El Grito is the first and only fantasy and horror film festival in Venezuela.

We are a space that promotes reflection, meeting and training through fantasy and horror films, serving as a platform for their dissemination and promotion as genres that go beyond entertainment, highlighting its poetic value and its own tools to move from different narratives, techniques and themes. Under the initiative of the El Grito Casa Audiovisual (www.elgritoproduce.com), this meeting was born in December 2019 in the city of San Cristobal, Tachira State.

We look for works that transcend narrative, aesthetic and technical languages within the genre, using history as the main element in his audiovisual proposal, demonstrating as an author, a search for new ways of showing situations, conflicts and twists of the screw hand in hand with references from different disciplines that feed its concept.

EL GRITO seeks to raise its voice until it becomes a thunderous noise that shakes our city and summons for years all kinds of nightmares and monsters that can strengthen our worn out humanity sensibility.

We are on a mission of providing platform for anyone who wants to showcase their artwork to the world. As the first step to this mission, we have formulated and sustained Jyotiba Phule International Film Festival

In 1855, Mahatma Jotiba Phule wrote his play Tritiya Ratna (Third Gem), which is also called ‘Tritiya Netra’ (The Third Eye). This play was the harbinger of social theatre. That is why Phule is known as the father of not only Marathi but also Indian social theatre. He had written this play with the objective of bringing about social change. Phule was an active social worker and thinker. He not only theorized social change but also worked for it and built a movement for social reform.
This Film Festival is small tribute to Jyotiba Phule's work!

More Than Just A Festival!

Art, in all forms, inspires us. From the first drawings of prehistoric man to Artificial Intelligence driven illustrations, the journey of art has been one of curiosity, progress, and redemption. The form of cinema is the most impactful of them all. It is only this art form that has the power to blend time with space. The real and the images correspond to one another in films. It is only in cinema that we can reflect, introspect and often modify our realities as well as our history. It is a medium to look into our past and our future.

The transnationality of films often translates one civilization to another. Cinema is a calling card for the universal values of humanity.

We are here to celebrate this power of films: the power to unite, the power to transform and transcend. We are at the Chennai World Cinema Festival!

Tamil cinema has a history of 100 years.

Rangaswamy Nataraja Mudaliar (1885 – 3 May 1971) is known as the father of the Tamil Nadu film industry and was a pioneer in producing silent films. He had, directed, and released South India’s first silent film ‘Keesaka Vatham’ in 1918. The first Tamil talking feature film, Kalidas, a multilingual directed by H M Reddy was released on 31 October 1931. More than 100 Tamil movies are produced every year. Chennai is the Capital of the Tamil Cinema Industry.
Chennai World Cinema Festival is a unique film competition organized by working professionals from the film industry.
Our programming team focuses on Feature Films & Short Films, as our main mission is to promote talent and their vision. Jane Austen International Film Festival

This is a festival for independent filmmakers who produce works in the following genres: animation, art-house, comedy, documentary, drama: including historical/costume drama, experimental, extended shorts, horror, LGBTQ+ and music video. (Music videos should have an artistic or experimental flair)

The festival is named after Jane Austen because of her great storytelling and her connection to the city of Bath, England where the festival takes place. It's not only historical and costume dramas we accept but all genres of short and feature films are welcome. We are looking for the most exciting and innovative storytelling, films that challenge and inspire audiences.
The Jane Austen International Film Festival is a competitive independent festival held annually in Jane Austen’s splendid Georgian city of Bath, England. We celebrate global independent filmmaking with ambitious programming, creating enriching screening experiences. During the festival we encourage networking and aim to give everyone an entertaining and enjoyable festival experience.

The Jane Austen International Film Festival is named after the famous English novelist Jane Austen (1775 – 1817) who resided for many years in the city of Bath and is known primarily for the major novels; Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Emma, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion.

What sets us apart from most other film festivals is our dedication to view every film submitted from start to finish. We believe it is imperative to view films in their entirety in order to make a fair and careful selection during the nomination process.

All screenings will take place in the historical, grade II listed, Little Theatre Cinema, located in the centre of the Georgian city of Bath

Our aim is to provide not only a memorable cinematic experience for audiences but also an enriching festival event for independent filmmakers. We are looking for the most exciting and innovative storytelling in these different genres, films that challenge and inspire audiences. Our festival is more than just a screening space, it is an opportunity to meet like-minded people and help bridge the gap between audiences and film creators.

Our focus on short-form filmmaking stems from an appreciation of the unique position short-form storytelling occupies within the cinematic universe. These films are generally harder to access and have difficulties reaching larger audiences. However, their position outside of mainstream cinema and their abbreviated length allow the filmmakers more experimentation and artistic freedom.

The JAIFF selection committee is made up of international industry professionals and the festival founders. The festival judges are high standing industry professionals.

The maximum running time for Art-House, Animation, Experimental, Comedy, Drama, LGBTQ and Horror film is 15 minutes.

There is a 5 minute time limit for music videos.

Notifications for all nominated films will be announced via email, Festhome, website and our social media on August 7th August 2023.

Filmmakers who are nominated, and whose films are part of the official selection for screening at our cinema, should provide a DCP version of their film on a USB stick. However, we are able to accept downloads for films in other formats such as MP4 and MOV. We can accept a DCP download for short films providing the file size is not excessive.
Digital downloads must be received by 28/08/2023.
DCP USB sticks must be received by 01/09/2023.

Award winners will be selected and announced at our festival gala award evening and online at social media outlets at a later time.

The awards will ONLY be given on the Gala Award Evening, each film should have its representative; producer, director, etc., present to receive an award.

The Jane Austen International Film Festival is held during the world famous Jane Austen Festival; 14th, 15th & 16th September, 2023.
Festival passes will be available to purchase from August 7th 2023.
You may wish to arrive in Bath some days before the Film Festival in order to enjoy some of the activities on offer.

This international meeting, already a classic in Punta del Este, has some peculiarities that distinguish it from other Jewish Film Festivals in the world, due to the fact that it takes place in such a special seaside resort as Punta del Este, a meeting point where communities from different countries gather annually in Uruguay.

The Punta del Este Jewish Film Festival (Festival Internacional de Cine Judío de Uruguay, FICJU®) was born in 2003, with the purpose of generating a cultural, educational, didactic and illustrative space, oriented to promote the knowledge of the history of the Jewish people and its diverse cultures and traditions, thus seeking to strengthen our identity and integration through art.

Fiction films and documentaries with different perspectives of the Jewish theme are shown, spaces are organized for the analysis and reflection of the history, customs and cultures of our people around the world, and the memory of the Shoa (Holocaust) is constantly maintained.

We discover new aspects of our heritage and identity, as well as learn about the current conditions of the different Jewish communities around the world, fostering the integration of all Jewish people through the knowledge of our shared essence.

Thanks to the above, the Punta del Este Jewish Film Festival becomes a focus of tourist attraction, with an average of 2,500 attendees.

From YouTube, Twitch, IGTV, TikTok, Spotify, Facebook and beyond, web content is king. And we want to celebrate you! ACTORS whether you are creating your own content or starring in other web series style show and video, this fest is for YOU!

IMDb qualifying!

After years of running Chicago Comedy Film Festival, LA Comedy Film Fest and America's Funniest Viral Videos, we see the need to add another event to our programming. Web content often gets lost in the traditional festival circuit and we're out to change that. In the Spring of 2022 LA Web Series Fest will all take part during LACFF! It's hard to predict what the "new normal" will be for events, but we plan to have this portion of LACFF at a fun live venue in 2022.
