Das X International Shorty Week 2023 Kurzfilmfestival findet Anfang September im Schloss Santa Catalina in Cadiz statt. Dort kann die Öffentlichkeit an der Vorführung der Kurzfilme verschiedener Wettbewerbssektionen und der Preisverleihung teilnehmen.

Das Carmarthen Bay Film Festival hat sich im Laufe der Jahre von Stärke zu Stärke entwickelt. Von unserem ersten Festival im Jahr 2012 sind wir von 35 Einreichungen auf weit über 750 aus 60 verschiedenen Ländern für unser Festival 2019 gegangen. Die Einreichungen haben nicht nur im Laufe der Jahre zugenommen, sondern auch die Zahl der anwesenden Filmemacher und Festivalgönner.
Wir haben Filmemacher aus den USA, Australien, Holland, Italien, Frankreich und vielen Teilen des Vereinigten Königreichs geflogen. Die Anzahl der Festivalpartner ist auch gewachsen mit Stradey Park Hotel, BAFTA Cymru, RTS Wales, University of Wales Trinity St. David, Felin Foel Brewery, Carmarthen Cymru und vielen mehr. Das Festival ist jetzt ein BAFTA Cymru/Wales Qualifikation, was bedeutet, dass jeder Film, der während des Festivals gezeigt und hier in Wales produziert wird, berechtigt ist, sich für einen BAFTA Cymru Award zu bewerben.
Unser 8. Festival hat einige bedeutende Veränderungen erlebt, seit sieben Jahren findet das Festival im Stradey Park Hotel hier in Llanelli statt. Das Hotel war sehr unterstützend, und ohne ihre Hilfe wäre das Festival nicht in der Lage gewesen, vom Boden zu kommen. Mit der vollen Unterstützung des Stradey Parks fühlten wir, dass es Zeit war, weiterzumachen und etwas Neues auszuprobieren. So fand 2019 CBFF in einem der führenden Theater von Wales im Zentrum von Llanelli statt, was dem Festival eine neue und spannende Dynamik und ein Gefühl brachte.
Es geht um Fairness, unser Motto.
„Dieses Festival ist ehrlich“ und wird immer ein Champion des unabhängigen Films sein.

Mit dem John Hefin Award für lebenslange Leistung in Film, Fernsehen oder Theater. Und wir freuen uns, dass John Morgan von JM Creative diese Auszeichnung während unserer Awards Gala 2019 angenommen hat.

John Hefin wurde erstmals 1960 an der Fernseharbeit beteiligt, als er auf eine Zeitungswerbung für Lehrlingsproduktionsassistenten reagierte. In den 1960er Jahren arbeitete er als Produzent und Regisseur für BBC Wales. 1974 half er bei der Schaffung der walisischen Seifenoper Pobol y Cwm, der am längsten laufenden Fernsehseifenoper der BBC. Er schrieb und regierte 1978 den Fernseh-Rugby-Comedy-Film Grand Slam und inszenierte 1981 die Drama-Serie The Life and Times of David Lloyd George. Diese neunteilige Serie, ein Biopic basierend auf dem walisischen PM, zog auf Gespräche mit Lady Olwen, seiner ältesten Tochter, und AJ Sylvester, seiner Sekretärin. 1984 war John der Regisseur für die Erzählung für eine animierte Version von Prinz Charles Kindergeschichte Der Alte Mann von Lochnagar.
Nach seinem Posten als Head of Drama bei BBC Wales arbeitete er am Department of Theatre, Film and Television Studies an der Aberystwyth University. 1988 wurde er künstlerischer Leiter des Film Cymru (später in Wales Film Council umbenannt), der mit der Inbetriebnahme von Filmen unabhängiger walisischer Produzenten mit S4C-Mitteln betraut wurde. John wurde 2009 mit dem MBE ausgezeichnet, für „Dienste für walisische Film und Drama“. Im Jahr 2012 wurde er mit dem BAFTA Cymru Special Award for Outstanding Contribution to Television Drama ausgezeichnet.

The Viewster Online Film Fest (#VOFF) is an international online event that attracts, displays and rewards features, short films, series, web-series and documentaries that are not always as famous as they should be. It’s a community moderated contest where the public audience will create a shortlist out of all qualified entries.
Essentially the Viewster community and your fans will watch, share, discuss and vote for their favorite entries. They will help to curate the entries with at least the top ten moving onto the finals. After that our Jury of Experts - Ted Hope, Nora Tschirner and Timo Vuorensola - will select the winners to be announced December 8, 2014 on http://festival.viewster.com.
The theme for the fourth #VOFF is "Share It Forward." and asks for the issues that are most important to you today.

Das CINE AZUL FESTIVAL OF INTERNATIONAL CINEMA begann als Vorführung von Filmen zum Thema Umwelt mit der Vision, das öffentliche Verständnis für die Umwelt durch bildende Kunst zu fördern, die Art und Weise, wie Menschen über Natur denken, herauszufordern und sie dazu zu inspirieren, verschiedene Alternativen zu diskutieren und gemeinsam zu erkunden, um Teil der Lösung von Umweltproblemen zu werden.
Das 10. Internationale (Umwelt-) Filmfestival „CINE AZUL“ „Surrealidades“ feiert 20 Jahre des Umweltbewusstseins und der Harmonisierung mit der Umwelt. Filme, die sich unter anderem mit Themen wie Klimawandel, Ernährungssouveränität und spiritueller Krise befassen, stellen aus, verbreiten und tragen zur Publikumsbildung bei.
Das Filmfestival ist ökologischer Natur. Aus diesem Grund sind wir der Meinung, dass das implizite Thema bereits vorhanden ist. Jetzt laden wir Sie ein, gewissermaßen über die verschiedenen Parcelas (Abschnitte) des Festivals nachzudenken, und von diesen Chagras aus entwickeln wir einen Dialog. Um diese 20-jährige Reise in unserer 10. Version zu feiern, schauen wir uns das Thema PALABRAS MAYORES an.
Aus der Perspektive von „CINE AZUL“ betrachten wir dies als idealen historischen Moment, um noch einmal auf die Worte der Vorfahren zu hören, auf die Sprachen der Ureinwohner, auf jene Gebräuche und Gebräuche, die Harmonie und Ausgewogenheit mit ihrer Umwelt, mit Mutter Erde, mit PachaMama bewahrt haben, diese Worte, die von Prophezeiungen sprachen, die sich heute erfüllen.
Nach zehn Ausgaben (2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2014, 2016, 2018 und 2020) ist das Surrealidades „CINE AZUL Festival“ nun ein konsolidierter Wettbewerb, der alle zwei Jahre in Kolumbien stattfindet und neue Wege beschreitet, um die Verbreitung, Leinwand und Produktion von internationalen audiovisuellen Inhalten zum Thema Umwelt und Menschenrechte zu fördern.
The Green-Go International Short Film Contest aims to gather environmentally and socially conscious youngsters to organize the contest and the festival on one hand, and on the other hand, to inspire youngsters to creatively express their ideas in a
short film format. With the shorts, we aim to raise awareness on environmental and social problems at global, European and national level. With Green-Go festival, we wish to create the basis of a sustainable green film event that activates both youngsters and the civil society, attracts interested people and stakeholders and generates dialogues within the whole society about key eco-social questions.
Within the film contest, we accept shorts in three categories to reflect on European awareness, global environmental and social problems and the connection between biodiversity and society.
The Green-Go Short Film Contest is generously supported by the European Commission.

The 20th annual Cucalorus Film Festival takes place November 12-16, 2014 in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Whether it is a dramatic or comedic piece, we want screenwriters and filmmakers to share their great stories in regards to the world of sports. We felt that creating this festival would give the many sports fanatics out there an outlet for their love of competition.
Some people have asked us to define "sports". Well, we want to include any subject that deals with mental and physical competition for the sake of winning a prize (and not killing anyone along the way to do it). So we're ready to watch and read any stories from auto racing and badminton to spelling bees and chess.
We ask that your film's plot revolve around a competitive theme. We ask to see something other than a film with a sports scene in it that doesn't involve the story line.
Our jury and judges are well respected people in the film and sporting industry. We'll be adding more so check our website periodically to see the updates.
Having your film or screenplay in the festival may open doors that may not be available to you. We can’t promise sudden fame and fortune but we’ll so our best to get you noticed.
This is the sixth year of the festival and we hope to continue to grow.
Rabbit TV's first annual Oktoberfest, online film festival will be held during the whole month of October. Rabbit TV's 2.3 million plus members can watch at least one new movie everyday for 31 days. As a filmmaker you will be able to gain views you never could before, all while expanding your audience and following. We will be displaying your movie within our website for all our members to see. All your movie’s information will be added below the video player, as well as links to your website or email. The eighth edition of Ventana Oscura, will take place on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 October 2016 at the Forum of FNAC Callao within the events of the Madrid Gothic Week VIII. During the event the selected works will be screened, and this event, only a sample and in no case a competitive contest.
Cine Curtas Lapa ist ein unabhängiges, gemeinnütziges Festival mit freiem Eintritt. Das Festival hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, Filme zu zeigen, die in Rio de Janeiro gedreht wurden oder deren Thema die Stadt ist, um die brasilianische audiovisuelle Industrie zu fördern, insbesondere Kurzfilme aus Rio im traditionellsten Ausgehviertel der Stadt.
