The Loreto International Film Festival call Mexican and foreign filmmakers to register their film work for its first edition to be held from February 22 to 24, 2024 in the city of Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico; in its first two sections of official competition:
International short film
All Mexican and foreign fiction or documentary productions with free genre, technique and theme may be registered, which must be presented as the final cut of the year 2023, with a maximum duration of 20 minutes on screen including credits.

Fiction or documentary short films may be registered whose work is the original work of the professional director, where the production is only mexican with free themes and genres; which must be presented as the final cut from 2022 to 2023, with a maximum duration of 25 minutes. The short films will be admitted, even if they have been released or participated in other festivals. It must be verified by means of a letter from the executive production, where the nature of the director's first professional short film work is stated at the time of being selected.

Here's the task: Write together with ChatGPT a screenplay for a short film. Then put the screenplay into practice and submit the finished film to us by October 15th, 2023. A jury will then evaluate all submitted films and compile the best films for our festival "Filmstube goes Cinema". At the end of the year, we will then invite you to the screening and award ceremony.

It was one of the first locations in Britain supplied by electricity and designed for motion picture exhibition. It was also originally a club of independent pioneers of filmmaking.
The festival is for and by independent filmmakers. The organizers of the MiraBan UK Film Awards brought a team of active film practitioners.

The received material will be selected for a new edition of the International African Film Festival in Argentina, which will take place in August 2024 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Starting in 2007, Observatorio Sur undertook the “Mirrors and Mirages” International Film Series on and from the African continent. In each edition we have selected films based on different subjects to show and debate on history and actuality in the African world.

The Vertical Storytelling Award is also back and designed exclusively for creators under 35 years old. Vertical stories have become popular among young creators through its captivating narrative for digital audiences.
