Festival Internacional de Cine Alamos Magico (FICAM) primary objective is to share positive and educational stories with the world giving emphasis to inspiring documentaries from Sonora, Mexico and the border regions. Further, we encourage and celebrate the inspirational work of independent filmmakers from all parts of the world. Through the power of motional picture, FICAM endeavors to empower participants of the festival to better understand our world and the hope that can be brought about through the art of cinema.

The Sicilia Queer filmfest – International New Visions Festival is a project whose aim is to promote the cinematographic culture and the fight against social discrimination, and to protect and sustain the culture of diversity through the promotion of non-compliant movies, exploring horizons in search of a new perspective towards the cinema of the future. The festival intends to promote young actors, emerging and independent cinematography, new forms of expression connected to the experimentation and innovation of traditional and non-traditional languages.

Madrid SOS RACISM 2018 edition announces the contest Short Equal Rights and Against Racism.
Any person can participate in this contest regardless of nationality, sex, origin, legal status, etc.
The theme of the short should be linked to the promotion of multiculturalism, immigration, and the fight against racism and xenophobia.
Of all the short films received, the SOS Racism Madrid jury will select works that will be screened publicly between 19th-25th March 2018.

In the Official Competition Programme of The Festival the right to participate have short fiction, animated and documentary films from film schools in the countries of the Balkan Peninsula and the Black Sea region (Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Greece, Turkey, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Moldova, Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia).
The films should be directed by students in a regular form of education from the first to the last semester, regardless of their degree. The participation of students in the rest of the team or the cast is not a sufficient condition for selection.
