Tlanchana Fest, Festival of Cinema and Digital Art is carried out by Tlanchana Cultura Audiovisual AC, in order to create an exhibition space for emerging talents from Mexico and the world, by combining elements that promote cinematographic creation in conjunction with new media and digital art.
The Eighth Edition of Tlanchana Fest will be held from July 13 to 17, 2022 and will feature a series of screenings, conferences and workshops, as well as facilities and other activities that will be carried out virtually and in person and that will serve as an incentive for the work in cinematographic and digital art matters.
shnit Worldwide Shortfilmfestival is a premier venue for the exhibition and promotion of short films. The festival is an exceptional twelve-day event with a unique concept – a transnational film festival simultaneously taking place in eight cities on five continents worldwide. In its twentyone years of existence, shnit has become a major international short film festival that reinvents itself in ever new forms. What started as a local initiative is now an exceptional transnational event that connects and inspires makers and fans of short films across the globe. shnit embraces diversity, originality, and exchange between creators and an audience from different cultures and backgrounds. It is the main goal to actively increase the perception of short filmmaking by creating a multi-platform event for high-quality short films. With its cinematic treats, the popular festival fascinates more than 30.000 visitors and therefore belongs to the leading short film festivals in the world.
shnit is a non-profit organization. The annual festival is created and centrally coordinated by the shnit ASSOCIATION in cooperation with the executives. The organization is built on principles of excellence and professionalism, enabling the global expansion of the festival possible.
*shnit Worldwide Shortfilmfestival takes place simultaneously in the several cities, shnit PLAYGROUNDS, on five continents. Planned for 2024 are screenings in Buenos Aires [Argentina], Cairo [Egypt], Goa [India], Hong Kong [China], Moscow [Russia], San José [Costa Rica], Australia, Canada, South Africa and the shnit OPENING in Bern [Switzerland] and the shnit FINALE in Amsterdam [The Netherlands]. Affected by the aftermath of the Covid-pandemic, there may be changes in this planning and / or a geo-blocked password protected online screening could replace a theatrical screening. The shnit FINALE in Amsterdam is held annually, as long as the contributions of the partners and sponsors make this possible.The definite festival-setup will be announced on September 1st 2024 on shnit.org.
The Festival is organized by the CinemArt Association of Pineda de Mar, it is an international festival with the aim of promoting a specific space for the discovery, screening and dissemination of short films.
The main thematic axis of the festival is that of comedy; however, the theme and genre of the productions is free. Quality and originality will be prioritized as the main objective, and that the production is unprecedented.

The 15th River Film Festival is an international festival of shorts that will be held in Padova (Italy) from 1st to 30th June 2021. The Festival is organized by the Associazione Culturale Researching Movies and is sponsored by the Comune di Padova Assessorato alla Cultura (Padua City Council - Cultural Office) and the University of Padua. The festival is totally free entrance.
The films will once again be shown on the screen on the raft moored in the middle of the 16th century fluvial port used for trade between Padua and Venice at the city gate of Porta Portello. This enchanting setting is just one of the many features that attract people to RFF year after year!

Reel Affirmations: Washington DC's International LGBT Film Festival is proud to announce we are now a part of The DC Center Arts Program.
The DC Center is Washington DC's Community Center for the LGBT Community. We are simultaneously partnering with The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) in regard to presenting our monthly film series and The Tivoli Theater in Washington DC in presenting our Fall Film Festival.
Both the DC Center and HRC are amazing organizations with strong ties in the community locally and globally. This is a perfect fit for Reel Affirmations.
With this union, Reel Affirmations has re-launched its monthly film series, Reel Affirmations XTRA and will be bringing back Reel Affirmations: Washington DC's International LGBT Film Festival in late August 2015.
Reel Affirmations is Washington DC's International Film Festival. We are in our 23nd year and the festival takes place in August 2015.Since its first festival, Reel Affirmations has grown to include a companion Pride Film Festival, special screenings throughout the year with a variety of community partnerships, and a grant program to support LGBT filmmakers. The DC Center has an extensive arts program that help tell the stories of LGBT lives.that includes, OUTWRITE: LGBT Book Festival, The DC Queer Theatre Festival and Capturing FirePoetry Slam.
ONLY GALICIAN SHORT FILMS
Short films only: under 30 minutes.
Submitted films must have been completed after 2017 and 2018 and they must also be Galician. This means they must have been either produced by companies or people from Galicia, directed by a Galician director.
Music videos must be Galician too. It means they must be either related to a song from a Galician musician or directed by a Galician author.
Sedicicorto started in 2004 and is held every year in the month of October in Forlì. The Festival aims at offering visibility to young authors and at representing an opportunity of meeting and exchange among film industry professionals.
Known for its quality programming and the friendly welcome offered to all guests and professionals attending the event, over the years Sedicicorto has proven to be the Italian short film festival with the largest number of submissions (over 5,000 films submitted from 125 countries in 2021). Thanks to its consistent presence at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival & Market with the Italian Short Film Corner - organized in collaboration with the Italian CNC and other Italian short film festivals - and thanks to the collaboration with the network of European short film festivals of the EuroShort Project, Sedicicorto is constantly strengthening its image all over Europe.
The event aims at drawing the attention of the general audience, paying particular attention to children and the young audience with screenings and film literacy activities held during the Festival and all year round.
International Short Animated Film Festival - ANISHORT is an international competition that serves to support the animated short films and their creators. At the same time it serves to the promotion, propagation, retrieval and watching possibilities of the best animated short films from around the world.
It should also be a place where community of creative people that producing these films meet. On the other hand, then the place for people who enjoy watching of these films and that are fans of this kind of art.
The festival will take place from 18th October 2023 in several selected cities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia and Poland.
The top 18 short animated films will compete in this competition.
The films will be judged by selected international jury. The jury is composed mostly of professionals or professions closely associated with animation - total 7 judges, each from a different country.
