The aim of ARS GRATIA ARTIS WORLD FILM FESTIVAL is to offer its audience a top showcase of exquisite feature films and short films which fit the creative concept Art for the Sake of Art (meaning original and innovative films which do not have commercial entertainment as a main goal but try to bring a serious creative contribution to the development of The Seventh Art).
ARS GRATIA ARTIS WORLD FILM FESTIVAL is a competitive event – offering trophy, diploma, and cash awards.
ALL feature films and short films submitted to the festival (not just the ones selected for a festival participation) will also be considered for possible film sale / distribution agreement proposals – within a parallel selection process (here below called Market Selection), trying to identify artistic films with a high market potential.
ARS GRATIA ARTIS WORLD FILM FESTIVAL will take place in Arboga, Sweden, at the Medborgarhuset Cinema Hall.
The first edition of the festival will be held between 23 and 26 July 2026.

EN OFF FILM FESTIVAL is an international fiction, animation and documentary short-film festival. The program’s selection process follows a set of artistic and technical criteria.

International New Media Art Festival Videomedeja
Videomedeja is an international new media art festival founded in 1996 in Novi Sad, Serbia, produced by the Video Art Association VIDEOMEDEJA.
The festival brings together international and regional artists working in video art and new media, with a strong focus on experimental, innovative, and avant-garde artistic practices. Videomedeja is a non-profit annual event lasting three days.
The program is dedicated to art projects that use new media for artistic expression and communication, encompassing a wide range of genres and forms that combine image and sound, advanced technologies, interactivity, and hybrid artistic approaches.

The festival is partly financed through submission-related donations.
A donation represents voluntary support for the realization of the festival and does not constitute the purchase of a service, nor does it guarantee the selection of the submitted work.
A donation waiver (fee waiver) applies only to early and regular entries and is available to artists who have had more than three works selected in previous editions of the Videomedeja Festival.

2026 will be our 22nd annual edition of the South African HorrorFest, the original all-encompassing Halloween-season Horror event on the African continent.
The Horrorfest includes its main film festival component with feature films and short films from around the world (featuring many premieres); plus a literature chapter, short story competition (resulting in best-of anthologies published) as well as author readings; Halloween dress-up; live movie soundtrack performance to classic silent films and more.

The SA Horrorfest has been included in prestigious lists of Best Horror Festivals In The World, including Movie Maker Magazine and Dread Central.
We value real movies made by real people, so AI "creations" will be taken less seriously.
After the covid period, the on-line streaming chapter has been paused, so only just cinema screenings are in the pipeline, although request for those not in the Cape Town area have been made, so we will look into restarting the on-line option (that is why the submission options still include streaming on top of the cinema exhibition) - stay tuned for updates (following our social media would be the best way to stay up to date - access all at this link and do subscribe / like / follow etc. :

If the on-line addition is reinstated, filmmakers can decide whether they want their movies to be geo-blocked for Africa only, or whether they'd like it to be accessible all over the world as part of the festival's Global Horrorfest.
All genre variants are accepted, as long as it contains Horror elements.

Science Fiction & Fantasy Ciclos Shorts Fest is a film festival that celebrates creativity, imagination, and narrative innovation through science fiction and fantasy short films. Its country of origin is Colombia, but it is created for the entire world. Science Fiction & Fantasy Ciclos Shorts Fest aims to highlight national and international audiovisual talent. Before submitting your entry/entries please be informed that your film(s) will be screened in various Colleges, schools and Universities of Rajasthan, for free. No compensation is admissible for the screening of your film(s). Your film(s) can also be shown on local or national TV channels. No royalty will be paid for such screening.

The Sogamoso Independent Film Festival - FECISO has established itself as a vital space for the exhibition and promotion of Colombian cinema in Boyacá, highlighting the diversity and richness of the country's audiovisual narratives. Section 1. AI*SF Short Film Contest
It is intended for short films of 30 minutes or less. We look forward to movies that talk about artificial intelligence, are made with artificial intelligence, and other science fiction movies.
Section 2. Short film contest
The target audience is short films of 30 minutes or less on all topics other than AI or science fiction.
Section 3. Short form contest

Festival that is celebrated in CIUDAD REAL from June 20 to 28 2025.
This year celebrates its 27th Edition. It is a Municipal Festival in which €12,500 in prizes are distributed.
The Official Section is made up of 15 works that compete for the different awards of the Jury and Public
The Parallel Section is made up of the works that will be screened during the first 3 days of the celebration and compete for four prizes from the public.
The projections are held outdoors in different spaces of the city with free admission where the public has a leading role since it awards half of the Festival prizes, 6 out of 12.
