbrauch behauptet oder gefördert wird. Es wird ein Umweltmanagementplan weiterentwickelt, der speziell für diese Veranstaltung „entworfen“ wurde, um die Optimierung der Ressourcen sicherzustellen, die für die Förderung und Durchführung der Veranstaltung und die Entsorgung der anfallenden Abfälle benötigt werden.
Die Registrierung ist jetzt für das 12. Internationale Filmfestival in Balneário Camboriú geöffnet, eine komplette Veranstaltung, die der Öffentlichkeit das Beste des internationalen und brasilianischen Kinos präsentiert.
Programmierer versuchen, die Arbeit neuer oder konsolidierter Regisseure, die verschiedene Arten von Sensibilität stimulieren, durch Spielfilme, Mittelformat und Kurzfilme zu präsentieren. FICBC sucht auch nach innovativen audiovisuellen Werken, die in unterschiedlicher Produktionsunterstützung für verschiedene Ausstellungsformate hergestellt wurden.
Filmemacher, Profis und Künstler nehmen an Aktivitäten mit der Öffentlichkeit teil und tragen zur Entwicklung von Cinephilen, neuen Fachleuten und kritischem Denken bei.
Der audiovisuelle Markt umfasst den Drehbuchwettbewerb, das Koproduktionstreffen, den Regieraum, den Country Focus und andere.
Die Audiovisuelle Residency bietet Workshops, Vorträge und öffentliche Debatten mit Künstlern und Fachleuten.
„Jedes Jahr ist die FICBC vollständiger und vergisst nie, jedem ausgewählten Film Sichtbarkeit zu geben. Es gab viele Treffen zwischen der Öffentlichkeit und Fachleuten sowie zwischen Fachleuten aus verschiedenen Ländern, die es ermöglichten, neue Koproduktionen zu konsolidieren „, sagt André Gevaerd, Gründer und Direktor des Festivals. Für die Kuratorin Barbara Sturm besteht das Ziel darin, „das Beste aus dem aktuellen Kunstkino in nationalen und internationalen Produktionen zu zeigen und Regisseure in die Interaktion mit Öffentlichkeit und Presse zu bringen“.
Es ist eine kulturelle Veranstaltung mit einem innovativen Format, das sich als eine Veranstaltung von großer Bedeutung konsolidiert hat. Mehrere Medien verfolgen ihre Entwicklung und platzieren sie als offiziellen Teil des Jahreskalenders der großen Filmfestivals. In zehn Jahren präsentierten wichtige Gäste wie die Regisseure Carlos Sorín, Frederike Jehn, Helene Klotz, Hanna Doose, Beto Brant, Renato Ciasca, Sérgio Machado, Rubens Velloso, Patrícia Moran, Francisco Garcia, Chico Faganello, David Schurmann, Künstler Hans Op Beeck, Schauspielerinnen Bianca Braun, Paula Braun, Pauington, Pauington Djin Sganzerla, Christiane Tricerri, Schauspieler Marcos Azevedo und Ivo Muller, Kritiker Rodrigo Fonseca, unter vielen anderen, die anwesend waren und direkten Kontakt mit der Öffentlichkeit hatten.
DIE VERSCHIEDENEN SITZUNGEN DES FESTIVALS:
Internacional: zeigt Filme, die ihr internationales oder nationales Debüt geben. Kurz-, Mittel- und Spielfilme aus der ganzen Welt, die an einem Wettbewerb teilnehmen.
Nacional: Spezial für brasilianische Produktionen. Kurz-, Mittel- und Spielfilme.
Live: offen für neue Manifestationen der audiovisuellen Sprache durch neue Produktionsmittel und verschiedene Ausstellungsunterstützungen. Erweitertes Kino, Live-Kino, Installationen und Formate, die über die Möglichkeiten des dunklen Raums hinausgehen.
Catarina: projiziert Filme von Regisseuren aus Santa Catarina oder die eine Beziehung haben - Regisseur, Produzent, Besetzung, Crew, Standort, andere - mit dem Bundesstaat Santa Catarina.
Nachtaktiv: Öffnet ein Fenster zum fantastischen Kino bei Nachtsitzungen.
Little Owl: bringt Programmierung für alle Altersgruppen und trainiert junge Filmfans.
FFF 2017 accepts feature films, documentary, animation, medium and short films from established and emerging , independent filmmakers, film schools and media collectives from Ireland Europe and around the world.
The association Mente Acrobatica in partnership with CGIL Taranto organizes for June 2016 the 3rd edition of the International Festival of short films “Taranto in short”.
The festival is divided in FOUR sections:
• INTERNATIONAL (dedicated to short films from all world nations excluding Italy with the requirement of English or italian subtitles );
